tadi i check airasia website......boleh dapat FREE FLIGHT....airport tax about $70 i think..

the first taxi yang i naik...the driver was a very nice family man.he assured me things are ok in batam.

kat batam centre ada matahari and also a hypermarket.i like it here,kat sini banyak fast food,my kids love the A & W root beer.

taxi from batam centre to nagoya is around 40,000 rupiah.kat nagoya ada lagi satu matahari.around the area ada banyak shopping.i love the nasi padang here,tapi  mahal sikit leh.

now ada sale 50% on some item kat matahari.to me  it's worth the bargain...

Seperti kota-kota besar lain di Indonesia, Surabaya besar, sibuk, bising dan berhabuk.

Bagaimanapun, semua itu tidak menjejas daya tarikan kota kedua terbesar di Jawa Timur, Indonesia ini yang sentiasa sibuk dengan sekitar tiga juta penduduknya.

Ini kerana dari Surabaya, pelawat boleh ke pelbagai tempat menarik di Jawa Timur seperti Gunung Bromo, salah satu destinasi pelancong popular di Indonesia.

Gunung ini juga dikenali dengan nama Tengger Caldera, sebuah gunung berapi aktif setinggi 2,329 meter.

Saya teringat betapa seronoknya menaiki gunung itu, mulanya dengan bas pelancong yang besar dari kaki gunung, kemudian jip di pertengahan jalan, dan kemudian kuda-kuda kurus di kawasan datar gunung hingga hampir ke kawah gunung berapi.

Ketika itu, tidak pernah terlintas di fikiran saya bahawa gunung itu boleh meledak seperti pada Jun tahun lalu sehingga meragut nyawa seorang pelancong Singapura.

Mungkin ramai daripada anda ingin mengetahui dari manakah asal-usul nama Surabaya.

Sebenarnya, cerita di sebalik nama Surabaya, sebuah kota pelabuhan (pelabuhannya diberi nama Tanjung Perak) di muara Sungai Kali ini, juga menarik.

Ia diambil daripada perkataan 'sura' yang bermakna ikan jerung, dan 'baya' yang bermaksud buaya.

Menurut legendanya, kedua-dua ikan jerung dan buaya itu telah bergaduh kerana masing-masing berebut untuk mendapatkan gelaran sebagai 'binatang paling kuat dan paling berkuasa' di daerah itu.

Kini, kedua-dua binatang berkenaan digunakan sebagai logo Surabaya. Ia juga menjadi tugu peringatan di kota itu.

Bagi kebanyakan orang kita, mereka biasanya mengunjungi tanah Jawa jika ada saudara-mara yang tinggal di sana.

Namun, untuk yang setakat ingin bersantai menggunakan cuti yang ada bersama keluarga, bermacam-macam boleh dilakukan di kota indah ini.

Anda boleh menjamu selera, membeli-belah dan bersiar-siar.

Antara makanan menarik di Surabaya ialah sate susu iaitu sate lembu yang dagingnya cukup empuk dan lembut dan berperisa seperti susu. Ia dimakan dengan sos lada yang pedas.

Membeli-belah juga pasti menjadi satu pengalaman menyeronokkan terutama jika anda penggemar barang-barang kemas dan kraf tangan seperti kain batik dan kain sulaman, lampu-lampu yang diperbuat daripada loyang atau brass dan perabot-perabot kayu jati.

Untuk mencuci mata dan menambah pengetahuan, lawati pula kawasan penduduk orang Arab yang menjual kain seperti kain sutera, sari dan batik.

Anda juga boleh ke Joko Dolog untuk melihat patung 'budak gemuk' yang dikatakan melindungi kota itu daripada sumpahan agar ia tidak jatuh miskin.

Taman Haiwan Surabaya juga menarik kerana ia merupakan yang pertama di dunia yang berjaya membiak orang-orang utan dalam peliharaan.

Kemudian anda boleh mengunjungi Masjid Sunan Ampel.

Sunan Ampel ialah salah seorang daripada sembilan wali (wali songo) yang mula membawa Islam ke Jawa dalam abad ke-15.

Untuk kanak-kanak pula, terdapat sebuah taman permainan menarik dan dinamakan Taman Prestasi. Taman ini dibuka setiap hari dari 6 pagi hingga 9 malam.

Kini, mengunjungi Surabaya amat mudah kerana ada penerbangan langsung ke sana dari Singapura.

Surabaya cuaca nye panas berbanding ngan S'pore, kalau ke Surabaya tempat shoppingnya ialah Tunjungan Plaza, sebuah shopping mall yang besar sekali kerana ada pecahan Tunjungan Plaza 1- 4 kelamarin yang Sq sempat perasaan, kat sini lantai paling atas sekali ada food court dan makan macam-macam leh didapati, selain Tunjungan Plaza boleh ke Surabaya Plaza tapi kalau nak shopping with a bargin leh try kawasan Sunan Ampel, kat sini busana Muslim & Muslimah nye harga leh tahan.

last time i went to jakarta...the taxi fare was 50,000 rupiah from batam centre.

i asked the guys,kalo stop taxi on the road...price sama tak ? he said sama price 40,000

the mega mall yang ada matahari....is good...would love to go there again.
the place is spotless clean.
