Being an African American in this sport, how do you think your success has changed the view of life for young African Americans who follow your career? It's been great. When I was growing up, there weren't many African American tennis players that I could look up to out there, except for Zena Garrison. She had such an impact on my life. I hope that I might have that same impact on others some day. Then I would know that everything I've done would have been worthwile.

Out of all the success you have had at this game, what has it taught you personally? I think it's just to always be true to who I am, and humble at the same time. That is my life lesson. In this business one day your in and one day you could be out. I just want to enjoy success while I can.

How long do you think you can keep playing this game professionally? Well, I'm enjoying it so much. The energy and excitement is always there. I can do it for another eight years.

Another eight years? We've never heard ReRe say she'd continue to play this long - she'd be 34 by this point. With her talent, she certainly could though we're not sure her body will hold up that long. Interesting statement, nonetheless.

juz nk tanya kat forumer sekalian,dlm byk2 bintang baru tennis yg makin bersinar2 skrg ni sape yg korang minat dan bakal jadi top player utk lelaki dan wanita..

pada pendapat aku kalau lelaki,bintang yg aku minat dan bakal digeruni ialah :

1. Philip Kohlscrieber (susah nk eja nama dia ni,start minat dia sejak dia kalahkan roddick)

2. Janko Tipsarevic (dr thn lepas kagum dgn dia,aku guarantee thn ni dia betul2 akan menyinar)

3. Marin Dilic (mamat ni serve dia bagus)

utk perempuan pula :

1. Agnes Scavay (corak permainan yg menghiburkan,dia ni sepatutnya dah masuk top 10 tapi selalu sgt kena injured especially sepanjang thn 2006)

2. Agnieszka Radswanka (minat dia sejak 2006,hrp2 sgt thn dia leh break into top 10)

3. Sabine Lisicki (cantik gak dia ni,bakal jadi ratu tennis jerman yg baru sejak \Steffi Graf)

Teenager Radwanska and veteran Craybas to meet in Pattaya final

PATTAYA, Thailand (AP): Teenager Agnieszka Radwanska will meet American veteran Jill Craybas in the final of the Pattaya Open after both won their semifinals convincingly Saturday.

Top-seeded Radwanska disposed of Russian Ekaterina Bychkova 6-1, 6-1 in just 54 minutes, while Craybas beat the towering Akgul Amanmuradova of Uzbekistan 6-4, 6-0 at the $170,000 (euro116,271) tournament.

Radwanska benefited from a string of unforced errors by her opponent to move a step closer to her second WTA title after Stockholm last year.The 18-year-old Pole raced to a 4-0 lead before the erratic Russian could respond, and then sealed the set with a forehand winner.

Bychkova managed a break at the start of the second set but it was the only chance her Polish rival allowed her. Radwanska reeled off six games in a row to take the match.

Radwanska said the semifinal was easier than her earlier matches, and was thankful for the marginally cooler weather in the Thailand seaside town.

"She served well but didn't move well, probably because she was tired,'' she said of her Russian opponent. "I'm happy about my game except the first game of the second set. We played with new balls and she hit good shots.''

The 33-year-old Craybas needed just 63 minutes to beat Amanmuradova and reach her first career final since taking her first trophy in Tokyo in 2002.

"I was just committed to what I wanted to do rather than think about the result and stuff,'' Craybas said. "I wanted to play well, take her serves early and take her away from the angles. I've done a pretty good job at that.''

The finalists have only one previous career meeting, when Radwanska beat Craybas 6-2, 5-7, 6-0 at Eastbourne last year. "That was on grass,'' Craybas explained. "It's a different surface. We're both fighters and consistent. So it will come down to just a few points here and there.''
