FT Island’s Lee Hongki returns to acting after a break of 5 years.
Lee Hongki makes a comeback in the new SBS Wed-Thu drama “You’re Beautiful“. He has been casted previously in KBS 2TV children drama “Magic Kid Masuri” in 2002, EBS drama “There’s Light Left At The Tip Of My Fingernails” in 2004 and “Kkangsooni” in 2005. Thereafter, he started his singing career with FT Island.
In “You’re Beautiful“, Lee Hongki plays the role of Jeremy, a bright and cheerful British-Korean. Being a happy-go-lucky person, Jeremy is one who helps to bond the members of A.N.JELL together. He could be random at times but when he flashes his lovely smile, all was forgiven.
Lee Hongki suits the role of Jeremy very well. Jeremy is foolish yet adorable, and together with his natural bright smile, it matches Lee Hongki perfectly. The 5 years of break doesn’t seem to him as a big gap and he also picked a character that suits him well.
With the drama’s first airing date approaching, Lee Hongki revealed that, “All the staff members are working hard for the filming without getting any sleep.” He continued, “I will gather with the members to watch so everyone please show your support too.”
Viewers also responded positively, “I couldn’t stop smiling as I watch. Hongki-goon is so cute”, “It’s not very childish and was much better than I expected”, “I thought it wouldn’t be interesting but he was really cute”, “I can’t take my eyes off his cute smile”.
On the other hand, according to TNS Media Korea, the first episode of “You’re Beautiful” obtained a viewer rating of 10.8% nationwide. Though the drama received both positive and negative feedback, just like other dramas produced by the Hong sisters (Hong Jungeun and Hong Miran), this drama will likely be a success.

kalau tgk bts, hk makan aiskim tu sampai terkena baju..tensen jer coordi noona tu dok lap baju dia..sampai tgn2 dia sekali coordi noona lapkan..
