Arsenal's Cesc fancies future Real Madrid move
Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas admits he'd be interested in a future move to Real Madrid.
Reports in Spain suggest Madrid president Ramon Calderon, resigned to missing out on Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo, has prepared a big-money offer for the 21-year-old.
But while Fabregas, a product of the Barcelona youth academy, revealed he could move to Madrid in the future, he insists he wants to stay at the Emirates Stadium for the time being.
"I didn't tell Ramon Calderon no," he told Marca. "I told him that now wasn't the time to go to Madrid.
"That you are wanted by Madrid, one of the biggest teams in history, is important."
And the young star, who feels he would be certain to lift a trophy should he opt for the Spanish champions, admits another season without any silverware could see him head for the exit door.
"To be four seasons without winning any titles would be too much for me," Fabregas added.
"Real Madrid are the favourites to win La Liga this year."

Fabregas has no interest in joining Real - yet
Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas has hinted he is interested in a move to Real Madrid, but poured cold water on the idea he could move to the Bernabeu this summer.
'I didn't tell Ramon Calderon no,' he told Spanish sports daily Marca. 'I told him that now wasn't the time to go to Madrid. That you are wanted by Madrid, one of the biggest teams in history, is important.'
Fabregas enjoyed a great summer as he helped Spain end their 44-year wait for a trophy at Euro 2008.
Domestically, however, for the third year on the trot, the midfielder ended yet another season empty-handed.
And the young star, who feels he would be certain to lift a trophy should he opt for the Spanish champions, admits another season without any silverware could see him head for the exit door.
'To be four seasons without winning any titles would be too much for me,' Fabregas added. 'Real Madrid are the favourites to win La Liga this year.'
Arsenal's trophy-less season was made even more painful as rivals Manchester United swept all before them at home and in Europe.
Fabregas is in no doubt that the man who made the difference for United would be a big success at the Bernabeu.
'The league and the Champions League that United won this season was because of Cristiano,' he continued. 'At Madrid he would help them win titles.'

nampak x yang aku highlight kat atas? MARCA... hahaha, paper ni memang pro real madrid gile babs. walopun diorang nih feymes kat spain n world news, tapi diorang focus on real madrid je. mane ade citer yang buruk2 pasal real madrid... even mase barca belasah real madrid 2 seasons ago, yang ronaldinho score 2 tu kalo xsilap aku, paper lain sume puji barca, marca lak hanya cakap 'real madrid kalah ngan barca'. kire macam paper kat malaysia ni la, publisiti hanya utk selangor. so, segala apa yang kuar dari paper ni leh kate sumenye bukan berita, tapi impian real madrid... |

english player ok je...national team je yang hampeh..n players like lampard, SWP, owen je yang overrated..gerrard is not overrated, beckham is not overrated, carragher is forever will be underrated, carrick is underrated. gareth barry ni baru je orang perasan yang die ni bagus.micheal johnson, micah richards, david bentley, theo walcott ni sume high potential...cume aku risau media uk je yang akan naik2 kan diorang..
kalo dapat micheal johnson ni ok je...tapi xtau la nak letak die kat mane. macam shadow cakap, only way he can get 1st team action is if cesc plays behind d striker n he plays CM in a 4-4-1-1 formation. even then probably he will not get much, coz there's denilson, diaby, ramsey, nasri all vying for place now dat flamini's gone.. so if given the choice, i'd rather take a holding midfielder, gareth barry. |

itu sudah tentu...dalam arsenal season review pun most players cakap diorang xtahan, n believe next season leh menang sumthing.. tapi btul ke fabregas cakap 'for another trophyless season with d gunners'? ni marca yang letak...dun wory...fabregas dah sain contract sampai 2014 bai... tapi kalo die nak blah, i bet it wont be madrid..coz he's a los cules... |
