L'Arc provides NHK with Olympic theme song
Rock band L'Arc~en~Ciel has announced their first single since August of last year. Titled "BLESS," it will be used as the theme song for NHK's coverage of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
"BLESS" will go on sale January 27, though fans will be able to hear the song on December 6 when it starts being played on NHK shows such as "Sunday Sports" and "MUSIC JAPAN."
It was also revealed that the band's 2007 single "Hurry Xmas" is being reissued on December 9 with a limited edition jacket design and insert.
In a separate announcement, bassist tetsu declared that he has changed his stage name to tetsuya, which will be capitalized as TETSUYA for his solo works.

L'Arc-en-Ciel yukihiro Solo Project Concert!
A few days ago L'Arc-en-Ciel announced that they will release their new single 'BLESS' on January 27th next year. The drummer yukihiro has announced that he will hold concerts as part of his solo project 'acid android.'
New official artist photos have been revealed, and an official mobile website has opened. The webpage for PC users has also been revamped. Fans are looking forward to seeing what yukihiro has in store for 2010.
