VIXX’s Hongbin is making a transformation into an actor.
Several broadcast officials revealed to Joy News 24, “Hongbin has been cast in new SBS weekend drama ‘Glorious Day’ [T/N: Tentative title]
New SBS weekend drama ‘Glorious Day’ is about a strong single mother of three who struggles to marry off her daughters to decent son-in-laws. Kim Misook, Hwangwoo Seulhye, Park Seyoung, Lee Sangwoo, Rainbow’s Go Woori, and more have been casted.
In this drama Hongbin will play a mysterious character , whose special features include cold eyes and smile.
Garnered much attention for his superior looks since debut, Hongbin’s transformation for his first acting challenge has gathered anticipation.
The first episode of ‘Glorious Day’ will air on April 5th following the end of ‘Passionate Love’.

VIXX’s Hongbin has widened his domain of activities as an acting-dol.
Hongbin’s agency Jellyfish Entertainment told <SportsSeoul.com>, “Hongbin has been cast in new SBS weekend drama ‘Glorious Day’.”
They said, “He recently auditioned for a drama. The results were good and his participation has been finalized.”
Hongbin will play a fitting model in high school and act alongside with Rainbow’s Go Woori. Hongbin has been studying acting diligently since before debut. Even after debuting, he has worked hard towards his acting during activities as a singer.
VIXX’s Hong Bin has been cast in an upcoming drama A Good Day.
An affiliate of VIXX’s agency told Newsen on March 26, “Hong Bin will be acting in SBS drama A Good Day.”
This will be the VIXX member’s first time acting in a drama, transforming into an ‘acting-dol’ to show a different side of him.
A Good Day is a comical home drama about a single mother who brings up three daughters and strives to marry them off to good men, but in the end, gets married herself.
The drama will also star Lee Sang Woo, Park Se Young, Hwa Woo Seung Hye, Rainbow’s Koh Woo Ri and Jung Man Sik and is set to air on April 5.
VIXX Fans Show Support for N by Setting Up Mini Coffee Shop at ‘Hotel King’ Site
VIXX fans showed their support for N and his new drama.
VIXX N’s fans recently gathered efforts to set up a mini coffee shop named ‘Seven Star Quality Café AmericaNoah’ for the cast and staff members of MBC’s Hotel King. Noah is N’s character in the drama.
The mini coffee shop provided various kinds of coffee along with snacks for everyone at the filming site, brightening up the atmosphere.
N said, “Noah’s popularity exploded thanks to AmericaNoah! Thank you. Thank you so much for allowing the cast and staff members to have an enjoyable moment amidst tough filming.”
Meanwhile, N will be taking the role of ‘Noah,’ a cheery and bright hotel worker, acting alongside Lee Dong Wook and Lee Da Hae.
