tima kasih explain karam.

ala..sempoi2 je jawab.takyah segan,yg tanya ni pompuan. hehe

cam aku, aku kekadang tgk time aku swim. kekadang ada hari ramai pulak mak bapak budak bwk anak2 gi swim, aku pakai yg cam sopan la sikit baju.

pasai dulu penah la gi swim kat satu tempat ni, ramai melayu yg gi pool ni, ada satu family bwk anak2 dia. time ni aku pakai cam sopan la, tapi member aku pakai swim suit (tapi yg one piece), langsung balik terus family tu, pasal member aku pakai seksi sgt. (adala dgr dorang ni cakap).

ayoyo, susah gak kalo gi pool2 majoriti melayu ni sikit. tp setakat tu je la problem, takdela lain.

kalo time pegi takde orang or tpt tu mmg ramai org yg datang utk swim (takde sgt orang yg dok bersidai) aku pakai sleeveless. lagi syiok swim pakai sleeveless sebenaqnya. best, cam lancar je swim.dahtu kira kalo sunburn pun, kena semua, idakle berbelang2 tangan den.

suar standard la, suar tight, kekadang 3/4 kekadang yg panjang, tgk matahari camana lak.

baju utk wanita skrg dah byk choice. suit muslimah tuh cantik, nak bawak gi jejalan pun boleh. agak2 malas nak tukar baju, lepak kasik kering baju tu, pastu boleh gi jalan terus.heheh

USA Swimming suspends Phelps for 3 month

ATLANTA (AP) - Michael Phelps has been suspended from competition for three months by USA Swimming in the latest fallout from a photo that showed the Olympic great inhaling from a marijuana pipe.
The sport's U.S. governing body also cut off its financial support to Phelps for the same three-month period, effective Thursday.

"This is not a situation where any anti-doping rule was violated, but we decided to send a strong message to Michael because he disappointed so many people, particularly the hundreds of thousands of USA Swimming member kids who look up to him as a role model and a hero," the federation said in a statement.

"Michael has voluntarily accepted this reprimand and has committed to earn back our trust."

In this file photo provided by Kellogg Co., a prototype of a box of Kellogg's Corn Flakes with U.S. swimming star Michael Phelps is seen. Kellogg said Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009, it won't renew its sponsorship contract with Phelps because of a photo that showed him with a marijuana pipe. Phelps apologized for his "regrettable" behavior and "bad judgment" after the photo appeared. (AP Photo/Kellogg Co.) ** NO SALES

Phelps won a record eight gold medals in Beijing to become one of the world's most acclaimed athletes.

Now he's enduring a wave of bad news in the wake of the photo, published Sunday by the News of the World, an English newspaper.

Earlier Thursday, cereal and snack maker Kelloggs announced it wouldn't renew its sponsorship contract with Phelps, saying his behavior is "not consistent with the image of Kellogg."

The swimmer appeared on the company's cereal boxes after his Olympic triumph.

USA Swimming provides a $1,750 monthly stipend to national team members to help defray travel and training expenses, plus performance bonuses.

However, it's a small percentage of the millions Phelps makes through endorsements.

"Michael accepts these decisions and understands their point of view," said one of his agents, Drew Johnson.

"He feels bad he let anyone down. He's also encouraged by the thousands of comments he's received from his fans and the support from his many sponsors. He intends to work hard to regain everyone's trust."

Phelps' coach Bob Bowman believes the swimmer will emerge from the experience stronger.

"Michael's been through a lot and he's learned a lot, hopefully," Bowman told The Associated Press during a telephone interview.

"I support him and I want to see him do better. I'm here, as always, to try to help him move forward. He's learned some tough lessons and he's disappointed a lot of people, me included."

Phelps has acknowledged "regrettable" behavior and "bad judgment."

He didn't dispute the authenticity of the photo, reportedly taken at a house party while Phelps was visiting Columbia, South Carolina, in November during an extended break from training.

"I certainly understand USA Swimming needed to take action," Bowman said.

"We will certainly abide by everything they've put down."

The 23-year-old has resumed training in his home city Baltimore, but his plans to return to competitive swimming will have to be put on hold.

Phelps had planned to compete in early March at a Grand Prix meet in Austin, Texas.

Now, he won't be able to compete until early May, which would give him a little more than two months for some racing before July's world championships in Rome.

"This is the result of a poor decision Michael made," U.S. Olympic Committee spokesman Darryl Seibel said in an e-mail.

"He understands there is accountability and has pledged to not repeat this in the future. We have offered our assistance to make certain he is as consistent and successful away from the pool as he is in it, and we are confident that will happen."

After the suspension, Phelps would be able to compete at a May meet in Charlotte, North Carolina; there's another Grand Prix competition in Santa Clara, California, the following month.

The U.S. team for Rome will be chosen at the national championships, which begin July 7 in Indianapolis.

