okay dah tanam dah... guna peat moss + a bit of perlite - curi skit dari my vanilla plant potting mix. nanti I'll post the pics.

Athene, kalau dah rot mcmtu, better potong skit kat bahagian bawah n atas tu, then baru tanam kalau dah adabahagian yng reput kat bawah tu, takut akar dah tak bole keluar..

moknik, ameliepoulein, NG, mas.  Kak sheila punye, belum sempat pos lagi.. huhu..

Alrite, sebelum bungkus dengan plastik, pastikan sphagnum moss tu betul2 lembap, then baru bungkus.  Bila dah bungkus dengan plastik, spray sikit dengan air dari atas, then baru ikat plastik tu.  Then, tak payah siram lagi just tunggu pucuknya tumbuh..
memang perkara biasa, pagi2 tgk plastik tu mcm berwap dari dalam.. biarkan aje.  Trick supaya pokok periuk kera ni keluar pucuk ialah dengan provide dia with high humidity

Alrite. but make sure tanah dari mana-mana pasu tak termasuk dalam pots utk neps.. neps are sensitive to nutriens. They thrive very well WITHOUT nutrients..

1. Prepare potting mix, like I said, curi some perlite from my vanilla plant. Wet the mix guna bottom watering technique.



2. Celup cutting dalam rooting powder, shake off excess, like what David from Pet Pitcher  advised.


3. Nephentes xVentrata cutting in the potting mix.


4. Move to a well lit position.



5. Bagged & labeled. Stow away until ofshoot comes out.

btw, she was my aunt, the perfect mother to 6 children who are all well brought up & well educated. Just when they are able to start paying back for her hardship in raising them, to give her a better life, one she's never had before, she returns to her Maker.

She got to fullfill her dreams of caring for her father for more than a month, of seeing her 1st grandchild and seeing all her children successful. The saddest part is that she passed away on Mother's Day.
