[News - Trans] ‘Hwanhee Boys’ MYNAME “We can’t use handphones until we get #1”
‘Hwanhee Boys’ MYNAME(Seyong·Insoo·JunQ·Chaejin·Gunwoo) have safely made in the entertainment industry.
They released their latest single ‘Message’ which matches their individuality, and they have been receiving attention for their synchronisation and perfect live abilities. Coming out in the midst of all the idol groups, they have also been acknowledged as the ‘team which shows personality’. Before their successful debut, there was singer Hwanhee, who is a senior in from the same agency. Without a doubt he directed their whole album, and he even meticulously helped in their debut from the styling to choreography. Even on the morning of his enlistment into the army, he visited them in the practice room to give advice not as a senior, but as a brother. That’s how fond he is of them.
MYNAME said “As much as we are known as the idols who Hwanhee sunbae raised, we also feel very pressured by it. We will work hard so that we can give strength to our big brother who is serving the military.”
-Debuting on the day of Hwanhee’s enlistment.
“We were recording together up till the morning of his enlistment instead of a farewell party. We wanted to follow him all the way to Nonsan training center, but he stopped us, telling us to practice as our debut is right under our noses. Since we are knwon as ‘Hwanhee Boys’, we will work hard in order not to embarrass hyung.”
-What you learned from Hwanhee.
“We think he is the best vocalist. He personally overlooked all the directing, and was especially detailed in the vocal parts. He even gives us a lot of advise. One that is memorable is ‘Always be humble, and thinking you will do well is dangerous. But do not lose out to anything.’”
-What is the meaning of MYNAME.
“It means ‘To give our all in the entertainment industry with our name’. We discussed this for a long time, and came up with embarrassing names such as FBI and Nuclear, before we settled on this one. Haha.”
-Title song ‘Message’.
“It’s a song about the messed up emotions of a person who sent a text message to his loved one, and is awaiting a reply. The highlight in the lyrics is the part that goes ‘Don’t ignore my message, please don’t ignore my message’. Lately while using Kakaotalk, you definitely get notifications, so there aren’t many times you don’t receive a message. It’s a song that youngsters can relate to. The beat is strong and the dance is dynamic. We even prepared a significant part in the choreography which you can remember even if you watch it only once.”
-We heard your handphones were confiscated.
“The company representative kept them and said we could have them back if we get #1. The leader holds onto the group’s phone which only has our parents’ numbers and the company’s number. We use it only when we really need to, so there is no big inconvenience. We also deleted out minihompy early. All of us were obedient students, so there was nothing much to delete.”
-There are no discomforts living together.
“Our dorm is in Itaewon. It’s difficult to clean up, we regularly clean up so that every member is in charge of an area. If someone makes a mess in an area, he gets a penalty which is different each time. In the summer, we shoot ice-cream. They gave us a credit card at the agency at night to buy them to eat.”
-The senior you want to resemble.
“2PM is my goal. I first met the hyungs while I was training at JYP. While training, I had a sudden greed for acting, so I left the company and had to say goodbye to them. But I saw how they were on stage when I went for the 2PM concert, so I wanted to sing again. That’s the reason I got into MYNAME.”(Seyong)

The members then answered questions that the fans wrote before the fanmeet. The first question was about their sleeping habits. Seyong sleeps while sucking his thumb. A fan then shouted “I’ll give you my thumb!”, and all the members were shocked at the deep voice. Chaejin’s sleeping habit is sleep talking. Seyong once asked him where Chaejin left his wallet, and he replied “It’s in a wifi zone.”The members were talking about their feelings for the fanmeeting, like how they are nervous and such. Seyong was talking about how he has attended a few seniors’ fanmeeting, and he told himself that he wanted to do it someday.Then the members tried to act out certain scenarios and learn to deal with difficult requests from fans. Seyong became the fan, and asked Insoo for a kiss, which Insoo declined. Then he asked JunQ for a hug. Lastly, he asked Chaejin to show him a movie, and hit him when Chaejin asked “Why are you being like that?”
Then Seyong asked for a request and Gunwoo asked him to show his abs, to which Seyong replied that his abs belong to everyone.
10 minutes before going on stage, Gunwoo was seen looking for something. JunQ lost Gunwoo’s iPod, and Gunwoo was angry and made him look for it. They all decided to put all those feelings behind and go on stage to greet the fans with a happy aura.
The members did their introductions. The MC said that they were really quiet. Then Insoo explained the situation before going up on stage and Gunwoo suddenly exited the stage. The manager then called them off the stage and lectured them about putting their feelings behind and dealing with the issue after the fanmeeting has ended.
The members then went back on stage and Insoo revealed that is was a hidden camera prank. Seyong got really angry and walked off stage. Gunwoo followed him and tried talking to him. He came back and said Seyong would be back soon. What the members didn’t know was that Seyong knew about the hidden camera the whole time, and was planning another hidden camera on the rest of the members on top of that. So he came back on stage as a cameraman and revealed the second hidden camera prank.
The fans who were also affected by the hidden camera asked the members to do “bbuing bbuing” in exchange for forgiveness.This episode was about the fansign and fanmeeting in celebration of Seyong’s birthday
The members were then asked
who they would marry among the other members if they were born as girls. Gunwoo chose Insoo, Chaejin chose Gunwoo, Seyong said he would marry the fans, Insoo would marry Chaejin because he has seen everything, and JunQ would also marry the fans.

Then the fans and the members had a video message for Seyong to congratulate him on his birthday, and they came out holding a cake.
Then there was a quiz where the fans could win personal items from the members. The first question was the name of the MTV reality show that MYNAME are currently filming. The fan won JunQ’s jacket. The second question was how many times the word ‘message’ appears in the song. The correct answer is 16, and the fan got a hug from Seyong as well.
The members then performed their title track Message and signed albums for the fans. Summary: MYNAMESGPlease take out with FULL CREDITS!
Episode 5 will show the MYANME members going on their first camping trip through the writers' chance. They are receiving attention as talented rookie idols but members Seyong and Chaejin were caught in a big scam in an unexpected situation.
For the first time in their lives being in a camping car, the MYNAME members held a somewhat crazy ‘Camping car Olympic 3 stage match’, where they are divided into teams and shop for the dinner menu. But their shopping mission immediately ended in a twist, where they were caught in a big fraud.
The story of Insoo and Gunwoo, the generous and patient hyungs as well as the devils hidden in the angelic faces of Seyong and Chaejin who have a strong will to win will be revealed. Also, they will reveal the best visual idol MYANME's different image.
Catch the charms of Insoo can't stop laughing, and the somewhat meek maknae Chaejin keeps smiling at the big accident on 'Ta-Dah! : It's MYNAME' Episode 5 on 3rd December, Saturday at 3.30pm.

Mula-mula macam taknak amik pot kat group ni. tapi lepas dengar lagu n tengok MV diorg, terus je lekat lagu tu dalam kepala ni. huhuhuh.... smpai sakit hati aku sebab aku tak plak ingat nak nyanyi lagu dari fevret group aku. huhuhu...
anyway, diorg memang nyanyi ngan OK. MV pun gempak gak lah. diorg nyer performance pun OK. utk naik tu memang kene usaha kuat lah. Bnyak sgt male group yg baru tumbuh macam cendawan lepas hujan ni. yg penting lagu Message tu ada dalam Hard disk simpanan aku.
