Foo Fighters Win Grammy For Best Rock Album!

Hot off the press! Foo Fighters' latest album 'Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace' has won the 2008 Grammy for Best Rock Album! They nabbed it from contenders Daughtry, Bruce Springsteen, John Fogerty and Wilco at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.

Patience has paid off for all Foos fans with their 'Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace' taking out the award for Best Rock Album at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.

The sixth album for the rockers has gone double Platinum in Australia after hitting #1 in six countries including Australia, UK, Japan, Canada (a career first), New Zealand and Belgium. The album also hit career-high numbers in the US (#3), Germany (#3), Switzerland (#2), Austria (#4), France, Italy and the Netherlands.

A chuffed Taylor Hawkins told NME.com, "We feel great... It'll go to our house and we'll put it next to the other awards."

aku tak minat foo fighters. sebab lagu dia tak melodic pon.
tambahan lagu lagu yg dave gerol bawak kebanyakannya direject oleh kert coben. (masa dalam nirvana dulu)
band nih agak shallow

Ye ke reject? Menurut Dave die sendiri yang agak keberatan serta rendah diri nak kenalkan lagu2 yang die cipta sbb segan dgn lagu2 ciptaan Kurt Kobeng...kire cam rendah diri lertgk kehebatan Kurt kobeng.

It's possible that this song is about the drug addictions and bad habits of the late Kurt Cobain, who was in Nirvana with Foo Fighter Dave Grohl. Grohl's lyrics are very deep and he tries to get the point across that he feels like he could have saved Kurt in several different ways. Grohl claims that the biggest mistake he ever made was introducing Kurt to Courtney Love.
