REAL MADRID
Casillas 9.5 - Was absolutely outstanding again with two superb stops from open play and his stunning penalty save.
Sergio Ramos 7 - Strong going forward, but had to be covered by Pepe on occasion after failing to track back.
Marcelo 6 - Showed glimpses of attacking promise, but was tormented by the impressive Susaeta on the flank continuously.
Pepe 8.5 - An outstanding performance from the lofty defender and showed Heinze how to handle Llorente on more than one occasion.
Heinze 6.5 - Gave away a penalty and a couple of free-kicks around the area which did not please Casillas.
Guti 8 - Showed a calm head among a crowd of physical Athletic players in midfield and linked the defence and attack very well.
Gago 7.5 - Was Madrid's man to put the boot in and match Athletic for strength, but he did make a couple of clumsy challenges.
Sneijder 7.5 - Would have earned a higher rating had Madrid not sat back and played on the break, because when they went forward he shone.
Robinho 6- His shot did lead to the opening goal, but the Brazilian was notimpressive throughout and it was not surprise to see him go off.
Ra鷏 7 - Did well when given chances and was creative although he was unable to open the Athletic defence for a goal.
Saviola 8 - Very lively on occasions and took his goal well. Could just have earned himself a longer stay at Madrid.
Subs
Robben 7.5 - Came on with great effect to score and his unusual gait caused Athletic a few problems.
Higua韓 7.5 - The Argentinian also scored with a fine finish and was solid in the final minutes.
Drenthe 6 - Did not have enough time to make much of an impression.

Saviola opened the scoring, tapping home a rebound after Robinho had initially aimed a low shot at goal.
It was a fairly agricultural goal, but Saviola went on to put in his best performance for los Merengues - not that there are many to choose from - with his mazy runs causing Athletic all sorts of problems throughout the game.
TheArgentine was signed on a free from bitter rivals Barcelona at the endof the season, but has rarely featured. Unlike fellow out of favourstriker Roberto Soldado, it is hard to say this is a man Bernd Schusterdid not want - indeed, Schuster has confirmed Saviola is the onlysummer signing that he sanctioned - but instead, a combination offantastic form from Ruud van Nistelrooy and Raul along with nigglinginjuries have kept Saviola very much in the background for the majorityof their title-winning campaign.
That said, the title is notofficially won, but holding a 10 point lead over Villarreal, only acouple of points from the final four games are needed to mathematicallysecure back to back Liga titles for Madrid.
"I am very happy for how everything's turned out," said Saviola after the game.
"We are close to winning the title. This league can be ours.
"We now truly depend on ourselves to win. The team is in good form and I think we can make it.
"Iam very happy for myself, for the team and for the fans. We will try towin next week. I am full of joy for having played, scored and won."
Rumourswere strong that Saviola was set to leave the Santiago Bernabeu thissummer, but taking advantage of this opportunity may well have savedhis career with los Blancos for another season, if he can continue it in any of the final four games.
