Saya baru je abis baca 'Lucky' by Alice Sebold...every girls' nightmare..this is her true account of being rape during her college year.:cry:
brutal lah citer ni..first chapter je dah ada description on how she got raped..and she was a virgin masa tue...takut saya baca chapter nie..
it tells her how she deals with the aftermath...
towards the end she managed(after many years) to capture her rapist..buku ni mengajar kita supaya byk bersabar...and never to give up..its very inspirational....
kenapa tajuk dia "LUCKY"?
bcos police said she was lucky that she wasnt murdered that day.....

sesuai untuk relax, sebab bahasa mudah dan plot tak berat. ending tak menarik dan cerita ni a bit cliche'..
yang bestnyer ia kelakar dan sangat romantik. |

Alice Sebold rings a bell...the writer to Lovely Bones rite...i love the book..pernah baca tak..its about a teenage girl name Susan Salmon (like the fish..hehe) who was raped & killed by one of her neighbors...the story tells about her watching her family from heavan...
sedih buku ni...sob sob:cry: maybe becoz Lovely Bones came from her experience of being rape...& what wud happened if she died.. |

not bad larr,for light reading..
mengisahkan ttg kehidupan dirinye setelah berkahwin dgn Yeslam,abg Osama..
As a foreigner,dia menceritakan bagaimana kehidupan di saudi sbg salah seorang keluarga yg mempunyai byk privilege....
mostly abt her struggle for freedom..

Sinopsis : KAU YANG SATU

pada sherrina, buku nie best. walaupun jalan ceritanya agak 'common' dimana kisah2 spt ini agak slalu didedahkan samada melalui buku mahupun drama dan filem, tetapi pengolahan cerita ini menarik. Buku ini juga dikatakan 'hot stuff' didalam pasaran kerana kawan sherrina yg beli buku nie hanya menjumpainya di Kinokuniya. Di kedai2 buku lain tidak ada, barangkali sold out.
