China Draws up Drama-Based 'Weird Korean Customs' List
![](http://english.chosun.com/media/photo/news/200609/200609180026_00.jpg)
Chinese fans of Korean soap operas were baffled to see Koreans use both spoons and chopsticks to eat, but not as surprised as when they saw women pull each other's hair during fights and managers strike their subordinates on the back of the head. Other notable features of Korean society for the Chinese couch potatoes are the vast difference in treatment meted out to rich and poor here and the number of marriages of convenience. In all, the China Finance Information Network drew up 80 strange Korean customs as gleaned from TV dramas. Here are 12 of them:
1. When Koreans lift their glass to drink any alcoholic beverage with someone senior, they always turn to one side.
2. If a Korean's glass is empty they pass the bottle to the person sitting with them. (In Korean culture it is frowned upon to pour yourself a glass; the proper etiquette is pouring for each other.)
3. Koreans are already putting the next bite of food in their mouths before they finished chewing the last bit.
4. Koreans use chopsticks for the side dishes but spoons for rice and soup.
5. If a Koreans suffer indigestion after meals, they treat it by pricking their fingers with needles. (This is an old folk remedy.)
![](http://english.chosun.com/media/photo/news/200609/200609180026_01.jpg)
6. Elderly Koreans often say, "Now that I've reached old age, I see every eyesore." (read: "My goodness, times have changed," "Where's the world heading?" etc.)
7. Korean women often resort to hair-pulling when fighting.
8. When someone hits a subordinate, it is always on the head, and most often across the back of the head.
9. The wealthy have contempt for those without, and those on the lower rungs kiss the feet of their superiors. Korean society treats the wealthy and the poor completely differently.
10. If you go into a house you must take off your shoes.
11. After sleeping, the blankets and pillows go in the closet. If Koreans go into a room, they always shut the windows and doors.
12. Many marriages are arranged for expediency or convenience.

S. Korea faces tough decision to pick its choice for foreign film Oscar
By Kim Hyun
SEOUL, Sept. 19 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's movie agency on Tuesday faced a tough decision to pick its contender for next year's foreign film Oscar, with three movies vying for the status with an equally distinctive aura.
Two of them are box office record holders -- "The King and the Clown" by Lee Joon-ik and "The Host" by Bong Joon-ho. "Time" by Kim Ki-duk, the low-budget, less popular movie, was backed by the director's overseas recognition.
With no history of the Academy nominating a Korean movie, local experts are upbeat that chances are higher than ever this time with the renaissance of home-grown movies.
"We used to invite five jurors to make the decision and this year we have seven, because we decided each work has a good quality to compete in the Oscar race," said Tae Eun-jung, an official of the Korean Film Council that will make the submission to the U.S. Academy's Foreign Language Film Award Committee.
An Academy award or merely its nomination will provide a powerful backdrop for the movie to reach the huge U.S. market, she said.
The main criteria include the quality of the film, the possibility of its commercial success in the United States and the marketing ability of its distributor. The seven jurors, who are directors, producers, critics, journalists and scholars, will announce their pick this week, the council said.
"The King and the Clown" is a period drama revolving around two low-class clowns and the real-life merciless King Yeonsan in the late 15th century. Its lower-class humor, brilliant depiction of Korea's traditional tight-rope walking and the deftly-woven plot broke the local viewer record of 12.3 million in March.
While the clown story delivers traditional Korea, "The Host" received critical acclaim at home and abroad with its tasty mix of political satire, humanity and gender-bending story telling. With the story of a family fighting a monster of the Han River, the movie is now screened in Japan, Hong Kong and France and is eyeing the U.S. market.
The low-budget movie "Time" is referred to as Kim's most friendly work, which toned down his uncomfortable depiction of brutal reality. The director, who is popular abroad and controversial at home, tells the story of a woman who makes the extreme decision of plastic surgery to keep her bored lover.