"He's been very good in practice," Bowman said.

"He feels good to be back in the water. Certainly, he's not in very good shape.

"We're anxious to get back to a really normal routine and we have. We're moving on."

Several of Phelps' Olympic teammates rallied to his defense.

Among them was Dara Torres, the 41-year-old silver medalist whom Phelps jokingly referred to in Beijing as "Mom."

"I see him as a kid trying to grow up in the most intense spotlight known to any athlete. He has apologized and what else can he do?" she told the AP by telephone.

"The thing I hope is that people realize Michael is still a person and not just a swimming hero."

"He didn't let the USA down at the games, so we shouldn't let him down."

Torres doesn't expect a three-month suspension in a non-Olympic year to have much affect on Phelps' career.
He intends to compete at the 2012 Olympics in London.

"Knowing Michael the way I do, I guarantee you it's going to make him want to do well," Torres said.

"All this is going to do is light a fire under him."

Amanda Beard compared Phelps' ordeal to some of the disdain she faced after posing nude in Playboy magazine before the Beijing Games.

"If anyone knows public scrutiny, it's me," the four-time Olympian said in a text message.

"When I posed for Playboy, so many officials looked down on me. Michael knows he isn't a bad person. He made a mistake. People need to get over it. I want to cheer him on in London."

Earlier report

BALTIMORE (AP) - Olympic champion Michael Phelps says it has been difficult coping with the fallout from a photo of him smoking from a marijuana pipe.

"It's something I am going to have to live with and something I'll have to grow from," Phelps told The Associated Press on Wednesday outside the pool where he trains.

"I know with all of the mistakes I made, I learned from them and that is what I expect to do from this. By no means it is fun for me, by no means is it easy."

It was the first time Phelps publicly addressed the photo since issuing an apology on Sunday after it surfaced in a British tabloid over the weekend.

Wearing a black sweat suit and shaking off the remaining drops of water in his hair after a workout at the Meadowbrook Aquatic Center, Phelps said the most important thing for him was that he was back in the pool training.

"I'm back to my routine, the thing I love, the thing I care about most," Phelps said.

"To be able to get back in the water and get back to a normal schedule is what I am happy about most."

Phelps and his coach, Bob Bowman, in November took over the operation of Meadowbrook and the North Baltimore Aquatic Club, where the swimmer began training at age 7.

Phelps declined to address the possibility of criminal charges and reiterated his desire to put the furor behind him.
"You know, it happens," he said.

"When stupid things are (done), bad judgment is made and mistakes are made, it happens."

Phelps apologized to his fans and sponsors after the News of the World published a picture that appeared to show the Olympic champion smoking marijuana during a November party at the University of South Carolina.

The photo wasn't the first time Phelps has been in trouble for his activities away from the pool.
After the 2004 Athens Games, an underage Phelps was arrested for drunken driving, pleaded guilty and apologized to his fans.

Several of Phelps' sponsors - including Visa, apparel company Speedo and luxury Swiss watchmaker Omega - have expressed their support of the athlete, who won a record eight golds medals at the Beijing Olympics.

"I have a relationship with all of my sponsors and they are really like family," Phelps said.

"It's been like that for our whole partnership together. And it's good to have support in a time like this. This is when you most need it."

He was also appreciative of the backing he's gotten from those close to him.

"Right now, at a time like this, this is when you really know who are your real friends and family," said Phelps, 23.

"And I have had a lot of support and that is something I am thankful for."

Swiss-based FINA praised Phelps for his public apology on Wednesday.

"As a citizen, Michael Phelps displayed inappropriate behavior," swimming's governing body said in a statement.

"But his sincere regret and the promise that such a situation will not happen again are sufficient guarantees that this great star will continue generating respect and appreciation to all fans of our sport around the globe."

But the chief executive of the U.S. Olympic Committee said on Wednesday he'd like to have a face-to-face meeting with Phelps, and spokesman Darryl Seibel said the federation was sending the Olympic star a letter offering its assistance.
Phelps has apologized.

Now the USOC wants to help him avoid a repeat.

"Based on this occurrence, we at the USOC, as we said in an earlier statement, are exceptionally disappointed in him, as he is in himself," Jim Scherr said.

"We'll follow up and have a direct conversation with him and people close to him."

The USOC can't do much to penalize him. Anti-doping rules don't call for sanctions against athletes who test positive for marijuana when they're not competing.

And the USOC's code of conduct doesn't apply to athletes once the games are over.

Kellogg to drop Phelps over pot smoking

Meanwhile in Portland, Oregon, Kellogg Co. said it will not renew its endorsement deal with Olympic champion Michael Phelps because he acknowledged inhaled from a marijuana pipe.

