Prakash Jaju denied sending vulgar SMSs to Priyanka!

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra's ex-secretary Prakash Jaju denied sending any "vulgar" and "threatening" SMS to Priyanka.

Prakash, who recently threatened to stop 'Krrish' release if Priyanka doesn't pay his dues, which worth a whopping amount of Rs. 69 lakhs, yesterday filed an anticipatory bail application in the session court in Mumbai in response to the complaint filed by Priyanka in Oshiwara police station recently that he is sending "vulgar" and "threatening" SMS to her.

He also had sought interim protection till the application was decided on,however the court refused to grant interim protection from arrest and adjourned the matter till Thursday.

After facing all the aggravation and stress, he finally decides to commit suicide. He gets a life insurance policy which can reimburse his loans. However, he is saved and reaches a distant place where people take him as deaf and mute. There he meets Shruti (Kareena Kapoor) who is mute too. And there begins their love story. And so does the confusion...
USP: Priyadarshan, the king of comedy, is using the tried and tested formula of comedy.

The success of the music at the charts has added to the initial hype of the movie.

Mirch masala: Post the success of 36 China Town, the Shahid-Kareena chemistry is fresh and hot. Let's see if it sets the screen on fire.

With the much-in-demand pairing of Paresh Rawal, Sunil Shetty and Rajpal Yadav, Priyadarshan would hope to set the Box Office tinkling.

Koena Mitra is extremely hurt at allegations made by Riya Sen, with whom she has worked in Money Money Money, that she has had a facelift.

According to Koena, 搃t is Riya who is going around maligning me and talking against me. I don抰 know what her problem is, or why she抯 doing this, but I have nothing against Riya.

No SRK, No B'day:Karan Johar

Filmmaker Karan Johar has managed to sell "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna" (KANK) to distributors from Germany, France and Poland at the 59th Cannes Film Festival.

Other 'non-traditional' international centres are also receptive to the eagerly awaited film.

"The thing about KANK is it follows my K3G ('Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham'). And that's hugely popular as 'La Famille Indien' in France. Selling KANK is easier for me," Johar told.

"Half the Bollywood industry was in Cannes. It was fun running into Ash (Aishwarya Rai), Rakeysh (Omprakash) Mehra, Suneel Darshan, Vishal Bhardwaj and others. It didn't feel like I was away from home."

Johar cannot get over the prevalence of Bollywood star power in that part of the world.

"The support that Shah Rukh Khan has in Europe is amazing. We discovered first-hand in Cannes how much Shah Rukh matters to the market out there.

"We had a blast over there. Preity (Zinta) and I saw talked about movies like 'The Da Vinci Code'. After that I was in London. I had a series of meetings lined up before I returned home."

Johar returns in time for his birthday Thursday.

"I want to spend it with my mother but no party because all my friends are out of the country. Shah Rukh is in Malaysia shooting."

And what was that embarrassing report about Johar and Preity being denied permission to enter a hotel in Cannes through the main door?

"It was so stupid it doesn't even warrant a response. We were just asked to go through another door, which we did. A STAR News correspondent saw us and reported that we were denied entry. I guess such 'news' makes sense to some people. I'd rather focus on the release of my film."

Johar's nervousness about KANK shows.

"I feel KANK has already been released. That's how involved I am with the film. The trailer will be shown along with 'Fanaa' this week."

What about the book on KANK that was released in Cannes? "It was more like an elaborate catalogue, mainly pictorial."

Rimi Sen has been keeping a very low profile these days, despite her next release 'Phir Hera Pheri' being up for release. TWF correspondent Vickey Lalwani catches up her.

Q: Why are keeping a low profile? Your 'Phir Hera Pheri' is up for release?
A: At the end of the day, my work must speak for itself. I've never been the sort to cultivate the media or attend parties to be seen and written about.

If I don't have a release, what do I talk about in my interviews? I'd rather speak when I have a film. I've come up the hard way and know what it takes to reach where I've reached.

Q: Are you shying away from the media because there have been rumours linking you to stars' secretary Rikku's son, Karan Nath. Comment.
A: I do not know whether to laugh or cry. I hardly know Karan Nath. I only met him six months ago at Rikkuji's office, when I had gone there for some work. After that, I met him at the gym where I work out.

