Exclusive - Esha , Shamita Join Anubhav´s ´Cash´ ; Shooting To Commence From April 13

Director Anubhav Sinha will start his next thriller after 'Dus' , 'Cash' from next week at Film City Bombay ( and not from June , as publicised ).The shooting will commence on April 13 and end on April 16 and all the lead actors's including Ajay Devgan , Zayed Khan , Riteish Deshmukh , Esha Deol and Shamita Shetty( yet to be finalised) are expected to participate .

When we caught up with Anubhav and Anish Ranjan ('Dansh') , managing director , 7even Entertainment (earlier this week) , they gave us the exclusive details .

Anubhav also informed yours truly that the venue will in all probablilties shift to South Africa in August and the shooting part of 'Cash' will be over and done with before the year ends .

Govinda safety to be reviewed

Even as film actor and Congress MP Govinda has so far not formally lodged a complaint with the Mumbai Police about receiving threat calls from underworld, the Centre on Monday discussed the matter and asked the state to review the security cover to him.

The matter was discussed at the home ministry where officials are learnt to have scrutinised the details of the threat calls to Govinda. The discussions were held on the basis of information passed on to home minister Shivraj Patil.

Without disclosing the exact nature of the threats and the identity of the caller, a senior home ministry official said though Govinda currently enjoys 'X' category police security, which comprises round-the-clock armed cover, the state has been asked to review it further in view of the threat perception to the MP in the wake of the phone calls.

The official said the concerned authorities in the home department of Maharashtra government had also been provided with all the details.

They would take appropriate action and the Centre would continue to be in touch with them in terms of sharing intelligence, he added.

Instead of reporting the matter to the police, Govinda told reporters in Mumbai about receiving threats from the underworld last week. He had, however, remained silent about the nature of the threats and the identity of the caller.

Madhuri抯 comeback film to be shot in US!

Speculation over Madhuri's comeback gained momentum after she performed in a recent awards function in Mumbai. Madhuri, who presently in the tinsel town along with her two sons for a longish holiday, also said she wants to comeback but one condition - the film to be shot entirely in US.

And here's a good news for Madhuri's fans, Yash Chopra's production house Yash Raj films has come ahead and agreed to shoot major portion of the film in US but one condition - Madhuri will have to act in this film. The film's title and cast are not finalized yet.

As per latest, Madhuri who visited Kolkata recently for some personal business confirmed the news.

Aamir is not keen to pair up with Ash!

When Hollywood star Will Smith wants her at any cost to play in his film, Bollywood's perfectionist hero Aamir Khan rejects her easily. Yes we are talking about Bollywood queen Aishwarya Rai, who was supposed to play in Mani Ratnam's next opposite Aamir, as per buzz even Mani Ratnam wanted her in the role, but much to surprise Aamir recommended Tamil heroine namely Asin.

Incidentally, the film Aamir will do is a remake of Tamil film 'Ghajini' by A.R. Murugadoss. However it will be in Hindi and in Tamil as well. And the original director A.R. Murugadoss will be directing this movie along with director Mani Ratnam.

Aamir already has said to director Murugadoos that he has no problem to have Asin as his heroine. Incidentally Asin was the heroine of original 'Ghajini', she had played Kalpana in the film, and report says Aamir is so impressed by her strong performance.

Kareena, Shahid in a soup!

Okay, so Fida didn't make them a hot pair onscreen. But Shahid Kapoor and his beau are getting a second chance in Subhash Ghai's production, 36 China Town.
The film, a thriller, is directed by Abbas-Mustan, fresh from the success of Aitraaz.

Akshaye Khanna completes the lead cast.

36 China Town is set in Bangkok, and is about Kareena (Priya) and Shahid (Raj) trying to make a living in that country.
They stumble upon a missing child and a murder, which puts the police (led by Akshaye Khanna's character) on their trail.

Interestingly, Shahid made his debut with Mukta Arts in a blink-and-miss role in Taal, much before he got lucky with Ishq Vishk.

Akshaye Khanna hasn't been seen onscreen for a while. His last release, Hulchul, was out way back in 2004.
Now, he's back with a vengence.

Apart from 36 China Town, slated to release in May, the star can be seen in this Friday's release, Shaadi Se Pehle.

Model Upen Patel -- best known as Amrita Arora's ex-boyfriend -- also makes his debut in 36 China Town.
The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Isha Koppikar and Payal Rohatgi.

Will 36 China Town do as well as Mukta Arts' previous efforts like Aitraaz and Iqbal? We're waiting to find out.

No activity for Saif in next three weeks!

Saif Ali Khan, who underwent an emergency surgery for appendicitis at Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, recently, is now fine.

To recall, Saif Ali complained of sever abdominal pain on last Thursday while shooting a commercial there in Kuala Lumpur, after which he was admitted to a local hospital and was operated on.

Though the actor's recovering rate is very well, but the doctors treating him has advised to avoid strenuous activity for next three weeks.

The shooting of Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Othello', in which Saif playing a pivotal role, has been however affected due to the actor's sudden illness. As per source, Bhardwaj, who recently visited ill Saif in his Mumbai residence, has assured Saif not to get worried about the loss, for which he is not responsible. He will shoot Saif's remaining portion in Mumbai, whenever possible, sources said.
