Shaina and Rayver star in Regal Films' Happy Hearts, their launching movie as an on-screen tandem.
"[It's about] the love that we have. Aside from that, family also. I have my issues with my dad, meron din siyang issues sa family niya. Like the typical teenagers, kaya makaka-relate mga teenagers sa movie," says Shaina.

"He's very maalaga tapos consistent po. Not like ngayong araw lang siyang sweet, the next day hindi na siya sweet. Parang mas gumagrabe," says Shaina Magdayao about her on-screen partner and real-life suitor, Rayver Cruz. During the launch of their dance album Ultimate Dance 4 (UD4), the two, along with Maja Salvador and John Prats, danced their first single, "Kembot." After busting their moves, Rayver got a bottled water, twisted the cap, and handed it to Shaina.  

Shaina points out, "Before kasi it's really normal na maalaga siya e, pero ngayon parang mas maalaga siya..."

APPROVAL. Shaina describes her dream guy: "Siyempre gusto ko marespeto, gentleman... Gusto ko mahal din 憏ong pamilya ko. Siyempre mahirap po 憏on e, kapag ayaw ng pamilya mo, di ba?" In a previous PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) interview, Shaina said that she wants her family to scrutinize and approve of her future boyfriend.

When asked what her family, including her sister Vina Morales, thinks of Rayver, she replies that Rayver passed with flying colors.  

"Approve siya sa pamilya ko! Approve siya sa parents ko, kay Ate Vina... Kinakausap siya ni Ate na alagaan ako. Approve naman siya kasi mabait naman," remarks Shaina. Shaina and Rayver have been an on-screen couple for quite some time. Shaina says she still wants to get to know him more.

She says, "Matagal na siya kasama as a friend, pero as a manliligaw, ngayon pa lang... I think he's full of surprises since every day kami magkasama. Parang sa araw-araw naming magkasama, nakikita ko 憏ong mood swings niya, pero hindi siya 憏ong matalak na tao. Parang one time makulit siya, but the next time tahimik na siya, so ibig sabihin there's something wrong, pero he won't say why."

VALENTINE'S. Rayver gave Shaina a dozen red roses and a teddy bear. Shaina hasn't given the toy a name yet.

"Lahat nagtatanong kung anong pangalan nung bear, siguro bibigyan ko na siya ng name. Siguro Oliver, kasi 憏on talaga name niya [Rayver], Raymond Oliver," she says. FIRST BOYFRIEND. Although she is getting along with the young actor, Shaina says that she isn't planning to commit to a relationship soon.

She jokes, "Siyempre pahirapan pa! Hindi naman ako 憏ong type na 'pag tinext lang or kaya 'pag start pa lang 憃o' na agad."

PEP asks Rayver what he likes about Shaina.

"Lahat ng gusto kong qualities ng babae nasa kanya na. Parang sakto nga, parang bigla siyang dumating sa buhay ko," answers Rayver.

He ends, "Mahal na mahal na mahal ko siya!"

Kris Aquino and James Yap both admitted on The Buzz last Sunday that they are having marital problems and are trying to fix it. The reason, according to reports, is James's affair with a woman named Hope.

Days after Kris Aquino gave a statement in The Buzz about the issues surrounding her marriage with basketball player James Yap, the public is left with more questions than answers.  

"Naglabasan lang naman lahat nang ito noong may konting bulung-bulungan before my birthday. But noong birthday ko, umiyak ako. Akala ng lahat super happy sa birthday, di ba? 慣apos nakita ng lahat na may tensiyon na namamagitan sa amin ni James," admitted Kris during her live interview on The Buzz last Sunday, February 18.

The tabloids and even the entertainment section of the broadsheets have written speculation as to what the couple's "real" problems are. Some wrote about James asking Kris for a Porsche. The couple was said to have had a big fight over this.

Others wrote about a more intriguing angle梐 third party. James was said to have been having an affair with an employee of the Belo Medical Group, named Hope. During the interview, Kris chose not to divulge the details of her marital problems with James.

She explained, "Inaamin ko nagkaproblema kami. Inaamin kong nasaktan ako. Pero ganito po iyon e, in the past I have spoken very openly about my life because number one, I had to defend myself or number two, mayroong mga bagay na kailangan kong ipaliwanag.

"Ngayon, this is one instance na hindi ko kailangan i-defend ang sarili ko kasi wala po akong kasalanan. Asawa po ako, may pamilya kami, ako 憏ong nasaktan. So, anong kailangan kong i-defend? Pangalawa, kung mayroon akong kailangan ipaliwanag, lahat po ng mga paliwanag na kinailangan ko, naganap na sa loob ng tahanan namin."

Instead of rationalizing on everything that's happening within their household, Kris opted to do what she thinks is best. "Alam n'yo ho, it's my decision to stay married. It's my decision to protect this marriage and to protect my family."

Kris gave a stern warning: "At kung sino man ang magtatangka na wasakin ang pamilya ko, sinasabi ko sa iyo, at this point in my life, hindi kita papayagan na mag-succeed for the simple reason na may bagong buhay kami na pinapasok sa mundong ito e."

HOPE. A PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) source recently gathered information that Hope梩he alleged third party to Kris and James's relationship梚s finally going to speak up in GMA-7's entertainment talk show Startalk this Saturday, February 24. Startalk host Lolit Solis was said to have been able to convince the Belo Medical Group employee to say her piece about the issue. Lolit is a known ally of the clinic's proprietor, Dr. Vicki Belo. Lolit is also Kris's former manager.

In Mario Bautista's column in People's Journal on February 18, he wrote that Hope reportedly resigned from her position at the clinic after the stories of Kris and James's marital problems surfaced. Talk has it that Hope is upset because people are blaming her for the couple's falling out. Hope is reportedly saying that James was the one who pursued her, not the other way around. It is also said that James was not the first celebrity to court the beautiful Belo employee. There have been rumors circulating that Hope's first on-screen interview is to reveal that she is pregnant and that James is the father.

Incidentally, Kris is about to give birth this May to her first baby with James.

Hope's live interview on Startalk this Saturday is expected to reveal more about the true nature of her alleged relationship with the Purefood cager, and finally shed some light on the marital problems of Kris and James.

AT the launching of their first dance album, "Ultimate Dance Four," Rayver Cruz admitted that he抯 now formally courting Shaina Magdayao. Last Valentine抯 Day, he gave her a dozen of her favorite roses and a huge stuffed toy.

"I was really surprised as I didn抰 know he had a Valentine gift for me," says Shaina.

What are Rayver抯 chances? "He抯 always been caring, maasikaso, but he抯 even more thoughtful now. After each dance number, he gives me water as we really sweat a lot while dancing."
