11.6-inch Fusion notebook
Following the trail of AMD's official launch of Fusion platform, HP has rolled out its Pavilion dm1 notebook, a 11.6-incher featuring Brazos 1.6GHz E-350 dual-core APU.
Packed in a quite stylish 1-inch thick chassis the Pavilion dm1 features a 11.6-inch 1366x768 BrightView display, up to 750GB of HDD space, 3GB of memory (and support for up to 8GB), three USB ports, HDMI and Dsub outputs, webcam, and Ethernet port. The E-350 APU features Radeon HD 6310M graphics and the notebook comes with a 6-cell 55WHr battery that, according to HP, is enough for 9 hours and 30 minutes of work time.
The base model should retail at around US $449 and should be available pretty soon. |

AMD E-350 in a stylish package
Zotac has announced a rather interesting media PC based on AMD's new Fusion APU.
The Zotac Zbox Blu-ray AD03 packs an E-350 APU with DirectX 11 capable HD 6310 graphics and a few other interesting goodies.
In addition to Blu-ray, the new Zbox packs HDMI output, Dolby TrueDH and DTS-HD Master Audio support, as well as eSATA and WiFi connectivity. This makes it a very interesting choice for consumers who take home entertainment seriously.
The slim and rather stylish chassis features a 2.5-inch drive bay and two DDR3 slots. Zotac will offer the new Zbox as a barebone or as a 'Plus' version, a pre-installed 250GB hard drive and 2GB of DDR3.

With Brazos-based motherboard
Joining in the AMD's Fusion era, Sapphire has announced its latest Pure series motherboard, the mini-ITX Pure Fusion Mini E350.
Based on the Hudson-M1 chipset, the motherboard features AMD's E-350 dual-core APU clocked at 1.6GHz. Of course, the E-350 comes with Radeon HD 6310 graphics while the rest of the motherboard features include two DDR3-1066 SO-DIMM slots, a PCI-Express x16 slot, total of five SATA 6.0Gbps ports, two USB 3.0 ports and a couple of USB 2.0 ones, eSATA port, D-Sub, DVI and HDMI outputs, integrated 7.1-channel audio, Gigabit LAN and Bluetooth 2.1.
It certainly looks like an appealing little mini-ITX motherboard ready for some HTPC fun and hopefully we'll see a lot of those pretty soon. Unfortunately, the price hasn't been announced.
