Cthnya kalau GMail, letak option Mask as Mozilla tu barulah dpt guna feature chat tu..

[align=justify]Aku pun tak suka nampak serabut.. Tapi dalam kes Opera ni.. Aku suka ada banyak2 button.. sebab aku ni jenis pemalas sket, kalau boleh semua benda aku nak automate.. So, dengan adanya button2 ni.. hobi surfing (well, it is actually 'berforum', ;)) aku menjadi lebih mudah. Ke mana saja aku nak pergi.. aku hanya perlu tekan satu button sahaja, tak perlu nak menaip2 kat address bar ataupun go through the messy Bookmark segala! :kant:

So, ini adalah rupa paras browser Opera kesayangan aku.. Aku dah cuba sedaya upaya mengefisienkan rekabentuk Opera aku dan dalam masa yang sama supaya ianya nampak KEMAS!

Nota: Nombor2 yang berwarna purple tu hanya sebagai panduan utk penerangan fungsi setiap button,

Spt deskripsi di atas, korang boleh nampak, untuk forum ni sahaja, ada 17 buttons!! (Those in BLUE and RED)

Oh ya lupa lak.. kalau korang perasan kat toolbar yang melintang bahagian sebelah kiri sekali tu ada icon Internet Explorer kan.. Actually itulah buttom IE Tab for Opera seperti yang dijelaskan di bawah. Harap maklum..

So, kesimpulannya kalau betul2 nak expect browser Opera ni detected as IE/FF.. better gunakan option Mask..

Patutlah dlm kes GMail tu kena guna option Mask As Mozilla..

Pasal IE Tab FF tu.. I'm not so sure sebab belum pernah guna but I know its existence..

[align=justify]Lagi satu kelebihan Opera ni berbanding IE/FF ialah.. korang boleh reuse button Submit Post/Post New Reply/Edit Post as many times as you like!

Meaning that, kalau korang suddenly dpt warning message Sorry, you could only post one message every 30 seconds, please return... Korang hanya perlu just simply press the Back button dan tekan semula butang2 tu.. Content posting korang masih ada!

Internet Explorer view inside OPERA??!! That's really great!!!

Ni aku cuba translatekan ke dalam Bahasa Melayu lak..

Isi borang ni dan teruskan utk download Neptune plugin http://www.meadco.com/neptune/download/

Tutup Opera

Double-click fail yang telah didownload tadi untuk mulakan installation. Ikut dan patuhi arahan seperti yang dipaparkan pada skrin untuk install.

Cari fail "npmeadax.dll" dalam Internet Explorer's plug-in folder (biasanya boleh dijumpai dalam C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\PLUGINS\). Copy fail ini kepada Opera's Plug-ins directory (by default C:\Program Files\Opera\Program\Plugins).

Buka Opera. Opera will locate the "npmeadax.dll" file and associate it with the MIME type application/x-meadco-neptune-ax

Pergi ke http://www.opera.com/support/search/supsearch.dml?index=415, scroll down ke bahagian bawah di mana terdapat link untuk tambah butang View in IE button kepada Opera toolbar. Ini bermakna, jika anda ingin view page yang berkenaan menggunakan engine IE, anda hanya perlu klik butang tersebut .



Neptune is a cross-browser plugin which hosts the WebBrowser control. By default it will only run ActiveX if the html embeds it as a application/x-meadco-neptune-ax object, but since most ActiveX uses the application/x-oleobject embed type I made this UserJS to replace the type:

Untuk enable UserJS pergi ke
Tools > Preferences > Advanced > Content > Javascript Options > Choose a folder at the button
To make the UserJS, go into the folder you just specified, make a new file called ActiveX.js and insert the code I just gave you.

To get windows update working in opera you need to quickly press the View in IE button before the page has loaded because it will of already loaded up http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/...n&&thankspage=5 and thats the same page that the ie plugin will load up

Btw.. Rasanya dgn the latest Opera tak berapa perlu sgt pun IE Tab tu.. Fly nak buat apa guna IE Tab tu sangat??

So, what browser are you expecting me are using now?

Cuba try Edit Site Preferences to and set to Mask as Internet Explorer and see whether it works.. Anyway, I don't have any major problem with CARI Forum at all when using Opera..

Meaning that kalau you guna FireFox pun but still have to use IE engine ke? Tak bestnya.. What for kita guna browser yg tak support website yg memang jadi rutin kita surfing tiap2 hari.. As for me, memanglah CARI Forum ni nadi sumber internet saya. And since I have no problem with it by using Opera, that's why I really love using this browser.

Anyway, kalau you ada any comments or complaints, you can always go here..

n i love my FF
but somehow i want to see what's the different with Opera n FF
what so fuss about it???

each time i used Opera
i can't edit my typing .. put the colour, edit the size, use the font type
compare tu FF ...... change to IE tab xtension .....
i can used it juz like IE

Itu yg mintak tolong you explain more details about your problem.. Coz I can't see any problem of changing font/color whatsoever when using Opera/FF.. Bukan apa, sebab kalau sebenarnya benda tu boleh solve.. dan sebenarnya takda problem pun dgn Opera.. so itulah point nya di sini.. Ehehe..

Cuba fly provide kan screenshot ke apa ke.. So that we can clearly understand what is so special about IE when it is used together with this forum..

And please tell me what version of Opera are u using for this case and what version of IE that are you referring about? Thanks for your cooperation..

[align=justify]Generally, neither Opera nor FF needs any extra extensions/plugins for common usage and function of this forum.. That's the point..

One more question, which platform are you using right now? Is it Mac or any other non-Windows platform?

bukan saja most of 'regular' actions tak boleh run dalam opera, kadang2 dia macam tersekat bila nak loading websites (even yang without animated gifs dan scripts)

wonder why.. :hmm: aku dah turn off kan 'pre-loading' whatsoeverlah nama dia, pun hmmm.. *geram* why oh why