Encouraged by Heo Yeong-mahn, Original Cartoonist-
When asked to have a round, Cho Seung-woo refused, saying "No, I am clean now." Yet he unveiled his tips after tinkering with a few "flower cards," Korean playing cards.
"Vets mark their own area. They fold cards they want to have in order to know which ones are the desired ones." While showing finger magic, he drops cards by mistake. "That's because here is not blanket," said Cho jokingly.
"It was really tough. Since I have never played Go Stop game, let alone gambled, I did not understand what "heukssari" was. Also, my hands were small so not perfect for normal flower cards. For the three months during the shot, I learned from real gambling veteran, but I still felt uncomfortable about bringing flower cards in my pocket."
Cho was the first one who came forward to choose the movie. He is the big fan of Choi Dong-hoon, director of "The Big Swindle," and he said he would be in the film when he heard Choi was planning to make cartoon Tazza of Heo Yeong-mahn into a film.
"At first, people said 'casting Cho is not right decision,' and I was very nervous. Yet when Heo said 'if you would just mimic the character in the cartoon, don't even try to make the movie,' I was encouraged to try. Instead of the original work, I grabbed the scenario and thought about a person who is freewheeling and full of guts, and cares about only himself."
Feel Unveiling a Secret Girlfriend-
"Movie Tazza is not about gambling but about people," said Cho. Goni, who happened to engage in Seota (a type of flower cards game) gambling rounds, he loses all he had including his sister's money she received when she got divorced. Goni flees his home. While dreaming about becoming the best gambler, he meets legendary gambler Pyeong (Baek Yoon-sik) and learn the secrets. He thinks he will quit gambling when he makes five times his sister抯 money. However, he can not escape from femme fatale attraction of Madame Jung (Kim Hye-soo), gamble organizer, and strengthens the ties with Goh Gwang-ryeol (Yoo Hae-jin).
Charismatic Cho played charismatic role, which is like a fish in the water. When asked if he was a bad guy in high school, he said no without hesitation. Only being in mid-20s, he seems like an old man who knows my inner thoughts.
"I was precocious and I behaved like an adult because I wanted to be 30. I am the only male in my family so I thought myself as head of the family and wanted to earn money. But my friend once said to me that every man抯 mental age is 14," he said to laughter.
Organizing flower cards at the end of the interview, Cho said "I am both nervous and pleased to see the release of the movie coming near." He explained he felt like showing his secret girlfriend to the public. Yet soon he stated bluntly "nothing to worry about and nothing to regret." His eyes seem overlapped with Goni's eyes.

Lee Jun-ki Appears in Korea-Japan Joint Film
![](http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/8649/63359lgl4.jpg)
Actor Lee Jun-ki has been cast in the Korea-Japan joint production "First Snow" directed by Han Sang-hee, who earned a reputation for producing music videos by working with famous singers including Rain and Ivy.
The Japanese Sponichi Shimbun reported Wednesday that Lee had participated in the movie's first shoot in Kyoto on Monday, with rising Japanese actress Aoi Miyazaki playing opposite his character.
Lee plays a Korean university student who moves to Japan when his father gets a job there as an exchange professor. He has a brief but romantic fling with a high school girl (Miyazaki) with a complicated and difficult family background.
The film is co-sponsored by CJ Entertainment and Kadokawa Herald Pictures and produced by Guardtec, which also produced Lee's recent film "Fly Daddy Fly."
The two stars expressed their hopes in shooting the film. "I hope this film helps improve friendly relations between the two nations," Lee said. Miyazaki, who is appearing in a foreign film for the first time, said, "I will study Korean hard so that I can speak it naturally and act naturally."
The 21-year-old actress rose to stardom through her role in "Nana," which became a big hit in Japan last year. Despite her short career, she has been recognized for her performances several times. She received the best actress award at the Festival des 3Continents in 2002 and the young actress award at the Nikkan Sports Film Award.
"First Snow" will end shooting by the end of the year and be released concurrently in Korea and Japan next spring.

Park Yong-ha Ranks Second on Oricon Single Chart
![](http://english.kbs.co.kr/ICSFiles/artimage/2006/09/22/c_ent_nws/0922_enter_l.jpg)
Actor/singer Park Yong-ha has once again proved his great popularity in Japan by ranking second on the Oricon single chart on the day of release of his single "You're the Best." In February, he ranked third on the chart with his third album.
His first single album of the year unexpectedly contains pop-rock genre songs, which goes against the image he has established. The limited edition of the album contains the songs "You are the Best," "Ready Go Lady Go," and "Distance," but the normal edition includes "Candlewick" rather then "Distance."
All eyes are now on Park's next step, now that he has successfully established himself as both an actor and singer.

