thats the only book i reckon --grisham used kid as protagonist
and as first person -- (the client - robbie is not the protagonist
more to --- the person in trouble --- his lawyer - the woman
-- cant recall her name -- the protagonist -- )
my view --->> painted house --- interesting story ---
not the best book from him -- but -- interesting - |

the first time i read Painted House.... it was so so boring..... then one really boring day, I decided to reread the book..... and gosh.... it was so captivating...... cant put the book down...... |

maybe when i started reading it I was waiting for a thriller, attorneylike story....and when the storyline surfaced as a very harsh life of cotton farmers I was tuned out of the book and lost interest..... |

xde siapa lagi yg baca the innocent man? aku tgk kat popular 20% disc for member...so dpt arnd rm70 for hard cover. nak tnggu paper back..tnggu la 3-4 bulan lagi. kalo siapa yg baca tu review skit sini..berbaloi x spend for rm70 but for hard cover..
tp kalo go thru novel tu cam bes..elemen captivating tu mcm ada...page gripping pon mcm ada...and the best thing since this is a true story...the research is a MUST and well prepared if not many parties concern will upset if it turns not to be as true as it may... |

novel tu ada lagi...tp sayang nk jual ,cadang nk buat collection coz ini the 1st n the last non fiction from JG.tp kalo dpt gud price from u all...i will consider.. |

ermm... this book a little bit slow sket (or maybe very slow)... but i quite like the story after i read it the 2nd time... kalau baca buku nih... mmg tak rasa it is a grisham's book... totally different... if somebody give me the book without the cover, only the story, i don't think i can guess it is grisham's story.. tp this story walaupun slow... quite touching laa... tp i won't read the book when i feel depressed...  |

today i was not feeling well, so dpt mc from the doc... i took the opportunity to read innocent man by grisham.... the books is good... this is different from other grisham's book... because it is a true story... siap dengan date, starting from the seventies, sampai sekarang... but the way he put the story into words, captivated me...
this story told us about the injustice that happens in small towns, that cause innocent men is convicted on the murder that they did not commit, and have to spent half of the adult years behind bars.. grisham start the book with the crime first, than he introduced the background of the men who is involved... the story of their life..
personally, i like the way he wrote this book, like it too much, i felt that i was there, and helplessly watching the outrageously unfair proceeding of investigation and conviction of the crime... mmg sakit hati sgt.. |
