ygFC5 ni, aku nk install wifi pci pun kena tgk dlm list.
kalu takde dlm list, kena cari donlod driver scara manual lak.

mandriva yg aku kasi tu "mandriva one" (free Gnome).

aku ada 1 set lagi 4 keping cd. free.

4cd free:

Free 4 CD versions for your power-trials
Designed for Linux power-users, it consists of 4 CDs packed with purely Free (as in free speech *AND* free beer) software. It is available in 2 versions (i586 and x86-64).

If you want to trial the full power of our distribution, Mandriva Linux Free is for you.

ada jugak retail edition yg kena ada lesen utk support.

mandriva one:

yg aku donlod tu yg kaler oren (1cd) dgn biru (4cd) :
http://www.mandriva.com/en/download

New 3D desktop support and drak3D configuration tool

New 3D desktop support (AIGLX and Xgl) and a new tool to configure it (drak3d).

We are the first distribution to provide easy access to both technologies so that the hardware compatibility is as wide as possible. drak3d also features auto-detection of the best 3D solution, it choses between AIGLX and Xgl, either on KDE and GNOME.

Enjoy the Linux experience in 3 dimensions!

aku semalam baru jer donlod FreeSpire...dah test install..
best jugak pakai. FreeSpire ni version free dari Linspire.
Linspire ni dulu pakai nama Lindows. Tp, bermasalah lah pulak
ngan Microsoft. Sbb, Lindows seakan-akan sama sebutan ngan windows. Issue copyrighted.
Nak test yg free punya..... donlod sini: FREESPIRE

FreeSpire ni rasanya tak berapa mencabar compare ngan Fedora atau Mandriva.
Sbb aku tengok, org mcm aku yg selama ni guna windows, bila switch to freespire
proses 'klik2' tu berterusan...

Dlm FreeSpire ni kalau nak update just guna satu program nama CNR, stands for
"click & run". Tugasnya, install apa jua program Linux ke dlm OS just one click.
Maknanya, dah takyah guna 'terminal' atau apa jua 'command' spt linux lain...Klaau tak silap,
CNR ni sama fungsi dgn AUTOMATIX dlm OS Ubuntu. Dgn automatix tu, kita
boleh pilih mana program yg seswai utk install , cth antivirus, office suite atau utility lain....

cam biasa aaa kalau ram kecik aku on swap part...Biasanyer ok..cam ubuntu gak..kalau x guna swap part, laggg tahap gilerr..nak tggu KDE /Gnome Load mau beruban..

Tapi dari pengalaman aku nie, kalau RAM kecik, jgn pakai linux yg ada KDE/Gnome, pkai fluxbox. Tapi, mana ada user yg x nak pakai KDE/Gnome nie, user friendly!!

Persoalan..KDE/Gnome, mana paling best?

hehehehe aku nak describe pun payah, ko bleh tanya uncle wikipedia..Tapi ada kene mengena ngan desktop manager tool la..Memudahkan kita nie berhadapan ngan desktop..kire linux nie jadi user friendly la bila adanyer KDE/GNOME.

Contoh yg terbaik bleh prbezaan KDE & GNOME?
-slax linux KDE
- mandrive Linux GNOME..

Mana best? tentulah KDE kan? KDE lagi cantik drpd GNOME..tapi, dua2 pun senang..
Bayangkan kalau linux x pakai KDE/GNOME sure user takut nak guna linux coz x user friendly..

just a better GUI for user. windows dulu pun tak de macam tu. yang ada cuma apple. lepas tu windows ikut. lepas tu sun, hp ngan ibm ikut - walau mereka try as much as possible to maintain unix GUI. lepas tu, linux pulak.

Hari tu aku pakai Solaris takder semua tu, melainkan pakai CMDLine jer..
fening gak aku dibuatnya.....Antara KDE ngan Gnome, aku prefer KDE.
Kat Ubuntu pun dah boleh update pakai KDE, dipanggil Kubuntu. Kalau apa2 aplikasi yg bermula huruf 'K' tu, KDE lah...FreeBSD (Unix) pun dah best. User friendly gak.
Setau aku perbezaan antara KDE/Gnome nie tak berapa jauh. Dua2  ada komuniti masing2.
Kira mcm ikut selera (mcm oobi ckp)...
Perumpamaan mkn ayam, ada yg suka KFC, ada yg pilih McD, dua2 pun ayam goreng...hehe
