i knew idol and sapik punye tones, and ur vocal range and capabilities.
both of u unik, and i might say fall to different categories.meaning, wajar ke nak compare avril lavigne dgn christina aguilera.
but having said that, headtone idol mmg best, but he weak in falsettoand the transition from chest to falsetto ( agaknnya ni yg akandinamakan sebagai passagio) but my bahasa is bridge. but shuffeak isvery excellent in falsetto, but headone wise is not as rich as idolfan.
Errr... head tone and falsetto apa bezanya? Head tone is just the english term for the italian word falsetto. Same register, different language terms. Please jangan terkeliru. I have noticed that most local vocal teachers (especially those trained locally by local teachers) have misunderstood this. And a lot of vocal students are learning this wrong mistake and propagating this misunderstood terminology.
Falsetto means false, and it is the italian term used to describe the 'false' voice above the chest and middle registers, i.e. head register. Also known as head voice, or head tone.
Men have three registers: chest, middle (a blend of chest and head), and head (falsetto). Women generally have two: chest (often the speaking voice) and head. Some are lucky and have a third register: the whistle register, like Mariah Carey and Nikki. Some men, with proper training, can develop the whistle register, like Hazami.

chest voice is ur speaking languange. ur normal voice.
and if you go down subut ghaaaaaa, ghaaaaarrrrr u will reach the maximum lowest note but kena tahu breating n placement kot.
falsetto, cuba u sebut huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu, tp secara sebutan angin, hurmmmm ni susah nak bagilah
headtone, cuba u sebut weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee makin lama makin tinggi weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
cuba u tanya abng vern lak? |

I don't know which gurus you learned from but I studied at the Royal School of Church Music and also at the London College of Music and both schools were quite clear. Falsetto and head voice or head tone are the same thing, just different terms.
A lot of vocal teachers make this common mistake. I am now trying to rectify this lack of understanding in terminolgy so as not to confuse the contestants here.
You can make a note sound airy or you can thicken it by adding support and focus, but the note is still the same note in the same register. And either it is in the chest register or in the head register. (You can sing the same note in two different registers ONLY when it is part of your passagio. Some people have wide passagios, but the general span is about three notes.)
Please don't confuse yourself. |

morning vern.
its quite weird forme, i cant buat falsetto mcm shuffeak leh buat. but i can access soprano punya kind of sound...mcm mane nak ckp ek..my falsetto tends to sound higher and louder...kalau falsetto mcm whispery tu..its difficult for me to do... |