Most of his major sponsors, such as Visa Inc., Speedo, luxury Swiss watchmaker Omega and sports beverage PureSport's maker Human Performance Labs, stood by the athlete following the news, even if they didn't condone his behavior.

But Michigan-based cereal and snack maker Kellogg said Phelps' behavior was "not consistent with the image of Kellogg."
Phelps' agent was not immediately available to comment.

Kellogg had contracts with Phelps and other Olympic athletes to support its association with the U.S. Olympic team.
The company said in a statement that it will not renew its contract with Phelps, which expires at the end of February.

The company did not renew its deal with the US Olympic Team, which expired in December. Kellogg would not disclose the value of its deal with Phelps.

But experts have said that after Phelps won eight gold medals, he scored millions in endorsement deals, including the one that placed him on boxes of Kellogg's Frosted Flakes and Corn Flakes. - AP

Satu keputusan adil

PHELPS digantung penyertaan tiga bulan ekoran
kesalahan mengambil dadah jenis marijuana.

Sementara itu, perenang wanita Australia, Libby Trickett menyifatkan Phelps benar-benar bernasib baik apabila hanya dikenakan hukuman penggantungan penyertaan selama tiga bulan.

- Agensi

********************************************************************************

macamana lah phelps boleh jadi macam ni ye -
fame kadang2 buat orang lupa diri tambahan umur muda
tak banyak experience lagi tentang hidup - mula buat perangai
macam kambing semua... -

harap - dia belajar dari kesilapan - dan hopefully juga apa yang
terjadi tak jejas prestasi dia dalam swimming - ye lah  mana tau
sebab dah hu ha hu ha pasal ni.. nanti after 3 months nak compete
terus prestasi jatuh..  dan tak leh nak recover -
swimmers kat dunia makin lama makin ramai yang kuat - kat australia
usa, eropah sana.. - banyak dan stiff competition juga tu -

bagus artikel nh!!!

Who is really the dope now?

PARIS: So Michael Phelps seemingly puffed a pot pipe on his own time. Bad boy.

It would have been a bigger deal had he used marijuana to help his record-breaking Olympic performance in Beijing last summer -- stoking on a water pipe to cope with the stress of the Water Cube.

But no, Phelps was stupidly -- perhaps venally -- photographed out of competition at a party apparently taking a misguided step down a path trampled by at least two US presidents and the Woodstock generation that taught its kids that the Sixties were swinging and that weed, for some, was part of the fun.

Yes, drugs ruin many lives and a South Carolina sheriff is doing his job investigating whether charges are warranted. Phelps escaped with little more than a slap on the wrist from his governing body, USA Swimming.

Suspending him from competition for three months still leaves him time to sharpen up for July's world championships. By then, a lot of this smoke and fire will surely have blown over.
The questions Phelps' fans and sudden new foes (fair-weather friends?) need to be asking are why are they so disappointed and do such errors, however felonious or fragrant the fumes, deserve such a mountain of fuss?

The problem here is not Phelps, but the golden pedestals we build for him and other athletes simply because they swim fast, hit balls out of the park or bend free kicks into goal. By turning sports-people into super-heroes, we've set ourselves up for the fall.

Stadiums are more packed than churches. Many spend more on season tickets than they do on giving to charity. Count the number of pages devoted to sports in your newspaper, then count the number for foreign news. Do Manchester United or the LA Lakers really deserve your attention more than Gaza and global warming?

If anyone has a drug problem it's us, the sports fans addicted to seeing how far the human body can be pushed, especially when it's not our own.

Of course, it's preferable if athletes don't take performance-enhancing drugs or ruin their young bones and sinews by being pushed beyond the limit, ending their careers before they've barely begun.

Most definitely, it would be better if sportsmen and women had well-rounded personalities and education as developed as their muscles, and were not thrown into pools as youngsters and told to swim up and down all day.

But the sorry truth is that many fans don't really care, as long as their teams and stars give them that buzz of triumph. If, perhaps even when, Phelps scoops up yet more gold medals in 2012 at the London Olympics, his What a Dope! photo in the British tabloid News of the World will be just a hazy memory for those who again will cheer him on. Chest-thump anyone?

That joke is on us.

Buying Phelps-endorsed cereal for kids who would rather have toast means you're not listening. Breakfast of champions? Rubbish. Drinking the soda doesn't make you like Mike. Squeezing into the same swimsuit as Phelps won't get you Olympic gold. But do glance in the mirror. Who looks the fool now?

Of course, it was a rush watching Phelps chase and complete his great haul of China in August, winning eight gold medals to break Mark Spitz's 36-year-old record.

But no one seriously believes that Luke Skywalker continues to fight the forces of evil in a galaxy far, far away after the credits have rolled. So why should we expect sports-people to live anything but human lives, with the errors that humans make, outside of the arena?

Just because their sporting feats are sometimes superhuman doesn't mean they are, too. -- AP
