There were 7 handshakes between the ground station and the aircraft after the loss of primary radar data. The location rings calculated from the recorded BTO values are shown in figure 4.

The information from the BTO places the aircraft somewhere on each ring at the corresponding time.By taking the maximum speed of the aircraft into account, the rings can be reduced in length to arcs – there are some areas of the rings it simply could not have reached.

Malaysia, UK satellite firm release data on missing flight, say families.
Malaysia's Department of Civil Aviation and British satellite firm Inmarsat today released the data used to determine the path of missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, following mounting calls from passengers' relatives for greater transparency.
Relatives of passengers on the missing flight said they had received the data report compiled by Inmarsat and Malaysian officials and they published it on their Facebook page.
The data communications log comprises 14 pieces of data from seven "handshakes," or pairs of numbers, between the aircraft and the satellite, Inmarsat said last week. One number is time information, the other is frequency.
The Boeing 777 with 239 passengers and crew disappeared on March 8 during a scheduled service between Kuala Lumpur and Beijing, and is believed to have gone down in the Indian Ocean, off western Australia. – Reuters, May 27, 2014.

SYDNEY: Kawasan Lautan Hindi di mana isyarat akustik dikesan dan pencarian dasar laut dilakukan, hari ini disytihar sebagai bukan lokasi pesawat MH370 berakhir.
Pusat Penyelaras Koordinasi Agensi Bersama Australia (JACC) menyatakan berdasarkan rumusan profesionalnya, "kawasan itu boleh ditolak sebagai tempat berakhirnya MH370”.

Australia still confident MH370 in southern Indian Ocean.
Australia's deputy prime minister said officials remained confident that missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 is somewhere in the southern Indian Ocean despite searchers saying wreckage was not on the seabed in the area they had identified.
The search was narrowed last month after a series of acoustic pings thought to be from the plane's black box recorders were heard near where analysis of satellite data put its last location, some 1,600km off the northwest coast of Australia.
"We concentrated the search in that area because the pings were the best information available at the time," Warren Truss, who is also the transport minister, told the Australian parliament today in a report by Reuters.

yg pasal navy vietnam kata jumpa mh370 tu awal2 ilang tu ada brader kapak tu boh gmbr dlm blog dia dlm article grand finale tu..tweet yahoo singapore kot yg release news kata navy vietnam has confirmed that MH370 has crashed into the ocean..n the news was just 4 hours after the plane announced dissapeared..
but then, vietnam tarik balik kenyataan tu rasanya..