Ha Ji-won's Agonizing Road to Period Drama
![](http://english.chosun.com/media/photo/news/200609/200609220018_00.jpg)
The actress Ha Ji-won came close to despair while practicing the wide range of skills needed for her role as "Hwang Jin-I," a famous Chosun-era gisaeng or female entertainer, in a new KBS mini-series. Her head endured the leaden weight of a big decorative wig or gachae. Ha confessed to the suffering, saying, "The gachae is too heavy. My neck is already stiff, although I've only filmed three episodes. It's too painful to sleep." Her fingers are blistered and bruised due to hours of practicing the gayageum, a 12-stringed Korean harp, and geomungo, the six-stringed zither at which the Chosun-era entertainers excelled. Ha is even practicing even tightrope-walking.
To keep up her strength, she is eating eels, which are believed to be good for stamina. And her pains are rewarded with a sense achievement: after all, she now has several skills she never dreamed of. "I want to break away from the typical image of gisaeng and create a new one to win approval from women," she says.

Boy Bands Battle at Festival
By Cathy Rose A. Garcia
Staff Reporter
KWANGJU _ It was billed as a showcase of Asian music at its best, but the third Asia Song Festival held here Friday ended up being a battle between the two most popular boy bands in the region, Korea抯 TVXQ and Japan's Arashi.
![](http://photo.hankooki.com/newsphoto/2006/09/24/ensor200609242127002boys1.jpg)
Japanese pop group Arashi
Around 30,000 fans came from all over the country, and some even came from Japan to watch the free concert, which was organized by the Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange (KOFICE).
During the concert, KOFICE president Shin Hyun-taek said he hoped the event would boost more cultural exchanges among Asian countries.
Top artists from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines performed at the concert. However, it was apparent the most successful pop culture exchange was between Korea and Japan, of which boy bands TVXQ and Arashi have gained popularity in each other's countries.
Since it was Arashi's first performance in Korea, their fans went wild when the five member group appeared on stage wearing bright pink suits. Performing their trademark song, "A-RA-SHI," the group impressed the crowd with their dancing and even included some Korean lyrics. They also sang "Kitto Daijobu" and "Wish," the theme song from the popular Japanese drama "Hana Yori Dango (Boys Over Flowers)."
During a news conference at Damyang Resort on Thursday evening, Arashi member Matsumoto Jun said the group was happy to participate in the festival and have the opportunity to share their music with the rest of Asia.
Arashi member Sakurai Sho said the group was surprised to find they were popular in Korea. Last July 31, around 1,500 fans welcomed Arashi when they held a news conference at the Incheon International Airport.
"Until the airport incident, we never realized that we would be close with Korean fans. That's why if you ask us about our secret to being famous in Korea, we'd like to ask that ourselves. I was skeptical and can't believe it myself," Sakurai said.

Korea's most popular boy band TVXQ unveiled their new,
more mature image Friday during the third Asia Song
Festival in Kwangju.
Meanwhile, TVXQ's fans also screamed their loudest at the concert, when the Korean group unveiled a new, more mature image. Wearing somber black suits and new hairstyles, TVXQ performed the ballad "And Holding Back the Tears," and their new Japanese single, "Sky." They ended the festival with a fireworks-studded performance of "Rising Sun."
Aside from the boy bands, the song festival also showed different sides of Asian pop music. There were the sexy divas such as Japan's Koda Kumi, Hong Kong's Kelly Chen, Thailand's Katreeya English and Vietnam's Ho Quynh Huong.
Koda, who is considered Japan's Madonna, showed off her provocative dance moves and strong vocals. English, a pretty Thai singer, charmed the crowd as she sang the Thai version of "I think I," a song from the popular Korean drama "Full House."

Katreeya English from Thailand sings
during the third Asia Song Festival in Kwangju.
The concert also featured singer-songwriters such as Kitchie Nadal from the Philippines, Tanya Chua from Singapore and Tank from Taiwan. Nadal performed "Wag na wag mong sasabihin (Don't ever tell me)," a ballad that was used as the theme song of the Korean drama "Lovers in Paris" in the Philippines.
Chua sang an emotional ballad "Beautiful Love," while Tank performed songs combining elements of Oriental music with hip-hop.
The Asia Song Festival, which was broadcast in 10 major television networks across Asia, ended with an awarding ceremony for the participating artists.

