Mazz seingat vios biasanya kalau tak period doktor akan bagi ubat untuk period lepas tu baru makan... he he he... vios pun dah ingat2 lupa maklumlah dah lama tak buat rawatan..... |

hello...saya baru jer bersalin 3 bulan yg lepas..just nak share my experiences & journey prior to being pregnant...
saya kawin lambat, when i was 35 years old, which was last year. since umur pun dah banyak, after sebulan kawin in march 2008, terus pegi one private hospital in shah alam...nak mintak advise lah itu ini pasal how to conceive etc since i m already 35 years old, so that kalau ada problem, kita boleh detect early....this female doctor (quite young) yg attend to my case...dok sibuk pick up henpon n mentioned that she need to rush to the airport...........bila i masuk jer bilik doctor, without asking whether i nie pregnant ke tak....dia terus suruh i baring nak check perut, i cakap i tak pregnant...i just need to know whether i m ok and takder masalah utk conceive etc.........dia trus tanya apa yg i nak tau..hmmm if only kita tau, takder ler la kita tanya dia kan..... huhu time tu rasa macam nak penampar jer doctor tu....in the end dia cuma expain pasal cycle period & ovulation in general.....itu jer....and daaaaaaaaaaa.....after that kena bayar rm60 consultation fees.......benda nie kat internet pun bleh find out....that's it, i told my hubby, saya takkan jejak kan kaki kat hospital tu lagi.....forever hospital nie saya akan blacklist...
then few weeks after that, saya pegi lagi one fertility hospital kat damansara....so ok.. hospital nie was much better that the previous one, coz at least dr tu tanya pasal my period, and then terus buat vaginal ultrasound scan..after buat scan tu, muka dr tu macam cuak jer....dia cakap i ada pcos, and fibroid. so i tanya la what r the chances for me to get pregnant? dr tu cakap yes u can get pregnant, but the chances r low..kalau pregnant pun, senang miscarriage. time tu jantung rasa nak gugur.....then dr tu suggest i buat laparascopy the following week...citing that chances to get preggy wil be higher..
lepas tu, hati saya memang tak tenteram...susah hati giler....when i told my hubby, he said apasal nak rush since both of us baru kawin....he told me to be patient....after consult my parents, my parents pun advise jgn kelam kabut nak operate perut itu ini....so i tak jadi la buat laparascopy tu...
tapi..hati saya stil tak tenteram...after korek2 info kat internet, i pun pegi la kat one clinic kat shah alam...i told the dr about the previous dr advise i.e the laparascopy thingy etc.....he said it's nonsense...he said i baru jer kawin, though i ada pcos n fibroid, it doesnt mean that i cannot get pregnant....he cited an example..`u baru beli kereta ...u baru pakai sekejap...takkan u nak terus overhaul kereta tu bila u notice ada defect sikit2...mesti u kena repair dulu.........' he further mentioned that it's not the first case yg dia tau...dah ada patient dia sebelum tu yg jumpa dr yg sama, and dapat advise yg sama.....apparently that's how those doctors / hospitals make money......geleng2 kepala doctor tu....
mula2 dia tak nak bagi i buat apa2 pun since masa tu i baru sangat kawin, tapi i insist jugak that i dont wanna wait coz of my age....since i pun degil, at last dia prescribe jugak la clomid 5 bijik....makan sebijik sehari bila period nanti........
n guess what....sebulan lepas tu my pregnancy test was positive....yes, i m pregnant...without having to do laparascopy!! bila i pegi balik klinik tu, dr tu senyum n congratulate me...i cuma kena datang seminggu sekali for the next few weeks utk ambik injection kuatkan rahim.....after that, sebulan sekali check-up....and three months ago..my lovely daughter was born....alhamdulillah normal delivery.......
my advise to forumers....jgn pegi satu tempat jer for fertility advise.....get 2-3 other opinion....some doctors memang akan advise buat laparascopy punya...cyst sikit pun nak kena buat, particularly bila they know that the surgery is covered by the employer..... |

hahaha, mmg klinik dia nampak tak menarik langsung... mcm klinik sensei. actually klinik tu, both husband & wife doctor. Husband dia, Dr Khoo yg pakar bab2 fertility. Kalau u pegi memana branch seremban, puchong or pandan indah, Dr Khoo personally akan attend to all pesakit. Depa rotate, that's why always kene call n make appointment, so that they can bring your file along. |

Pasal cost tu, the first visit mmg agak mahal, boleh jadi around 1k plus (termasuk ubat2). And lupa nak bagitau, treatment Dr Khoo ni melibatkan kedua2 husband n wife. So your hubby pun kene makan gak ubat2 tuk improvekan sperm & dalaman. Better bawak all the reports & sperm count analysis the first time u visit Dr khoo. No matter what the reports says (normal etc), Dr Khoo akan buat another blood test for both hubby n wife. Bacaan normal Dr Khoo tak sama dgn modern punya. His main concern is about your hormones & sperm count, selalunya modern kata normal, tp still doesn't meet his standards. He has different approach & own standards/expectations. Another thing, he's against vaginal scan, dia scan perut je. |

Agree 100%! Always kene dapatkan 2nd or 3rd opinion, walaupun kita rasa doctor tu dah bagus or hospital tu dah bagus.
I had a friend, been trying to conceive, so dia jumpa few doctors. One of it, doctor kat ampang putri. After all the check-up, doctor diagnos dia ade cancerous punya cell kat dlm rahim. So doctor ni cepat2 suruh schedule surgery nak buang rahim. Then luckily she went to another doctor, kat prince cout plak. Check2, sbenarnya mana ade cancerous cell! Now my friend tu dah pregnant, tunggu masa nak deliver je. So, kene beware, zaman skrang ni, doctor byk yg pikir duit jee! |
