in 2001, i sewa 1 bedroom apt.. not far from city ... abt aud800/mth.. nice size n area selamat.. 3 mins walk to tram to city centre.. jln 10 mins ada train... ada tram to st kilda jugak.. byk restaurants..ie..kedai mkn indon... small mart.. its on glenferrie rd.. not sure laa hows the rate n safety now.. |

website www.realestate.com.au yg roxana bagi tu is very good. i cari rumah kat sini pun thru that website. apa2 pun jgn ambik agent LJ Hooker...sheeshhhhh... diorang tu cerewet banget la!!!! (tu yg i decided to move & terus change agents tu) |

tax memang mahal....lagi mahal gaji u dpt lagi byk tax u kena mahal..tu yg tak best....tapi,
sini ada Family tax benefit...and every end of the year ada tax return...cam gitu la..hehehe...
dapat la jugak balik duit kita yg dah kasi kat gov...utk keterangan lanjut gi kat website dia..www.ato.gov.au

ni utk yg dah PR je la...
suburb tu cam kawasan gitu la..neighbourhood...btol la tu cam u kata tu... |

yang xnak berdaftar kat MSD tu, takde la kat situ huhu
kalau persatuan org2 malaysia, aku tak sure.. maybe ko boleh tanya budak2 yang ada lagi kat situ

actually i kena berangkat ke melbourne hujung bulan ni and masih ragu ragu lagi.
visa tgh in progress..company baru suruh masuk keje 1 may..
macam mana nak cari rumah sewa?setakat ni takde langsung kenalan stay in melbourne.
ada jugak view website yg forummer listkan..and ada yg menarik tapi agak agak dorang terima ke nak booking?
lagi satu mcm mana nak pastikan rumah tuh ok?
kalau boleh nak dekat ngan train station..yelah pertama kali nak ke sana kan

Oh ya lagi satu..
macam mana ye nak apply insurance coverage?berapa kena bayar? ini termasuk dental treatment sekali ke tak?
i baru pakai braces 3 bulan so sayanglah nak quit..
tapi getah kena tukar every month..hope ada yg dpt advice pasal dentist too.. |

how to pastikan rumah tu ok?
once set on a house/several houses that you like, you will have to call up the real estate agent to buat appoinment for house viewing. some agents akan tanya your background semua tu, then they will set a date & time for you to view the house. but some agents tak suka asians... so they may not even set an appoinment for you.
after viewing, and youre satisfied, you have to apply for the house. then tgk la, what are your chances. sometimes a house can have up to 100 applicants. so agents will pick the best. agents normally favour if a company yang sewa... it gives them that security that even if you leave without having to bersihkan rumah...they could easily charge the company instead. approvals for your application may take up to a week or two. decission of your application is up to the houseowner.
a tip: drpd you call up just one house for viewing, better call up several houses. increases the chances of getting it and you know, some houses dr luar and description mmg best but there are times , indah khabar dr rupa.
about insurance.... in my case, ini company yg coverkan. but dental kat australia paling paling paling mahal. its so expensive that people sanggup fly to Thailand to have their dental check ups... no joke. but it all depends on whether its in your insurance. if its in, means your payment lagi mahal la. sediakan saja wang nyer...... |