Seven to Give Solo Concert after 4 Months
2006-09-25
![](http://english.kbs.co.kr/ICSFiles/artimage/2006/09/25/c_ent_nws/seven_l.jpg)
Singer Seven, who will release a new album next month, will give a solo concert October 28 after four months off.
The concert will serve as the finale of the 2006 Seoul Music Festival, which kicks off October 8 for a 22-day run. The festival, the second of its kind, will feature various artists who will stage performances in succession to revive the stagnated domestic music industry.
The festival received a favorable response from audiences last year, as they were able to see the performances of singers Lee Seung-chul, Shin Seung-hoon, Rain, BoA and TVXQ for 35,000 won per ticket and enjoy beer free of charge.
Seven抯 upcoming concert carries special significance because the singer is preparing to debut in the United States and plans to focus on his overseas activities in the near future rather than perform in Korea.
Last month, Seven enraptured Japanese audiences when he performed in Tokyo and Osaka as part of the World Tour marking the 10th anniversary of YG Entertainment, his agency.
At the upcoming concert, the singer will sing songs from his new album and previous hit songs.
Aside from Seven, the 2006 Seoul Music Festival will feature such artists as Kim Hyun-chul, DJ D.O.C., Lee Seung-hwan, Sung Shi-kyung, YB Big Mama, Next, TVXQ and M (Lee Min-woo).
The festival is being sponsored by the Seoul municipal government and the charity organization The Chest of Love, which has also staged a campaign inviting visitors to bring used books that will be donated to the needy.

Hyun Bin Have Been Casted for the New Drama 'The Snow Queen'
![](http://english.tour2korea.com/01TripPlanner/Images/0921_snowcast.jpg)
"The Snow Queen's" main premise is about a young lady and a guy who had both experienced childhood traumas and fall in love each other. Their love melted their icy hearts like a miracle. What kind of a drama could it be with a handsome boy and a big-eyed pretty girl? Seong Yu-Ri and Hyun Bin have been casted in "The Snow Queen".
'The Snow Queen', its name was derived from Andersen's novel, is a fantastic melodrama, depicting the love of a poor boxer and a woman suffering from a disease.
Seong Yu-Ri will star as Bora who has protected herself after a long journey of fighting with a disease and Hyun-Bin who plays Tae-Ung becomes a boxer after suffering from an unexpected car accident. However, Tae-Ung finally becomes the bodyguard of Bora.
In this drama, Hyun Bin will play a poor man living a miserable life and Seong Yu-Ri will play a lofty, arrogant lady. Meanwhile, Hyun Bin played the heroin in both 'My Lovely Sam Soon', and 'A Millionaire's First Love' in which he stared as a bad, rich man.
But this time, breaking away his image of a rich man, he will play a poor boxer and later, a body guard who takes care of Bora only.
Last time in "One Fine Day", Seong Yu-Ri was casted as a sentimental girl, while this time she stars as an arrogant, proud lady. Lee Hyung-Min, the producer of the drama, went to New Zealand with Hyun Bin to shoot this drama for the past 10 days since Sept. 4th.
'The Snow Queen' will air on KBS around the Christmas Holiday season of this year.

'Noon eui Yeo Wang (The Snow Queen)' Hyun Bin, calluses on hand from boxing training
Hyun Bin's professionalism for acting in a drama is gathering attention.
Hyun Bin is playing Tae Woong who is a rising boxer that becomes a third class sparring partner at a local gym and falls in love with a prominent family's daughter in the drama 'Noon eui Yeo Wang (The Snow Queen)' (script by Kim Eun Hee, Yoon Eun Gyeong, produced by Lee Hyeong Min, Yoons Color Production) that is scheduled to air this coming November on KBS 2TV.
In order to accurately portray his character, Hyun Bin has been training in boxing to the point where the calluses on his hands have been affecting the actual filming of the series.
On the 22nd, the first day of filming on the set at a college campus in Cheonan of the South Choong Cheong Province, the crew had to stop the filming due to the calluses on his hands.
The scene was the first meeting of Hyun Bin and Lee Seon Ho at the Yeong Jae High School entrance ceremony. However, the hand portrayed on camera had too many calluses for a high school student and special make-up was needed.
Meanwhile, the main cast, Seong Yoo Ri, Lim Joo Hwan, Kim Hak Jin, Kim Tae Hyeon, and others, attended the traditional ceremony Gosa yearning for a safe drama shoot despite not being called to set that day showing off their teamwork.
Yoons Color, the production company of 'Noon eui Yeo Wang (The Snow Queen),' opened a teaser website (www.thesnowqueen.co.kr) with still photos of Hyun Bin on location in New Zealand along with the original fairy tale.

