Tapi den benci tul firefly ni..bila dia nak buat flight ke sabah/sarawak?tak sabar nak gi melancong

erk..ape plak.. Inertial Reference System (IRS) tu mmg kene pakai.. xkesah 737, 777, 330, hercules, atr skalipun. GPS utk tau position je. bukan accurate coordinate

slalu nek fireflyz nie..senang ngan selesa....biasa ler..turbo prop yg xbising..mcm nek jet gak..da tue..terbang dlm 16k feet..mmg nampak jer bawah..rasa secure jer

short distance rendah je cruising altitude. cam 737 kul-kuantan cruising altitude 15000ft. sampai 15000ft dalam 5minit, pastu dah start descend.

sebenarnyekan.. lagi tinggi cruise lagi selamat. bawah banyak turbulance.

ingat lagi instructor aku penah cakap mase mude2 mak die pesan "Fly safe ok son. Keep it low and dont go higher." 1 kelas gelak dengar die cakap camgitu.

owh...kalau short distance terbang rendah er?sbb apa er?...kalau atas awan tue..tgk ada yg kena turbulance gak...ke masa nek...hurm...takot gak ngan turbulance nie..so far xpnah kena lagi masa nek fireflyz..kena pon sikit jer..tu mcm gegar sikit jer...

yele..da dekat je..xyah nk climb tinggi2..kapal airline x leh naik dongak/codak sgt..mcm x sesuai je..slalu mcm Boeing MH naik tu pun dlm 7darjah> je..tu pun stewardess da jln mcm nk mengelunsur je time serving..

jet stream dengan CAT atas cerain level dan predictable macam, terbentuk kat sub-tropical anticyclones, bergerak dengan sub-tropical highs
25 to 40* pada musim sejuk dan 40 to 45* pada musim panas pastu jet core plak kat level 200milibar atau dapatkan info dari Met forcast or report sebelum fly.

Terbang rendah silap haribulan boleh kena tarik ke ground terus terutama bila dah termasuk dalam rotor cloud (standing wave) atau dalam area thunderstorm. Takpun paling common, kena windshear. Macam FEDex kat narita airport aritu.

Turbulance cloud ada updraughts dan downdraughts sebab tu ilot selalu elak terbang hampir dengan awan terutama comulo nimbus, mamatus, stratocomulus dan status. Kapalterbang macam 737 or 320 kalau awan tu biasa, redah je. tapi kalau light aircraft, sikit awan je dah rase roller costernye. awan patut dielak kerana kuasa sedutan naik atas bawah + air batu 2-3kali ganda dari batu bata (Hail) memang hazard.

ade jugak turbulance takde awan macam jetstream n CAT dan jugak gust front. (area nama gust front ni extend 20-40km dari centre thunderstorm.)

td baru lepas naik..flight tgh ari..duduk sebelah female pilot fireflyz..dok interview die ler...hehe...minat punya pasal...rasa kejap jer..upanya..atr nie max cruise die 23k feet..baru tau..tinggi dia ikot route...mcm dia kata..kalau ke koh samui..akan fly tinggi lagi sbb dense air...kalau mcm ke alor setar..16@17k feet da memadai...tu pon td sampai awal 15 minit awal dari schedule..mmg best sgt..co pilot wong if not mistaken n kapt muzafar...tp expericence paling valuable dapat duduk sbelah female pilot firefly tu la...mmg beruntung sgt2...tq 4 all the information..walaupon ada terms yg xpaham....tp ayat akak tu bila tanya ttg crosswind landing ngan bad weather..dia reply mcm nie...tawakal ngan selwat,,,baca doa...then ayat paling penting die..."dunt ever let the aircracft control u, u r the one who control it"mmg tue buat aku rasa knfident sgt...

betul lah tu. =) crosswind. kalau x confident, go around kalau tak crash. drifting kene pandai tapi depends pada crosswind limitation pada aircraft dan pada pilot tu jugak.

The main reason firefly tak naik tinggi sebab ia guna propeller.
Propeller efficiency normally max height 23K atau 25k kaki jer.
