Ni yang jeles. Kat sini kalau nak makan masakan Melayu memang kena masak sendiri la. Walau ada restoren melayu tapi tak macam restoren kat msia....

Try buat flan...boleh tahan la jugak, just a little bit sweet for my taste, next time kena kurangkan condense milk. Mat salleh punya resepi memang kuat gula.



Resepi very simple:

1 Can Evaporated milk
1/2 can condensed milk
3 biji telur
1 sudu besar vanilla essence

Heat oven 350 F (175 Celcius). Masukkan semua bahan kat atas dalam blender, blend just until mix. Bake for 45 to 1 hour cara double boiler or bain-marie.

Lepas tu, tuang ler caramel atau anything you like kat atasnya.

Memang kalau ikut resepi banyak yg manis tapi sebenarnya ramai mat saleh yg tak suka makanan yg manis sangat. My sedara melayu yg lagi kuat makan manis tauuu...

Just wanna pamper my hubby on the weekend. So today I made pancake with turkey bacon and beef hotdog.



Sebenarnya Hiro dok terpegun bila pi visit Long kat Houston, dia buat pancake punya lah PERFECT! Sama bulat, sama color...so Hiro pun try gak buat, boleh lah tahan, tapi kena praktis sokmo

Long...hari2 buat pancake untuk anak2 lagi ke? Hiro dok teringat Long tanya, apasal pancake satu ni lain macam je rupanya (yang Hiro letak pisang tu).

Hiro, I tak de rahsia jaga badan. My body ni biasanya cepat naik dan cepat jugak turunnya. Tapi la ni bila umur dah meningkat ada lambat skit nak turun berat badan....

Senang gitu.

Spring chicken (ikut berapa ekor you nah lah) But this resepi for 2 okay, kalau 4 double. Normally man boleh makan the whole chicken, sebab chicken ni cute. Kalau kita sebelah cukup.

2 Spring chicken, kalau froozen, thaw dulu dalam sink. Clean and dry pat with paper towel.
1 cup Honey Kraft BBQ.
1/2  bottle peach marmalade jam
3 tbsp honey
2 tbsp olive oil (vegetable oil pun boleh)
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/ tbsp garlic powder (fresh garlic boleh gak tapi minced dulu)

Lumur kat spring chicken, masukkan dalam ziploc besar or bekas besar, simpan dalam peti ais overnight or few hours before bake.

Panaskan over 350
Masukkan spring chicken dalam bake pan
Tutup dengan aluminum foil dan buat lubang kecik2 kat atas (supaya wap keluar). Masak like this for 1 hour.
Take off the foil, brush the chicken for every 10 minutes with the dripping sauce in the pan for another 40 minutes.

To make gravy from the drip.

Heat the sauce pan.
Put a little bit of oil in the pan, heat.
Put 2 tbsp flour in the oil use whisk to blend it until the flour mix with oil
Pour the drip in the sauce pan
Whisk until boil

Wallaa...siap ...boleh buat mashed potato and broccoli as the sides

Enjoy!!!

Tips: To avoid wing tips brown and burn (hide the tips of the chicken (flap it backward) at the back of the chicken while bake it).

Apa salahnya, I have kawan satu sekolah dok few blocks aje (it just coincidence)...husband dia transfer ke sini dari Georgia, so tup tap tup tap berjiran. Apa lagi, asyik tukar lauk je la kita orang Kat KL lepas sekolah tak pernah jumpa, sampai kat US jumpa balik. Small world.
