Rooney, Young aibkan Spurs
2012/03/05
Tiga minit sebelum tamat permainan, Jermain Defoe memperoleh gol saguhati tuan rumah.
Young sekali lagi meledak menerusi tendangan kencang pada minit ke-68 untuk gol ketiga United. |

Player Ratings: Tottenham 1-3 Manchester United
An Ashley Young double help Sir Alex Ferguson's team see off Spurs and move to within two points of leaders Manchester City.
Manchester United
David de Gea 7.0
Enhanced his reputation for wonderfully athletic shot-stopping by making a blinding save from Jake Livermore early in the second half after a fine first-half parry from Adebayor. But his goal kicks were weak and he did not totally command his box.
Patrice Evra 6.0
Troubled by Lennon's pace in the early minutes but settled down and kept a tight leash on the winger.
Phil Jones 6.0
Gutsy, athletic display at right-back but switched off on a few occasions, one of which drew the mother of all ear-bashings from Ferdinand.
Rio Ferdinand 7.0
Made some excellent interceptions as he showed that a sharp mind can still compensate for ailing legs.
Jonny Evans 7.5
Following the horrors of last season, the Irishman's rehabilitation is surely now complete. Once again United's outstanding defender as he negated the threat of Adebayor and Saha by reading the game superbly
Ashley Young Top of the Match 8.0
Got a ticking-off from Scholes early on for failing to read a pass and looked a little lost in the first half on the left wing. But won the match with his contribution either side of the break, setting up Rooney for the United first, volleying in the second and striking brilliantly in the top corner from distance for the third.
Michael Carrick 7.0
Anchored the midfield intelligently and with minimum fuss against his former employers.
Paul Scholes 6.0
A solid hour from the United veteran, if not a particularly vibrant one. Nevertheless, his maturity and nous was key to the visitors keeping cool when Spurs were in control.
Nani 5.5
Virtually anonymous on the right flank for the first hour but grew in influence as United dominated and sent over some menacing crosses.
Wayne Rooney 6.5
Energy, commitment and a fine headed goal by the United talisman, if not a stand-out performance, as he struggled to be involved for long periods.
Danny Welbeck 6.5
Strong and velvet of touch outside of the box but a negligible threat inside it, Welbeck provided an important release ball for United's midfielders.
• Substitutions
Ji-Sung Park N/A
Helped United slow down the game and hold on to their lead for the last 11 minutes after replacing Nani.
Ryan Giggs 6.0
Seamlessly took over from Scholes after an hour as he ensured United did not let their grip on midfield weaken although he will be furious with himself for the careless back-pass that set up Defoe for the Spurs goal. |

Fergie to have full squad
Sir Alex Ferguson expects to have a fully-fit squad on his hands within two weeks.
The Manchester United manager was speaking after seeing his side's latest triumph, a 3-1 success over Tottenham at White Hart Lane.
Brazilian Anderson returned to the bench following a recent knee issue and, with Tom Cleverley and Antonio Valencia due back within a fortnight, United look set to have a fully-fit squad for a vital part of the season.
With other injury victims Chris Smalling and Michael Owen on the brink of a return, Ferguson is brimming at the prospect of having a fully fit playing staff.
"The good thing is I'm getting players back," he told MUTV.
"Anderson is back now, Cleverley will be fit for next week [against West Brom on Sunday] and Chris Smalling will be back for Thursday [against Athletic Bilbao].
"Valencia should be back for the away trip the week after. If we've got a full squad it gives us a better chance [to win the league]."
terbaikkkkk..moga2 semua akan terus sihat sampai end sizen |
