Just tossing in my 2-cents:
Many great minds of yesteryears had came out and touch the very topic at hand now. Some even came out of their field of expertise and gave brilliant views on it; my fav being the one that I put in my signature, and he was quoted on few other wise words.
Sun Tzu once came up with a guide that's been used up till present days; The Art of War.
The Art of War is a systematic guide to the strategy and tactics of how to defeat one's enemy decisively. Sun Tzu says that 憇upreme act of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting |

Yea.... ppl saw him and just wrote him off just another dreamer and a fool, pondering on things that none ever be able to see or prove it; well, some of his theories are still not proven or ever witnessed, bar mathematically...
You can add this other quote of him to that:
Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius (and a lot of courage) to move in the opposite direction.
I think that's why human's stupidity got no boundaries, even mathematically, as human's stupidity grows exponentially in respect to their knowledge....
Oh yeah, cantthinkofany.... We can still hear Einstein cuz he let loose his voice years ago; and by the First Law of Thermodynamics - The principle of conservation of energy states that energy cannot be created or destroyed, although it can be changed from one form to another.
So, close your eyes and listen very hard... I know you can do it, it's there.... |

Well, maybe they are stupid sometimes... hehehe But, try look at the other side of the coin; maybe rules regulations are there to satisfy another theory: Rules are meant to be broken...
Anyway, seriously; maybe those things are put in place just to stop the act of stupidity by humans. By making it looks stupid will satisfy humans inquisition of making it looks bad, thus, stupidly try to avoid it and making ppl in charge be able to gauge their level of stupidity.... hahaha, just disregard my ramblings in this gloomy and rainy Monday evening....
Don't get me wrong though.... I think it's good to have a clear & practical SOP in any entities. Take it from me, I've been around in computer and technologies; a headache and a sure mess without one. |
