This article is not written with any intent of slandering Jang Geun Suk himself, but only to reveal the habitual vote rigging by "one fan" or "a few of fans" of Jang Gen Suk.
This is not the first time that suspicions are raised that some of the awards bagged by Jang Geun Suk in online popularity polls, such as the Yahoo Buzz Awards 2010, the Seoul Drama Awards 2011, and now the Mnet 20's Choice Awards 2012 (20s Global Star), were because of vote rigging by his fans. If no one stops those who rig the votes, more fandoms are going to be victimized by Jang Geun Suk's errant fans.

Mnet 20's Choice Awards (Vote period : June 7 - June 27 24:00 KST, 2012)
In the Global Star category, the top 3 nominees - Super Junior, SNSD, and Kim Hyun Joong - had by and large consistently kept to their no. 1, 2, and 3 spots respectively, up until the last five days before the closing of the poll.
The vote rigging can be seen from June 22 onwards.
It occurred every afternoon, where Jang Guen Suk's votes would suddenly and rapidly jump by 100,000 votes within 1 hour. Then, the rapid increase would stop just as suddenly as it started - which would be just as Jang Geun Suk's votes caught up with the votes for Kim Hyun Joong, who was in 3rd place.
Despite the suspicious 1 hour attacks, it can be observed that Kim Hyun Joong's votes would increase steadily (e.g. between 1,000 to 3,000 votes every 10 mins for up to 23 hours and eventually catch up and then surpass Jang Geun Suk again.
The daily attacks and the subsequent steady catch up by Kim Hyun Joong can be seen repeatedly played out for 3 consecutive days.
The following graphs shows the figures of these 3 days.
The red bar shows the increase of votes for Jang Geun Suk, which looks very unnatural, alarming, and suspicious.
It can be seen from the red bar that his votes would shoot up at a rate of almost 200 times more than average, everyday in those 3 days, for 1 particular hour.
The following screen shots will show just how suspicious the rate of increase for Jang Geun Suk's votes was.
It would be stuck (increasing bit by bit, very slowly) for 23 hours, but then it would suddenly shoot up by 100,000 votes in 45 mins, then it would get stuck again.
Do you think this is natural popularity vote by humans' 'hands'?
In the last 2 days, right before the closing of the poll, it was obvious that Jang Geun Suk's fans (or fan) became even more aggressive in rigging the poll to try to secure a win for him.
They stopped 'operating' 1 hour a day (which was their practice between June 22 and June 24). Instead, from June 25th onward, they expanded their 'operating hours', where it could be observed that the votes for Jang Keun Suk was jumping by an unnatural tens of thousands of votes, every hour. This crazy hourly vote jump only stopped just 5 hours before the closing time, leaving them only 30,000 votes behind Super Junior, who was positioned at No. 1.
Based on their 'performance', it is obvious that they could get 30,000 votes in less than 30 minutes. It is definitely strange and remains unknown why they choose to stop 'operating' to bypass Super Junior, even though it is apparent to even the most casual observer, that they could easily 'win' this poll!

The following tables and graphs, created with the real-time screen shots captured during the Yahoo Buzz Awards 2010 and the Seoul Drama Awards 2011 by fans of Kim Hyun Joong and Park Yoo Chun, also clearly show that this is not the first time the suspicion of dirty tactics is linked to Jang Geun Suk in popularity polls.
These tables and graphs show a 'common pattern', in that at the start of the polls, Jang Geun Suk was always in the last place. Then, in the final 3 to 5 days before the closing of the polls, he would get a rapid and alarming increase of votes.
Is it really possible that some 17,407 people would, out of the blue, decide to vote 'once' - and all at the exact same time - then just as suddenly, stop voting together in the next moment?
Again, this article is not written with any intention to defame or denounce Jang Geun Suk, but to stop a few of Jang Geun Suk's errant fans from repeating such shameless vote-rigging behaviour. This article is only intended to reveal their dishonesty based on data collected from real-time captures. Such dishonesty and foul play must be brought to light because they make a mockery of popularity polls and at the same time, victimize other stars and their fans.
