New firmware update for Nokia N82
has been released (MCU SW v30.0.018)

Right after Nokia N95-1 and Nokia N95 8GB another Nseries phone gets its v30 firmware.

Firmware v30.0.019 for Nokia N82 is available through the Nokia Software Updater but only for the generic product Euro 1 product codes and will be available progressively in the next few days at the official Nokia Service Points.

In case you can抰 wait to get the latest update you can easily change the product code to one of the EURO I codes via Nemises Nokia Service Suite aka NSS and than update a phone via Nokia Software Updater.

Unfortunately full change log is not available at the moment but I believe it is just a minor update that should improve the performance, fix known bugs and problems from previous versions and brings some more than welcome updates for the preinstalled applications like, Nokia Maps, Nokia Search, etc.

The bad news is that this firmware is NOT HACKABLE at least it is confirmed that Hello Carbide method is not working so better think twice before the update and wait until someone will try the older but (tweaked) app trk method!

That's all I know for now, I'll be pretty limited this weekend because I am attending on the Nokia Open Lab in Helsinki so better join the pretty active forum discussion to get the latest news regarding to just released software update for Nokia N82.

Keduanya saling berkait. Klu blh hack skalipun, nokia map x blh instal jgk.

Nokia N82 Version: 30.0.019

Walaupun n82 latest firmware dah dibubuh pelindung untuk dihack tapi mgkin nokia terlupa yang N82 ada feature UDP (User DataPreservation).
Kalau pengguna masih ingat, bila korang update fw sebelumnya, korang tak perlu buat backup sbb N82 dah ada feature UDP.

Korang boleh manipulate UDP feature ni dgn hack dulu N82 korang sebelum update. File installserver.exe akan remain berada dalam N82 selepas diupdate. Walaupun N82 korang dah guna latest Version: 30.0.019 korang still blh install Unsigned Files & View/Edit System Files & Folders Through ActiveFile.
Cara2 nak hack
1. Run Hellocarbide
2. Pindah installserver.exe ke c:\sys\bin
3. install activefile

Langkah 2,3 kena guna file yg aku attach ni:
