if you posting in here - can you try to refrain typing
using 'la'  or   '  like that arrrr'    because to be fluent in the language
you have to learn to speak and write it in correct way ...

if i remember correctly.. the word 'lah' already added in vocabulary... correct me if i wrong

Guys.. would you please help me?

I tried to search the english word for "ayam pencen"
Normally what we've is "baby chicken" right, what about "ayam pencen", is there any English words?

There are organic eggs, organic chickens, organic meat and so forth but except for "ayam pencen" I couldn't find ones.

when the term "ayam pencen" was translated to "old chicken"

i've been looking for the word 'lah' in my dictionary and in thesaurus
but i couldn't find it -
the word 'la' yes - but it means differently
from the from malay slang though (lah)
cuz 'la' there means the music -  la -
as in -   do re me fa so la ti do -

however, i might be overlooked -
and it would be a great help if you can help me and
post the meaning of 'lah' that is stated in your dictionary -
everybody here can learn too --

you could be right -

thanks

hahaha..
u can't wait, eh

if it is in the dictionary, there's no reason why you can't use it, though -
go ahead - make my day    (with clint eastwood tone of voice   )

btw
the correct response should be:

is that word really in the dictionary?

or
is it in the dictionary? really??  << more  shocking expression :

thread
omit 'always' because you mentioned everyday already -
omit 'my'
it is quite hard for me to write / post in here

*ah, if only you have internet at home as well -
but not too worries - please just come in and post
whenever you have free time
when you visit cyber cafe or wherever you can get online -
can u tell me how the suitable way to me to improve english
...
can you tell me how the easiest way to improve my english

*there's no easy or difficult or suitable ways to improve our english -
but what we can always try this : -

- speak the language as often as we can with our friends, teachers, sisters
(in the family) - do not concern about the grammatically errors and pronunciation just yet

- read an  english newspapers such as the star, nst, malay mail

- read an english books -  any book  - start with a thin book and a simple story book -

- try to get a copy of reader's digest -  or buy them at the book store - RM15 each
this is a very good magazine - it uses simple english; it has some vocabulary words
to be learned in each month -  very convenient to bring with you anywhere cuz of the size -

- post in here as often as you can - and we can help each other

oh, and mickey ---
you can read this thread as well - i opened it for some discussion re: graduates
can't speak english fluently and reasons behind it -

for your information...
right now, i'm looking for job...
that why i'm really want to speak fluenly in english..

that's
omit am  ( i really want)
fluently

what kind of job are you looking for?
you can take a look at the recruitment ads in the sticky post up there
in this board
i think that's very wise of you to want to speak english fluently
cuz it will make it easier to find a job - cuz most of the jobs nowadays
need a candidate who can speak well in english

all the best ! -

express myself well in my interview -

mara,
i am not so sure how to teach you that
however, having interviewed hundred of candidates
for a suitable jobs and whatnot  - perhaps i can give
few tips on how to express yourself well during your interview -

-  during an interview - look at the interviewers face when you're
answering the questions

- answer the questions with confidence and with a touch of friendly
face ( a bit and there with a touch of sweet face (smiles) - meaning  not
with sour face or  worried face)

- speak clearly  -  and avoid hesitation such as - errr  hmmm errr  aaaaa
answer only when you already composed the thoughts  rather than answer
while you still want to gather the thoughts -

- when you not sure about the question - ASK
i.e:  excuse me, can you please repeat the question?
or  - can you explain again what did you mean by .... such and such -   ?

perhaps - other forumers also can give some of the views in this -

thanks -
