Very interesting, ibnur.

The first time I was made aware of the asymmetry of my face was during my last facial treatment. I was told my right face is more healthy than my left. Offhand I would say my right  eyesight is far better than the left  too. So, I gather my right-right and left-left facial image would look quite different eh! I shall try it out.

Obviously I am a left brain person with the right side having problem keeping pace..............! :cak::cak:

Bahagian kiridan kanan kita walaupun kelihatan sama dan nampak berpasangan tapi tidak simetri sebenarnya...
malahan ader sesetengah organ kita bukan sahaja tidak berpasangan malahan terletak samada di bahagian kiri atau kanan..
contohnya kedudukan jantung, liver, spleen..ada yg lebeh ke kiri dan ader pula yang terletak di kanan...

erm...2 wajah dalam setiap diri kita.....

Seadanya kiri & kanan mebawa peranan masing2...letak duduknya yg betul. Inilah yang dikatakan keseimbangan walaupun pada hakikatnya ia tidak sama atau tidak simetri. Ia seimbang dalam eri kata kedudukannya sesuai dengan diri seseorang itu.

Contohnya, seorang atlet yg jaguh dengan kedudukan jantungnya yg lebih ke sebelah kiri dan bukanlah berada di kedua-dua belah atau pun di tengah2, kedudukan itu seimbang untuk dirinya.....Itulah keseimbangan pada ketidaksamaan pada kedua2 belah anggota, sikap mahu pun prilaku kita. :hatdown:

Pernah dengar teori, lagi simetri muka maknanya kita lagi attractive.
Maknanya, kalau muka kita dicantumkan kiri-kiri kanan-kanan, nampak sama je, kita ni attractive la?
Kita lagi terpikat kat orang yang attractive sebab kita tengah buat genetic selection untuk menghasilkan progeny yang sihat (survival of the fittest), sebab physical attractiveness dikaitkan dengan physical health.
Macam pernah dengar muka Denzel Washington paling simetri kat dunia ni so dia ni 'the most beautiful person in the world'?

in my case,my left face is less healthy than right.....it looks a little concaved compared to my right which is more fleshy...any solution?

Thought I saw it in a documentary or something but I could be mistaken.
From what i could gather from the internet, he was voted as one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world by People magazine but i don't think he's #1. So, I could be mistaken :nerd:

Probably you should only have the 'best side' of your face photographed, hehe.

Good tips Doc. Ikind of think that the left and right sides of our face reflect the left and right brain function. So, unless we improve and have a balanced brain function,our face would always remain asymmetrical.

hehehe...yes,but when there is a need for frontal face photo then no way I can hide my left-side.

Honestly, it is just my own opinion. Although both brain functions are alive, people usually have a dominant left or right brain function. Here are some details we may consider:

Description of the Left-Hemisphere Functions:
-Constantly monitors our sequential, ongoing behavior
-Responsible for awareness of time, sequence, details, and order
-Responsible for auditory receptive and verbal expressive strengths
-Specializes in words, logic, analytical thinking, reading, and writing
-Responsible for boundaries and knowing right from wrong
-Knows and respects rules and deadlines

Left-brain students prefer to work alone. They like to read independently and incorporate research into their papers. They favor a quiet classroom without a lot of distraction.

-Alerts us to novelty; tells us when someone is lying or making a joke
-Specializes in understanding the whole picture
-Specializes in music, art, visual-spatial and/or visual-motor activities

Right-brain students prefer to work in groups. They like to do art projects, industrial arts electives in middle school, and graphic design. They would prefer to design and make a mobile rather than write "another tedious term paper."

I do relate more to the left brain function .....and probably that is why my right face is the more healthy side. The good news is that  experts say we can all strengthen the weaker parts of our brains.

Syabas Ibnur... terima kasih kerana membuka tajuk ni beserta dengan contoh... rasa terkejut juga... jika watak... memang le ada 2 dalam diri kita... satu watak baik- dikawal oleh akal dan satu watak tak baik - di kawal oleh nafsu.... tapi bila lihat wajah pun ada dua... terfikir adakah wajah ini dipengaruhi oleh watak... adakah peranan otak juga mempengaruhi kejadian ini.. ?  Terima kasih kerana membuat saya terfikir untuk menilai diri melalui cara ini...

asalnya ialah bila ada mat saleh nak buat joke sebab tak puas hati dgn bush dan blair kerana perang iraq.  lalu dia buat gambar tu utk cari gambar muka jahat dia orang.  tu yg saya terpk buat thread ni.
