Ha aa Nurin, J pun rasa Bali ni when it comes to shopping, kraftangan, ukiran kayu or painting are the most. Bali ni the attraction more towards the island's fabled culture, romantic beaches, sunset over rice fields and so on. On the other hand, Bali ni pun known for the glittering night life & sophisticated dining, hip night clubs and first class spa,especially Seminyak, has become so stylish that it has been dubbed as the "Ibiza of SEA." Eh Baru ni Bali ada hantor contigent ke Mardi Grass Sydney weii, pirst taim kata nyer....Hmmmm:hmm:

Nurin gi Bali ni main redah je ngan hubby. Dapat Free promo Air Asia, just pay the Tax je. Ticket plus hotel tak sampai RM500. Anyway banyak gak dapat infor form all the gang in this forum.

Bali:

1. Pegi ke Kintamani/Ubud - tapi jangan beli dengan penjual jalanan kat sana okay!
2. Pegi ke Bedugul Lake - tasik tempat tinggi. Bedugul ni macam Cameron Highland, tapi lagi lawa
3. Tanah Lot - memang romantik habis tempat ni, especially kalau time sunset
4. Jalan-jalan di Nusa Dua/Kuta/Legian
5. Makan Nasi Padang (ada Natrabu Restoran) dan Seafood di Jimbaran.
6. Try pegi the other side of Bali for sea sports/travel

Kuta/Legian is the most happening place. Ada memorial untuk first bombing victims di jalan legian.

info dr forum ni mmg usefull...... white pun sama cam Nurin... bile hubby plan je nk honeymoon kt bali.. terus masuk forum ni cari info... mmg berguna sgt.... thanx to all.......

Ada sesiapa pernah duk di Ramada Bintang Bali Resort..ok tak & dekat ak dgn kuta . And between Pasar Sukawati & Tanah Lot, mana yg barang2 lebih murah

Plan nak pergi bali for 5D4N soon, so nak tanya

1) kalau sewa kete kat bali nak kene international driving license tak?
2) I prefer stay kat area yang tak ramai orang, how about ubud? ok tak?

ubud mmg sesuai kalo u xnak org ramai.... nk drive sendiri ke?? white dulu guna tourist guide sendiri .. murah gak... if nisda nak leh pm white.....

been to bali 3 times this year.all i can say is...... BALI IS SO BEAUTIFUL.

so far kalo i di bali i terus ko UBUD.i tak stay in kuta.

accomodation wise,ada yang murah,yang medium range dan yang mahal.
for my last trip i stay kat pasar ubud.it was less than S$10 a night plus breakfast.
(sorri tak remember the exact cost) me and my wife,we are sort of a backpacker traveller,we don't spend much on accomodation.asalkan the room is clean,that will do for us.

if you need rooms,check on the internet.
they are plenty of options.from the cheap to the expensive.

a bit on pasar ubud,this is like the main market in ubud.
if you like to see people and culture...go the the market early...you can see so many things here.cara dorang buat prayers,the way they hold the flowers,renjis the water...it looks interesting to me.
kat sini you can buy souvenirs bermacam ragam,barang dapur,batu tumbok for buat belacan,t-shirts,rottan trays and bags,candle holders,mirrors,knives etc etc etc
i just love this place.

if you love nature...may i suggest you go to TEGALALLANG.the rice field are so beatiful.they are at the hill slopes.along the way there are small cafe too,have a drink and enjoy the view.

DRIVING IN UBUD: please get a driver.i do not reccomend for tourists to drive at night.the local drivers know the roads here.it is dangerous to drive at night,you make a sharp turn and on your right is a deep ravine.some roads tak ada lampu at night...salah salah turn,nanti termasuk longkang.
i can't remember how much i paid my driver,but for peace of mind,engage a driver.

I masih not sure whether nak pakai tourist guide atau sewa kete, sebab we don't have fix schedule lagi dan tak suka berjalan ikut fix time atau tour. Tapi i would appreciate kalau you boleh pm kat i contact you dan how much u bayar dia for 2 hari. Tourist guide ni jenis yang kita kene ikut schedule dia atau dia bawak kita kemana kita nak pergi?

Hi matz,

I dan hubby pun jenis independent traveller, tak suka ikut tour. Hati masih frust sebab we plan nak gi tempat lain tapi flight full, menyesal pergi matta. This time, insyallah nak duduk hotel bagus sikit sebab kami ada budget. Mungkin semalam di kuta dan lagi 3 malam di ubud.

hi,
in my case, my friend is the the driver and guide,i tell him i would like  to visit sekian sekian tempat....and he will settle the itenary.
before you go,do a research,get a map of bali....have a rough idea of the places that you want to cover,the driver/guide will do the rest.

i dare not reccommend,itu hari my jeep was a bit run down.aircon tak kuat
and it was an old vehicle.i don't feel nice reccommending you the service,and it falls
way way below your expectation.
i give and take with my balinese friend,no hal with the old car.
my friend charge me a brudda brudda price...macam staff rate gitu.
he drove me once  last year,and 3 times this year.
i don't really  mind the short coming.

some people are very particular about this things,they pay a certain amount of money and they expect more than  a good service.

the actuall going rate i will try to check on the net for you.
btw,kat depan hotel and the main road of ubud ada banyak driver for hire.
