Bestnya baca experience korang! Anyway kan kalau nak pergi sana, budget dalam berapa dollar bawa unt ...

baru balik dari 16 days trip kat sana.. Mmg bestt..
total spent; air tickets + lodging + sewa kereta + entry fees  boleh dapat around myr8-9k..
tapi x campur shopping la.. Kena bear in mind, temptation utk shopping kat US sgt tinggi
kalau ko ada menjejak mana2 premium outlets or dept store mcm macy's.. Melainkan hati
mmg kental x mo shopping..

air tickets  dpt  total + tax rm3870.. Etihad airways.. Multicity kul-jfk, lax-kul..Makan ok.. Transit pun x terasa...
Nyc- washington dc- san francisco-la- vegas- grand canyon..

X reti nak upload gambar pakai phone.. Tp paling best pada aku kat nyc.. Journey from sfo to la via
highway 1..and dari la ke vegas..lalu desert, ghost town.. All in all.. Usa mmg best..

Kalau nak cari hotel bajet di US, recommend menggunakan laman web http://travel.hooiweng.com/ untuk mencari hotel atau homestay.
Awak pasti boleh mendapatkan kadar bilik hotel yang termurah dengan membandingkan harga dalam laman web ini.

ok...nak tanya otai2 yang biasa pergi sana...
saya dah nak pergi ke washington 27hb ni...insyaallah di sana dan kawasan surrounding selama sebulan.
so camna nak bawak duit ni...berapa banyak usd cash kena ada?? saya no problem dgn credit card dan debit card ...debitcard maybank ada plus...orang masih guna travelers checks ke??

last time pergi us tahun 2000, sempat melawat wtc..

saya skang ni di virginia untuk kursus selama 4 bulan,

naluri seorang pengembara menjadikan saya nak travel seberapa byk yg boleh...
dalam kursus ni ada 6 states yg diorang akan bawak kami jalan2...
but i want more than that...
saya plan nak travel all free weekend...

which one is more cheaper?
by air or by train?
delta air line kalau book last minit mahal sangat ke?

and sesiapa leh suggest tempat2 menarik on the southern east coast?

Slm...i akan ke DC via LHR mlm ni...would appreciate any advice berkenaan dgn customs n immigration procedures at the US airports. I bawa byk brg2 persendirian n pesanan e.g, sambal kering, ubat, makanan kering (ikan bilis, maggi noodles, asam jawa, etc.)...i sgt risau klo US lagi strict berbanding OZ & NZ when it comes about customs and immi procedues at the entry points....anyone bleh tlg advice on any aspect berkenaan dgn travelling to the US - it would be my first time experience in the US till Nov 2014..t'kasih..

Are u going to land at Dulles airport ?

As soon as you landed - a bus will take you to cbp counter (custom and border protection). follow the sign for visitors/non-residents and line up with others. Mind you - you can wait up to 1 hour or more for your turn being checked by the officer. it depends on how many counter open and the line management.

At the counter - they will question why you want to enter US ? how long you going to be there ? and when are you going to go home ? if they satisfied with your answers - next is checking your visa, taking your photo and checking your fingerprints on both hands. if everything is fine - you are good to go! take your bags and pass another counter - the officer will ask you do you bring any live plant, livestock etc - all the stuff you mentioning in your post you do not need to tell them - it's okay.

The sun here is glaring way too much than Malaysia - please wear sunglasses during the day. other than that - enjoy your visit in DC! you will be fine - don't worry

Tu lah orang Msia macam tak minat pegi US kan, lagi suka pegi UK dan sekitarnya. Tapi bagi aku US macam lagi best dari UK pasal expenses murah lagi, tempat nak lawat pun macam lagi banyak.

bkn xde org nk g US tu..but vnk buat visa hassle....anyway for me naik flight or tren is much better than bus..when u travel to another state...or if u have more than 2 people is much cheaper to rent a car....I like the scenery....penah buat from phily to boston - maine- nova scotia..non stop...hehehe
philly - baltimore - wdc... philly- ohio- michigan...shopping u kena tgk even u pegi outlets....sebb each state has diff tax. cam philly xde tax utk pakaian n kasut...newark new jersey xde tax utk electric product...

bagi saya holiday d US ,lagi  murah dari Europe.. shopping best giler, mkn pun tak la mahal  mcm d Europe ...saya .planning Nov ni akan ke SF-LA-LV-Colorado-Utah ..( 3weeks + driving  )  US$ pun turun so good time travel ke US

salam, nk tanya.. ada sesiapa tau tak travel agent yg buat trip ke us? mcm takde je org buat. nape ek? sy plan nk gi us.. tp langsung tatau mcm mana nk start, dgrnye susah nk dpt visa. kalau ada yg dh berpengalaman gi us, mohon share info & tips right from the start, kecuali bab bli tiket :p
nk gi us utk shopping je & sedikit sight seeing mybe.. kat mana paling sesuai? byk outlets & tax pun tak tinggi... trima ksh yg sudi reply

1. Flight pergi US ni lama sangat. Ada yang 24 jam atau lebih.
2. Harga tiket mahal dari harga ke Eropah.
3. Visa untuk orang muda remeh sikit, sebab diaorang ingat kita nak kerja sana illegally. Kalau yang tua, OK.

Apart from that, travel di US lebih murah dari Europe atau Australia.

Bulan June hari tu, duduk sana sebulan. Travel 11 negeri + DC. Clocked more than 2000 miles. makanan senang cari. motel pun reasonable.

Salam, dulu masa saya ke US ( New York ) saya ada bawak 2 jenis cake sbg buah tangan utk Sedara kat sana. So far ok. Custom kat sana ada tanya, saya ckp cake terus dia ckp ok. Alhamdulillah cake tu Selamat, tak kena buang pun...
New Zealand Dan Australia mmg saya tak bawak apa2 makanan bila ke sana sebab mmg tahu tak leh bawak brg makanan...

New York je ke? rasa macam rugi pulak kalau pergi jauh2, cover NYC je dan tak pergi tempat lain. At least cover the north-eastern seaboard, dari Washington DC hingga ke New England...
