puncanya sebab kerosakan weather radar jer. Radar tu tak kene mengena dengan runway or airport detection. Its help the pilots to navigate through the weather untuk cari laluan yang paling minimum effect weather tu.
Airport detection totally on different system. Its under the flight management computer intergrated with the radio navigation aids. Tak ada weather radar pun boleh jumpa airport tu...  kalau semua tak berfungsi, boleh request radar vector jer, pandai la controller @ekod79 bagi direction ke KLIA..

so kes ni nak jaga keselamatan penumpang jer, takut terlambung lambung bila masuk weather nanti ada yang cedera.. and again decision to continue or not depend on the judgement of the captain. kalau dia dapat report weather nak masuk ke KLIA memang teruk dengan hujan dan awan tebal berkepul kepul, it was a good idea la untuk berpatah balik. Kalau sebaliknya... teruskan jer lah.

Oh, begitu rupanya.
Tp mmg cuaca teruk pun tadi, kuat tul ribut, kat atas nun tak tahu la camne. So, mmg a wise decision la.

bab melambung atau drop altitude ini kalau jenis pilot main redah jah itu apa kes nya?
hauk sangat masa akak balik langkawi dolu yg pilot MAS main redah masuk awan tebal sampai gayat dlm perut rasa akak(akak syak drop altitude), cikki2 dlm pesawat dah terjerit2.
trauma kejap akak.

bila dia redah pun mcm menggelupor gitu mcm dia naikkan muncung pesawat dan tekan lebih sikit minyak padahal time tu tgh descending nak landing, pucat juga la akak kejap dah la tak lama lepas pesawat QZ crashed
