"Little Boy" and "Fat Man": how to prepare for the atomic bombs of Hiroshima and Nagasaki
In October 2014 the National Archives and Records Administration US was fully declassified "top secret" with a collection of photos of RG-77-BT, stored in a branch of the National Archives in College Park (Maryland). Thus became available dozens of unique photographs taken in preparation for the atomic bombing of Japanese cities, held in the spring and summer of 1945 on the island of Tinian in the Pacific Ocean. Prior to this, you could see only two models of atomic bombs (they were declassified in 1960), the infamous B-29 bomber (Enola Gay), Reset bomb on Hiroshima and individual photos of the now declassified collection RG-77-BT.
In the picture at the top is not a museum layout and the very atomic bomb Little Boy (The Kid), went to the inferno 80,000 people, and then for the next five years, who killed more about 120 000 inhabitants of Hiroshima. It is located on the test bench during the test of automatic systems.

August 6 at 1:45 bomber B-29 under the command of 509 th Aviation Regiment mixed Colonel Paul Tibbets, nёsshy on board the atomic bomb "Little Boy", took off from Tinian Island, located about 6 hour flight from Hiroshima. Tibbets flew the plane in a compound, which included six other planes: a spare aircraft ("Top Secret"), two supervisor and three reconnaissance ("Jeb III», «Full House" and "Straight Flush").Commanders spy plane sent to Nagasaki and Kokura reported considerable cloudiness over these cities. The pilot of the third aircraft reconnaissance, Major Izerli, found that the sky over Hiroshima clean, and sent a signal to "bomb first goal." At 08:15 local time, B-29, located at an altitude of more than 9 km, made a nuke center of Hiroshima. Fuse was set to a height of 600 meters above the surface; explosion equivalent to 13 kilotons of TNT and 18, occurred 45 seconds after reset.
At 2:47 on August 9 American bomber B-29 under the command of Major Charles Sweeney, nёsshy aboard a nuclear bomb "Fat Man", took off from the island of Tinian. Clouds over the city of Kokura not allowed to make precision bombing and after three unsuccessful visits to the goal at 10:32 B-29 headed for Nagasaki. "Fat Man" dropped almost blindly, besides the aircraft had technical problems with the fuel pump and fuel for an additional approach is not enough. tapi masa tentera US tawan kepulauan okinawa....dlm tempoh 82 hari saja kematian tentera US sebanyak 14k
ada yg kata 65K tapi bukan semua kematian disebabkan kena tembak
jgn kata bom atom bunuh orng awam jepun yg tak bersalah....
sedangkan tentera jepun bunuh beratus2 ribu org2 awam yg tak bersalah dari china sampai la ker indonesia... |

Kekuatan bom atom Little boy ialah 15kiloton TNT manakala Fat Man ialah 21 kiloton. Dengan kata lain sebutir bom aje menyamai 15,000 tan dan/atau 21,000 tan bahan letupan biasa. Kalau guna bom biasa, kemusnahan yang sama hanya dapat dicapai dengan penggunaan beratus2 pesawat yang perlu menyerang berkali2 |
