From 27th June, the Wonder Girls will begin a new chapter in America asthe opening act for the Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009 (American leg),with their last on 22nd August. They will be opening for the JonasBrothers for 13 of their concerts in 7 cities, so check the schedulefor the actual dates. English versions of their Korean hit songs Nobodyand Tell Me will also be released soon.
According to a JYPEntertainment representative, "The Wonder Girls had signed with one ofHollywood's top talent agencies, CAA in October 2008. They also inked acontract with Jonas Brothers company, Jonas Group to join them on theirconcert tour. They will also release the english version of Nobodyfirst followed by Tell Me through digital channels. Their full-lengthenglish album will be available in September or October."
Withregards to using Nobody as the debut single, the JYP Entertainmentrepresentative explained, "Through discussions with CAA (CreativeArtists Agency) and Jonas Group, they felt that Nobody had anirresistible charm surrounding it. The music and overall feel of thesong were perfect plus it helped to accentuate the image of the WonderGirls very well. Industry critics in America also felt that the retro80s disco style of Nobody would be particularly refreshing, especiallyin the American music scene."
As the producer for the WonderGirls, JY Park also outlined to the media about his strategy withregards to Asian singers debuting in the European and American musicmarkets. He said, "Formerly, Asian singers would rush to docollaborations with musicians in that country when they enter thatmarket. But that's a grave mistake. We cannot just hand our artistesover to the American-European producers, we have to stand our groundand maintain our own unique flavor. Although the Wonder Girls and I arekinda nervous, we are also contended and excited about this at the sametime. This is something that we have planned together for a long time,so I am sure we will not let everyone down. We hope that everyone willcontinue to show their support for us."

Translation for the words under the picture of a young Sunye: “look at how she is smirking keke how cute… looks like a lil bunny hehe”
Doesn’t seem too incriminating of a post in my opinion, but fangirls like ellie and Wonder Girls’ fanboys may think otherwise. The most interesting part about these internet rumors are the netizens’ responses. The comments range from complete disbelief and anger to people who claim that they are 99% sure that the two JYP stars dated while they were trainees. The general consensus that I can retrieve from comments is that even if they did date in the past, they are no longer an item.
