Tiger Airways starts flights to Australia

Singapore, 09 November 2005. Tiger Airways, Singapore抯 low fare airline, will start flying the Singapore - Darwin, Australia route from Monday, 19 December 2005 (subject to government approvals). There will be four flights per week.

揥e are excited to launch new low fare flights to yet another country in the Asia-Pacific region, making Tiger Airways the fastest growing low fare airline in the region. We are delighted to work with the Northern Territory Tourist Commission and Darwin International Airport to promote Darwin as the low cost Gateway to Australia. There is strong demand for affordable flights to Australia from Asia. Savvy travelers can now fly to Darwin from Singapore at great value-for-money fares! At the same time, Australian travelers from Darwin and the Northern Territory will have the same affordable option to fly to Singapore and other destinations served by Tiger Airways,

Big bang for your buck to Bali and Bangalore
Jetstar Asia
Jetstar Asia and Valuair will commence a new five-times-weekly service to Bangalore and a three-times-weekly service to Bali in January. In launching the flights, the airlines announced celebratory special fares of $98 for one-way travel to Bangalore and $99 for a return ticket to Bali for a short one-week only sales period. The fares will be available for bookings made from December 13th - 19th for travel completed by March 25th, 2006.

Jetstar Asia will fly to Bangalore on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday starting from January 23rd. Departing Singapore at 1:05 am, Flight 3K 573 will touch down at Bangalore's International Airport at 2:45 am. The return flight, 3K 574, will depart from Bangalore at 3:35 am, arriving in Singapore at 10:25 am. Every day low fares to Bangalore after the launch period will start from S$228 for a one-way ticket.

Valuair will service Bali on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday from January 27. VF 541 will depart Singapore at 3:15pm arriving in Denpasar at 5:55pm. The return leg will be VF 542 and will depart Denpasar at 6:45pm, arriving in Singapore at 9:30pm. Every day fares to Bali after the launch period will start from S$ 199 for a return flight.

"I'm delighted that with Bali and Bangalore we've secured two fantastic destinations for our passengers," said Mr Neil Thompson, Acting CEO of Jetstar Asia and Valuair.

"Bangalore has been growing phenomenally over recent years and while airlines have flocked to fill passenger demand, the costs of flying have been very high. We're seeking to focus on building up the SME market traveling between Singapore and Bangalore by being the only value for money airline operating between the two cities," said Mr Thompson.

"Bali is an equally important destination for us. I've always been amazed that so many people have such a personal affinity with Bali that they're compelled to return again and again, yet they've not had the benefit of low airfares. With Valuair we're going to change the playing field to make Bali a destination that will enable travelers to keep their strong attachment to this beautiful island on a more regular basis."

Bookings for Bangalore can be made via the Jetstar Asia website at www.JetstarAsia.com, through the call centre at 6822 2288 or An-An Travel (6538 2528), Jetabout Holidays (6734 1818) and Maple Aviation (6538 5515).

For travelers to Bali, tickets can be purchased via the website at www.valuair.com, the call centre at 6229 8338 or via major travel agents.

SINGAPORE, 28 November 2005
A big 1 year old with small fares
Jetstar Asia
Jetstar Asia is celebrating its first birthday by putting a huge squeeze on the cost of airfares across all nine routes. The birthday discounts will be available for booking from today through to the first anniversary of the airline on December 13th. Tickets to Bangkok and the resort island of Phuket will go for as cheap as S$18.

Jetstar Asia will celebrate its first birthday having completed over 4000 flights in the past year. And with the ambition to provide even more routes and greater frequency in 2006, Jetstar Asia just took delivery of its fifth A320 plane. Together with it's sister airline, Valuair, the total fleet size is nine aircraft, giving JetstarAsia the most comprehensive reach of any value-for-money carrier flying from Singapore.

All trips taking advantage of the 1st Birthday Celebration Discounts must be completed between January 4th and June 30th 2006. Passengers can purchase the 1st Birthday Discounts via the Jetstar Asia website at www.JetstarAsia.com, through the call centre at 6822 2288 or An-An Travel (6538 2528), Jetabout Holidays (6734 1818) and Maple Aviation (6538 5515).

Fares to Jetstar Asia destinations for the 1st Birthday Celebrations will be as follows:

Phuket: S$18
Bangkok: S$18
Hong Kong: S$68
Taipei: S$88
Manila: S$98
Kolkata: S$98
Siem Reap: $138
Phom Penh: $138
Yangon: S$208 (return)
Thanks to the people of Singapore Jetstar Asia has had a fantastic first year. What better way to return the favour to our passengers' for their patronage over the year, than to make deep cuts into our fares. It's a great deal for anyone who wants to take advantage of going to their favourite holiday venue, or trying something new and out of the ordinary," said Mr. Ken Ryan.

Even though we've been able to cut our fares, we won't be cutting any of service. This includes new aircraft, allocated leather seats and a generous 20kg in luggage. We know this is very important to our passengers," said Mr Ryan.

Passengers can take advantage of the 1st Birthday Discounts via the Jetstar Asia website at www.JetstarAsia.com, through the call centre at 6822 2288 or An-An Travel (6538 2528), Jetabout Holidays (6734 1818) and Maple Aviation (6538 5515).
