Azzu, 3 jam tu agak lama juga. Mmg cream cheese suhu panas akan jd lembik. Buttercream pun sama kalau cuaca panas mmg akan lembik je. Sbb kengkadang kalau saya tgh deko kat umah saja pun waktu cuaca panas Cream cheese tu lembik dan cepat cair susah sikit nk deko. Tambah lagi kalau deko yg ada border2 yg ropol2 tu. Nk selamat cam sapu topping seluruh kek yg biasa je takde border yg berisiko 'runtuh' huhu...

Salam nak tanya. Hari tu buat red velvet cake guna resepi joyofbaking, tapi kek lambat masak and tak naik,saya guna self raising flour. Tapi kek tetap jadi sedap and moist cume tak naik. Kalau guna cake flour atau tepung gandun biasa kene pakai baking powder tak, kalau pakai guna berapa sudu?And then pakai suhu berapa darjah celcius. Saya guna 180 Celcius tapi kek cepat hitam kat atas and tengah tak masak. Appreciate your kind feedbacks.Thanks.

Salam zoomin, ikut je sebiji2 resipi joy of baking tu. Resipi tu mmg tak guna self-raising flour. Guna tepung gandum biasa sahaja, satu sudu teh soda bikarbonat/ baking soda yg dicampur bersama cuka/lemon dan dimasukkan di akhir step. Tak pakai serbuk penaik (baking powder).
Oven stiap org lain2 walaupun dalam resipi tulis suhu. Yang penting kite kene kenal sendiri suhu oven kite macam mana.
Zoomin bakar pada 180c berapa lama yer? Macam saya nyer oven lebih kurang 180c juga yg dibakar selama 45min (utk yg dibahagi pada 2 loyang). Kalau adunan setengah lagi cepat masak dalam 30min kalau dalam dua loyang juga.

Kak azzu, kalo kak azzu nk gantikan cream cheese topping dengan buttercream. Utk buttercream tu ada resipi yg tahan cair yg letak kat luar tak mudah cair di mana adunan buttercreamnyer ada campuran butter dan shortening. Guna shortening dalam buttercream leh bertahan dalam cuaca panas. Ye ikut resipi sebiji2 joyofbaking. Saya bakar dekat satu jam, pakai suhu 177 to 180. Letak baking soda+lemon. Kek jadi cuma tak naik tinggi, takpe nak cuba lagi. Practice makes perfect. Tqsm srikandi for your useful advise.