I have never met him again, except perhaps, occasionally, at a common friend's wedding if I remember correctly. So how can I have a relationship with him? We had simply posed together for photo-sessions for a film.

Q: How can there be smoke without fire?
A: Pardon me but that's exactly what I want to ask. How can I be linked with someone I don't even know well? I don't even know where these rumours are coming from. I hope this statement of mine will set the record straight.

Q: Are you disappointed at not being a part of 'Dhoom 2'?
A: No regrets. I do not have a role in 'Dhoom 2', because it is a completely different story.

Q: Still, you looked so good in 'Dhoom 2'. Wasn't your first reaction an emotion of some disappointment and hurt?
A: Look, Abhishek does not have a wife in this film, like he did in the original Dhoom. They have many new characters in 'Dhoom 2'. There's Aishwarya, there's Hrithik. On the same lines, even John Abraham is absent.

Q: Instead, you are a part of 'Phir Hera Pheri'?
A: Exactly, because the story of this sequel is something into which I fitted. Today, film-makers do not pick up actors for just the heck of it or on personal equations. I admit that the girls don't have much to do in the film, as it was in 'Hera Pheri', but it's a fun role, nevertheless.

I hope that the audiences love the sequel as much as they had appreciated the first movie. I hope that it is as big a hit as the original.

Q: You are often confused with actress Reema Sen?
A: Yes, and I am really fed up by now. The irony being that my real name is not Rimi, but Shoumitra, which I do not use because it is so unusual.

Q: Reema Sen was in a controversy, recently...
A: (Interrupts) I was really scared when I was mistaken for Reema Sen in the recent controversy about certain obscene pictures. I even got calls from some people enquiring that how I could pose for such pictures.

Q: You have worked with Akshaye Khanna, Abhishek Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan in your first few films themselves. How does it feel?
A: What more could I have asked for? I must be God's gifted child. I have to thank all my producers and directors who had faith in me, and even the big actors who had no qualms in pairing up opposite me. That really helped me. I didn't have to start my career doing B and C grade films.

Q: Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Bipasha Basu and now Rimi Sen. Bengali women are making it real big?
A: I can't even think of comparing myself to these women. They're far ahead of me. But, yes, Bengalis in general are very inclined towards performing arts.

Look at filmmakers like Satyajit Ray, Hrishikesh Mukherjee, Mrinal Sen - they're all geniuses. And, Bengali women are indeed talented as far as music, dance, theatre and cinema are concerned (smiles).

Q: Are you going slow? Shouldn't you have been signing films left, right and centre?
A: Well, I am choosy. I could have done five more films by now, if I had accepted everything that came my way. Plus let us not forget that Bollywood is a male-dominated world. There are more roles for men than for women, plus a lot of females have jumped into this world and made it rather crowded.

- apsal aku dengar lagu ni? aku ingat cam lagu Peter Pan? Dan aku menyampah betul Peter Pan. Nasib baik suara is M Nasir nye suara.
very happy song, very catchy, very bouncy hehehe.


2) Sang Pencinta
- lagi satu happy, chorus dia melodic, very bouncy... Ni kali M Nasir konsert, wa konpemmmmmm pegi!!!!!!!!!!
Aku dengar lagu ni senyummmm je.

3) Tujuh Nafas lagi
- ni ke lagu sarkes tu? ni sounds like those big bands nye lagu je? cam lagu pilem Chicago, lagu 1920s 1930s broadway nye style.
Apsal panjang sangat M Nasir seret ni lagu? pada aku lagu ni very the boringgg....zzzz..... lagu main kat shopping center boleh la, tapi lagu kalo main kat minidisc ke discman, aku rasa aku akan skip ni lagu..
Aku bleh bayangkan ni kalo M Nasir konsert pakai kot panjang sampai lantai, very the broadway, pakai topi tinggi, bawak tongkat gitu, gerak2 kiri gerak2 kanan, then ada baris pompuan satu line panjang, tendang2 kaki kiri, kanan, kiri kanan.....:pmuka:
seriously lagu ni M Nasir seret la, kalo pendek ok kot.

- oooo this song is very the slow rock
tapi lirik dia cam hijau zainal abidin je Loloq tulis lirik la, patut la aku tak paham langsung.

- takde judul lain ke? cam nama lagu wayang je. Ni lagu Loloq tulis lirik.
