last tuesday night aku makan kat tempat ni...rasanya tempat ni pernah kene review kat Suria Segar..sorry aku tak amik gambar banyak...ramai betul orang that time...
Menu
Chicken Chop with Mushroom Sauce - daging tipis, but overall 3.5/5, $7.00
Fish & Chips - ikan lembut, boleh rasa black pepper dorang buat marinade, portions banyak...tak terabis aku..i'm surprised  overall 3.5/5 jugak, $7.00
Cream of Mushroom served with 3 slices of garlic bread - soup taste suspiciously like Campbell's roti keras, overall 3/5, $3.50
they serve all kinds of food, hongkong, chinese, thai, malay - mcm mee rebus, mee siam, nasi lemak, from 7am-4pm je..aku amik gamba makanan yang aku order je..lenkali if i go again aku order lain pulak ye  |

pinggan mangkuk dia mcm mana ek?....ada ke cleaners dorang collect pastu send ke dish washing area kat belakang?...campur ke cuci dgn mangkuk2 dari gerai lain?...atau ada area khas utk muslim stall tu?...atau pun...cleaner dorang collect pastu hantar ke gerai tersebut utk dicuci sendiri?..... |

ok ok...sebab apa tau...selalunya gerai yg ada sijil halal yg letaknya dlm food court yg takder sijil tu...pinggan mangkuk dorang dicuci kat satu tempat kat belakang....
jarang arr sekarang org melayu nak keje cuci pinggan kat food court mcm tu....so, yg cuci semuanya bukan Islam...jadi dorang tak amik berat la tentang tu semua....apa lagi nak asingkan tempat cuci just for that one patikular gerai..
pada dorang (most of them) ...no pork no lard...dah halal la tu...
melainkan la...kalau cleaners yg keje tu pungut pinggan mangkuk gerai halal tu...pastu dorang terus hantar ke gerai tersebut utk dicuci sendiri....(ada gerai halal kat food court yg buat gitu...tapi, mostly owner dia muslim)... |

Halal roast ducks now available in Singapore

SINGAPORE: For the first time, a local poultry company - HKH Roast House - has been granted licence to supply halal roast ducks in Singapore.
'Halal' means 'permissible' in Arabic.
Halal ducks have to be slaughtered according to Islamic specifications, so that Muslims can consume them.
Each duck costs between S$24 and S$28 |

like i mentioned in topik aktiviti ujung minggu..semalam aku pi makan kat Tong Shui Cafe @ T2 airport
TSC ni aku dah beraper kali baca orang komplen kat Forum page, makan salah antar la, sejuk la, service tak bagus la, so frankly i was sceptical masa nak masuk semalam..toying gak with the idea whether nak makan sini or kat breeks (kedai ni side by side), tapi lepas tengok menu, tengok dorang serve eastern & western food, compared to breeks yang serve western je, we decided to give it a try lah

Order Chit - Kita tulis apa kita nak order, then nanti waiter dia amik
Kacang untuk munch sementara tunggu orders sampai
Ice Milo - Served in a thing aku tak tau nak kata jug ke cawan
Warm Coke with Lemon
Macaroni Soup with Sunset Egg, Tofu & Veggies - A bit bland for my taste, but untuk kids seems fine. Wani abiskan the whole mangkuk (kecuali sayur, aku abiskan). At first aku tergamam jugak macam mana budak kecik nak makan dengan mangkuk besar macam ni, then the staff kasi kita plastic utensils. Senang sikit.
Fried Rice with Sunset Egg, Ham & Sausage - aku ingatkan dorang masukkan dalam nasi sekali. Rupanya tidak. They serve the sausage & 2 slices of ham at the side. Rasa tak ubah macam nasi goreng cina yang aku makan kat kedai kopi biasa. Seriously. But then again, for kids it's fine lah.
Chicken in Melted Cheese - Ayam panggang in tomato sauce (taste like spaghetti sauce), then baked with mozzarella cheese. Nothing special, to be honest. Macam drumlets KFC/Pizza Hut.
Ice cream : chocolate, mint, strawberry, vanilla flavours. Served with cut (chopped) kiwi, strawberry & mango. Not that nice lah.
Overall verdict : The only pull factor for me is because of its Halal Cert, and because at that time aku tak nak makan western food lah. Ada sikit miscomm dgn staff, we asked for the icecream to be served later, tapi they serve after drinks. Bila kita bagitau, staff dia (not local) macam tarik muka. 1 minus point. Also, for these kind of prices (nasi goreng cost $6.88), I feel that I should get at least better taste lah. This kind of taste kat kedai kopi pun boleh dapat, if not better.
The only thumbs up I give is the attentiveness to the local staff, nampak aku tolak pram je, cepat |

yeah.. they just hire one or 2 muslim workers to man the counter...for the cert's sake..
yg cuci/prepare the food...still the non-muslim workers...  |