Video Can't Kill This Radio Star
![](http://english.chosun.com/media/photo/news/200609/200609260033_00.jpg)
A poster for "Radio Star"
One of Korea's most successful directors is about to release his latest work. Director Lee Jun-ik of "The King and the Clown" fame is back with "Radio Star," a movie about a medium that helped shape the director's own life. This new production follows just nine months after "The King and the Clown" broke domestic box office records.
The film is released on Thursday.
In contrast to his previous production, a story on royal life in the Chosun Dynasty of the 1500s, this time around the director has delivered a human comedy set in the 1980s. "Radio Star" has filmgoers curious to see if he can pull off another mega-hit, after "The King and the Clown" reeled in more than 12 million movie fans across Korea. Already expectations over his latest flick are high, given the casting of several big-name actors.
"Before the advent of television, most people including myself learned a lot about life through radio. But these days we depend on visual media. If visual media is regarded as a channel for spreading fully constructed images, then the radio can be seen as one that encourages people to use their imagination," Lee said.

A scene from "Radio Star"
"Radio Star" delves into the relationship between a rock star and his manager who have been close buddies for 20 years. Set in a small town in Korea's mountainous province of Gangwon, "Radio Star" portrays the exhaustion of city dwellers after failing to satisfy their desires. The film shows that it's not easy staying a star in the music industry for long, but that life isn't over when you're no longer in the spotlight.

A scene from "Radio Star"
"Success does not necessarily mean happiness, nor does failure mean unhappiness. Through this film, people will realize that there's more to life than winning or losing. What's important is that you live a happy life," Lee said.
Now generating some added buzz before the film's release is a photo exhibition tied to "Radio Star" at the gallery The Orange in Myeongdong, Seoul. Visitors have an opportunity to see the beautiful sets and making of the film. Director Lee Jun-ik says he wanted to share the beauty of nature that he saw while making the film.
The director says he tried to show how people can find satisfaction in a peaceful environment closer to nature.

Korea's 'Lost' Star to Lure Kids to Disneyland
The Korean actress Kim Yun-jin, who is now appearing in the third season of the hit ABC drama "Lost", has been chosen as the face for a new ad campaign being shot by the broadcaster and Disney Parks. The campaign, which targets children and young adults, has an upbeat message about going forward and accomplishing one's dreams. Where the commercials stand out is in their documentary style, with several stars appearing to talk frankly to an interviewer about their dreams -- since Disney Parks, according to the slogan, is "Where Dreams Come True."
Joining Kim is James Denton, who is a worldwide hot property for his work on "Desperate Housewives," Isaiah Washington from "Gray's Anatomy," and Country music star Sara Evans.
The producers say one of the reasons Kim was selected is that she has expressed a desire to give hope to many in the U.S. who seek to realize their dreams, since she herself has managed to fulfill her ambition of becoming a star in Hollywood.
Kim, who has been deeply engrossed in her work on "Lost", has been getting a lot of notice from the U.S. entertainment industry, and has graced the covers of TV Guide, Arena and Stuff. The ad campaign will be shown on ABC and the Disney Family Channels and ABC.com, besides nationwide print ads. The first spot will run at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Child actors come of age in Korea
![](http://img169.imageshack.us/img169/1230/wayhome1pi8.jpg)
September 26, 2006 ㅡ Four years ago, a small boy moved the hearts of more than 4 million Koreans. He was Yoo Seung-ho, the young star of director Lee Jeong-hyang's movie "Jibeuro," or "The Way Home" in English, a heartwarming story about a boy and his deaf-mute grandmother.
Seung-ho played the grandson in the movie, earning the title of "forever the young boy."
But four years have passed and the 10-year-old has grown up.
He will soon return to the cinema with a main role as a teenager whose only family is his dog "Maumy."
The film "Maumy" is coming to theaters late next month, but moviegoers are already excited to see their favorite boy actor coming back to screens, entertainment Web sites show.
It seems that he has gained a lot of teenage girl fans as well.
"He has a million-dollar smile," wrote "Ruelo" on the bulletin board of Interpark, a Web site for film ticketing. Another article posted by a female fan read, "He has grown up to become so handsome and so cute."
He was voted to be the best look-alike of popular actor Cho Seung-woo, according to an Interpark poll. He also received the most votes as the "most prospective" young actor, according to a survey done by Cine 21, a movie magazine.
The popularity of teenage stars is growing noticeably. Young actors who were considered mere children in the past are receiving much more attention these days.
"Teenaged actors usually played minor roles in films, but that's becoming an old story," said a staffer from Fine Works, a film planning agency. "More movies like to tell their stories from a young person's perspective and younger actors who can act are necessary in this business to make that possible."
A good example is Ko A-seong, 15, who played the youngest daughter in the film, "The Host." She played a critical role in the film where her family rescued her from the creature that kidnapped her.
After Ko showed that she could act well despite her young age, she received more requests to star in television dramas and commercials
Shin Se-gyeong, 17, is another teenage star who is in the spotlight these days. Shin debuted as a "mere friend of actress Moon Geun-young" in a 2004 comedy without much success.
But two years passed and Shin returned to the big screen as a beautiful young lady.
In the recent horror film, "Cinderella," she played the eerie daughter of a plastic surgeon. She did not scare any of the audience but did succeed in surprising the moviegoers who remembered her earlier role.
Following the movie's release, Shin signed an 80 million won ($85,000) contract with School Looks, a high school uniform company, to model its clothes for one year.
"She may be still young, but she gave off the image of being confident, innocent, smart and sexy all at the same time," said the press release from School Looks, explaining why they felt Shin was the right model to best display its clothes.

