LMH interview
Part 1. Twenty three years old, Lee Min Ho
It wasn't easy to find 'Lee Min Ho-ish in Gu Jun Pyo, with 'curly hair',the leading
man on the fantasy melodrama. But now we are curious of real 'twenty three year old
Lee Min Ho' unmasking Gu Jun Pyo. So we presented him answers option A and B for our
questions in order to guess his disposition. Don't worry much 'cause you are allowed
to answer strange C rarely. Charms can be doubled when found unexpectedly.
VOGUE GIRL(hereinafter referred to as V.G.) You have blood type A. Type A person keeps
social norms, has timidity and a quiet perfectionist. Taking these into consideration, do you have
a blood type A character? Or not?
LMH I don't have blood type A character. First I can't be a perfectionist. I'm not timid.
I don't obey social norm(laughs). And I'm not careful.
V.G. Are you an early bird? Or a night owl?
LMH A night owl. In an oriental medicine hospital they say I can't get strength in daytime.
It's my style. In these days I can be an early bird for my schedule at times.
V.G. What are you, a night owl LMH doing at night?
LMH I used to go out with my friends to eat something delicious or used to play computer
games at home but now it's impossible.
V.G. If you can have half day break will you play outdoor activities like basketball or
soccer? Or play indoor sports?
LMH It depends on my condition. I actually like sports. So if I feel good I can play
basketball or soccer but if my annoying feeling comes out I play computer games or watch
movies. If I have to choose now... I prefer things I can do at home.
V.G. What kind of acting style do you wanna resemble? Like Choi Min Sik style who
melted into his character. Or Song Gang Ho style who makes character into his own color
enviably.
LMH I think half and half? Don't you think my own character smeared out if I try to
melt into a certain character? Even if I think I'm devoted to my character absolutely, my own
figure would appear. Because I'm a human.
V.G. If you have to choose a movie for relieving stress, which one will you choose,
a blockbuster action movie, a mystery crime thriller and a slapstick comedy?
LMH I like mystery or a reversal story but for a stress relieving purpose I choose
blockbuster movie.
V.G. Then what movie did you see recently?
LMH It's been a long time since I haven't seen a movie. <Ssanghwajum> was the last
movie that I saw. I watched it with my manager and stylist. Three of us were only audience.
I planned to see that movie with my manager. It would have been embarrassing if I did.
V.G. What if the role of Jo In Sung at <Ssanghwajum> were offered to you?
LMH Maybe I can't take it right now. I may consider it when time passes long enough
for me to build my career.
V.G. Among the current topic Korean movies which movie would you like to see between
<Bat> by director Park Chan Wook and <Mother> by director Bong Jun Ho?
LMH My, am I all right if I choose just one between these two?(laughs) I think it's <Bat>.
V.G. There are two types of people on close friends' get together. A person who leads
atmosphere with big laugh and making fun. And the other person who smiles well and
showing proper response. Which type do you belong to?
LMH It depends on each situation. I am the former on my middle school and high school
friends' meeting. But once I started acting and have social life I have to be the latter
in some cases. Now I am close to the latter.
V.G. Are you attracted to a girl with Jeon Ji Hyun style, Song Hye Gye style or Kim
Tae Hee style?
LMH I mentioned it several times previously. Song Hye Gyo style.
V.G. Are you dashing to the ideal girl when she is around you? Or making her come
to you by sending secret telepathy?
LMH First I think I will send telepathy. I prefer cautious style in love.
V.G. Which one are you inclined to ? A gathering of buddies in a long time. And
girl friend's urgent call.
LMH If only I have a girl friend whom I can't live without seeing her everyday.
Are we attend friends' get-together normally? Times like these busy days I need and
miss friends' gathering more.
V.G. As for trip alone abroad which do you prefer Tokyo, Japan or Paris, France?
LMH Paris, France. 'Cause I've never been there.
V.G. Do you like rainy days or a sunny days?
LMH A cloudy day before raining. I hate blazing hot days and don't like humid rainy
days. So my favorite season is cool autumn.
V.G. What time do you have a clear state of your brain, at 2am or at 2pm?
LMH I'm a night owl so 2am.
V.G. Who's the most curious singer between Girls Generation and Jang Gi Ha and Faces?
LMH Jang Gi Ha and Faces. They are very attractive. I happened to see the vod and it
caught my eyes.
V.G. Are you inclined to listening to your favorite music for a long months or to check
on new music updates?
LMH I listen to my favorite songs repeatedly but get easily bored. It means I listen to
them until I'm fed up with them. A while ago I have been listening to 'Gee' of Girls
Generation very much. So my answer to your question falls on Jang Gi Ha and Faces.
V.G. What's your choice between white high top shoes and washed colored sneakers?
LMH A washed colored sneakers. Though my fans or neighboring people consider me
wearing white high top shoes.
V.G. In your closet are there many black jeans or blue jeans?
LMH Black jeans. Mostly I wear black, white and grey color costumes including jeans.
V.G. When you imagine a 'nice guy' related to actor's image, is he George Clooney with
fitted suits or Johnny Depp with vintage jean and a hat?
LMH Man is for suit. So George Clooney.
V.G. Which style did you feel 'it fits me well' between Gu Jun Pyo's 'curly hair' and
heavy smoky make-up of Cass Beer cf?
LMH I am interested in a new style like smoky make-up these days though I can't say
it suits me. It was fun experience shooting in that style.
V.G. If you are to watch just one project tonight, which one will you select?
A musical or a play?
LMH I think a play. I couldn't watch plays after 'BOF' shooting. The <Bottom Life>
starred by senior Kim Su Ro was my last watched drama.
V.G. Are you enjoy watching a baseball game or a soccer game?
LMH Soccer game. When I was young I played soccer. Men don't like the opposite
kind of their favorite sports.
V.G. What's your confident item between a 100meter run and a distance run?
LMH 100M run. My strength is very 'weak' and I can't run with indurance.
V.G. On your gag program taste which one do you prefer? 'Ultimate Challenge' a
real variety show and "Gag Concert' an authentic comedy show?
LMH A real variety show. I enjoyed watching 'Survivor' that one man left in an
island winning the race.
V.G. What do you think is the best combination between 'beer with chicken' and
'soju with grilled bacon'?
LMH It's hard(laughs). I prefer beer to soju but I like grilled bacon much better.
So soju with grilled bacon. I don't drink much. My liquid limit is 4 soju cups.
V.G. Which do you prefer between a dazzling electronic guitar sound and an
acoustic guitar play?
LMH An acoustic guitar. I like sweet and faint style.
V.G. What kind of pet do you like between a dog and a cat?
LMH I prefer dogs but I can't spare time for keeping dogs in these busy days.
So it's okay to keep a cat that doesn't feel loneliness.
V.G. When you come across a baby or an animal on the street are you talking
to them or touching them or just passing by?
LMH It depends on the circumstances. Basically when I see a baby I touch
cheek and sole with tenderness.
