Jennylyn Mercado (born May 15, 1987) is the ultimate female survivor in GMA 7's first season of Starstruck talent search. Since winning Starstruck, Jennylyn became one of GMA's hottest contract stars. In the October 14, 2004 episode of TV drama series Magpakailanman of GMA Network, which featured her life story, viewers learned more about Jennylyn's childhood.
In May 4, 1991, when she was nearly four years old, Jennylyn made headlines as a battered child. Her mother migrated to London and had her own family. Because of this, Jennylyn's aunt, Lydia Mercado, legally adopted her.
She became the girlfriend of co-StarStruck survivor Mark Herras but their relationship has now ended. Although the pair may have declared that they have split up, their on-screen team-up bears no signs of breaking down.
Some sources also said that she's been courted by Captain Barbell star, Patrick Garcia.
Now she admitted that she has been going out with award-winning actor, Patrick Garcia. The two had recently been spotted together in one of the country抯 finest island, Boracay. Rumor has it that the two is now officially together as confirmed by some of their friends. But the actress-singer neither admit nor deny about the status of their relationship. In one recent interview by Dolly Ann Carvajal of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Jennylyn explains,

No 3 Sarah Geronimo

Sarah Asher Geronimo, or simply Sarah Geronimo is one of the hottest stars in the Philippines today. She is the winner of the Philippine reality show Star for a Night. She is known for being the Pop Star Princess of the Philippines.
At fourteen years old, she released her debut album Popstar: A Dream Come True. The debut album was awarded a sixtuple (6x) platinum award, selling over 180,000 copies. Aside from singing, she has also done supporting roles for movies like "Filipinas", "Captain Barbell" and "Annie B." and has starred in her own television soap opera entitled "Sarah, The Teen Princess" and "Bituing Walang Ningning". She has also scored endorsement deals for Jollibee, Charmee and Talk And Text for Smart Telecommunications.
Sarah is now a mainstay of ASAP '06, a once-a-week, noontime, musical variety show, hosts Little Big Star, a reality star search for kiddie singers, now on its second season and is lead star to ABS-CBN's top primetime soap opera, "Bituing Walang Ningning", a spin-off of the 1985 classic box-office hit movie. She stars as Dorina, the role originally played by Sharon Cuneta in the movie version in 1985.
To say that Sarah loved to perform is an understatement. She actively participated in school programs and joined many singing contests. At three, she was already in the kiddie show "Pen pen de Sarapen." She was also cast in "For Kids Only" and "Hiraya Manawari". She was part of the first batch of stars in "Ang TV." But it was Sarah's talent for singing that her father chose to focus on and improve by enrolling at the "Center For Pop Music Philippines" at six years old.
No 2 Kristine Hermosa

Kristine Hermosa Orille (born September 9, 1983 in Quezon City, Philippines) is a famous kapamilya actress. Her father is Filipino and her mother is a Spanish mestiza. She has an older sister named Kathleen, who was originally the one who dragged her to auditions in ABS-CBN. However, her sister failed to impress the judges in the first screening and it was reluctant younger sister Kristine who was suggested to audition due to her height and beauty. Thought to be just another pretty-faced teenage actress, Kristine rose to fame in the TV series Pangako Sa 'Yo, which made famous her love team partnership with Jericho Rosales, who later became her real-life boyfriend.
Years before her fame, Kristine started out as Baron Geisler's loveteam partner in Nagbibinata. Later on, she was cast in Sa Sandaling Kailangan Mo Ako, a weekly drama series together with Marvin Agustin. She garnered critical acclaim for her performance in this series as she was portraying a role almost more than five years older than her real age.
She was linked to Diether Ocampo until it became a real-life romance on the set of Sana'y Wala ng Wakas. Later, the two got married. Also, their TV series together with her then real-life boyfriend Til Death Do Us Part was a major flop. In 2005, she was given the role of Luisa in the much-loved classic Gulong ng Palad together with new partner TJ Trinidad where she returned to the limelight after taking a break from acting in a TV series. Hermosa is a member of ABS-CBN's elite circle of homegrown talents properly named Star Magic.
No 1 Angel Locsin

Angel Locsin (born Ang閘ica Locs韓 Colmenares), is a Filipina television and film actress who was introduced in GMA Network's youth-oriented program, Click. Locs韓 was born on April 21, 1985 in Bulacan province, where she also grew up. She is the second child of three. Her parents separated when she was fourteen and she has since lived with her father. F.Y.I(For Your Indulgence)
This Eigenmann chooses to be Kapamilya
By : Isah V. Red | Manila Standard
18 October 2006 | 8:30 AM
Most of the Eigenmanns are Kapuso.
You see Mark Gil in Atlantika and his son Gabby Eigenmann is a fixture on the Sunday noontime variety SOP and every now and then plays a role in the network抯 primetime drama series. Cherie Gil is la primera contrafigura in the afternoon soap Now and Forever: Dangal.
AJ Eigenmann, Michael de Mesa and Gina Alajar抯 son, is in Pinakamamahal, an afternoon soap weekdays on the Kapuso network. But his brother, Geoff Eigenmann, has chosen to be on the other side.
Recently, Geoff signed with ABS-CBN Star Magic family. And the move is considered by fellow Kapamilya as a homecoming of sorts. After all, as a little boy, Geoff was in the very popular Ang TV. He was only eight years old then.
Recently, Geoff signed with ABS-CBN Star Magic family. And the move is considered by fellow Kapamilya as a homecoming of sorts. After all, as a little boy, Geoff was in the very popular Ang TV. He was only eight years old then.
Coming from a reputable family of actors, Geoff抯 decision to be like his parents didn抰 come as a surprise. In fact, it had been anticipated that he抎 follow in the footsteps of Michael de Mesa and Gina Alajar.
As a kid, more than a decade past, Geoff used to tag along his parents to tapings. His education in show business was already beginning then. His interest in what his parents did for a living soon became part of his consciousness as he began to be part of show business. Yet, his biggest break would be a starring role梟ot in a television show or a motion picture梚n a television commercial for Globe.
Not a few noticed the good looks and the charming uneven lop-sided smile. In just a span of two weeks, people are talking about this guy up in the mountains who needed a load for his mobile phone.
What followed was a dizzying baptism into the realm of show business. He landed a role in ABS-CBN抯 Hiram with Anne Curtis, Dina Bonnevie and Kris Aquino. Not long after that soap had concluded, he is in Ikaw ang Lahat Sa Akin with Claudine Barretto, Diether Ocampo, Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz
From television, he hopped onto the movie bandwagon with a starring role in two blockbuster movies桞ecuz of U and the recent First Day High梑oth from Star Cinema.
His potential as an actor has become obvious, yet Geoff doesn抰 want to be confined to just creating characters. He also wants to be known as Geoff Eigenmann. And so he is accepting a hosting stint in ASAP Fanatic with Luis Manzano and John Prats. He is also one of the VJs of Studio 23抯 MYX and regular hosts in ASAP |