Drama 'Hwangjiny,' targets international market with Ha Ji Won poster

KBS 2TV drama 'Hwangjiny' that is scheduled to air in October is targeting the international market.
'Hwangjiny' will be introduced at MIPCOM 2006, an internationally renowned audiovisual content trade show that is being held in Cannes of France from October 9th to the 13th. 'MIPCOM' is deemed a 'Cannes festival of audiovisual content' utilized to premiere new and upcoming programs and is held in the spring and fall each year in Cannes.
KBS Media that is in charge of the exporting of 'Hwangjiny' commented, "A 'Hwangjiny' poster advertisement will be set up in the main hall entrance of 'Palais des Festivals' sizing 24.6m wide and 11.5m high."
Original plans were to display the young Hwangjiny in a poster, but the hosts of MIPCOM found the photo of Ha Ji Won wearing a traditional head attire and red Hanbok (Korean traditional attire) appealing and proposed to change the photo selection.
KBS Media also said, "We have exclusively leased the MIPCOM advertisement board since 3 years ago and have displayed 'Emperor of the Sea,' 'I'm Sorry, I Love You,' 'A Love to Kill,' and other drama posters. 'Hwangjiny' is the most Korean of them all, and the image of Ha Ji Won is so strong we believe it will attract great attention."

Jeon Ji-hyun Snapped With Mystery Male Companion
Jeon Ji-hyun has become the target of the always persistent Hong Kong press.
Sina Dotcom's (www.sina.com) Hong Kong site reported on Tuesday that Jeon Ji-hyun had been spotted out shopping with an unidentified male companion. According to the news website, Jeon recently visited the international city for pleasure. The couple were seen with another woman enjoying their time at a hot Hong Kong shopping spot. But the focus was on the man accompanying Jeon. The woman seen with Jeon looked like an assistant, but the man seemed not to be part of the actress' staff, the Hong Kong press surmised.

The two exuded "closeness," it said, and Jeon devoted a good amount of time to shopping for men's clothes. Then the two settled on women's clothes, the man reportedly paying for the new threads. Jeon was in turn by his side as he tried on various outfits.
The actress' handlers at Sidus HQ say they are aware of the reports. "What is true is that the actress traveled to Hong Kong for a very important meeting, and has since returned. However, the person traveling with her is affiliated with the company, and it is nothing strange for a manager to travel along," it said. Meanwhile, Sina Dotcom published detailed reports of Jeon's other activities.
She reportedly has plans to head to the U.S. for language study, and has said that she will be attending a large-scale fan meet at the Saitama Super Arena this Nov. 7.
