Joaquin attracts English interest

The agent of Valencia winger Joaquin has confirmed interest in the player from The Premier League, with Everton reported to be admirers.

El Che are a club in crisis and a number of their star men could move on this summer, irrespective of whether they win their battle against relegation.

David Villa has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid and Joaquin is another player courting column inches.

However the Portuguese抯 agent, Eduardo Espejo, said that Joaquin抯 priority is to help his side avoid an ignominious relegation before then considering his long-term future at the end of the season.
