verdik aku:
-kalau pasal originality cerita,dah tentu IA menang.
-dari segi 'execution'(arahan), filem The Departed ini lebih baik dpd Infernal Affairs. it's Scorsese, dude.
-dari segi skrip,The Departed lebih baik.
-kelebihan utama IA adalah ia ada Tony Leung yang aku rasa memang nadi kepada filem IA.
-dari segi lakonan, pelakon2 filem The Departed lebih baik dan watak2nya lebih menarik/mendalam dpd IA. lakonan Leo DiCaprio is the highlight here.boleh dikatakan setanding dengan Tony Leung.Matt Damon pulak memang jauh lebih baik dpd Andy Lau yg kayu tu.but the most interesting performance here is Mark Walhberg, who gives his best performance to date.certainly his breakthrough performance. All around every single actor chews their every scene.
-kelemahan The Departed adalah endingnya.yang seakan2 dah malas nak add something new.
so kesimpulannya aku bagi 'slight edge' kpd The Departed.sbb walaupun aku tau jalan ceritanya, The Departed still feels 'fresh'.

i agree on most of ur points..
1.setuju
2.okayla...not a big fan of him though, but yeah...
3.script - gotta admit, yes....i think with the harsh and vulgar language, it kinda connects and suitable for the movie......not too sure bout IA, but from my very little understanding of cant, there arent any...i dont know know...
4.not sure....atas pagar....i rather like Andy Lau's acting.....
5.true.......DiCaprio's something huh? he really stunned me....
6. ending of the movie.......ok, they changed it from IA, but...so so......
allright then, im off to watch IA 2, to watch Eddy and Shawn Yue....... |

actually the ending is the same as Infernal Afairs 3.basically The Departed combines IA,IA2 and IA3.
my advice,dont bother watching IA2 and IA3.aku rasa cam nak lempang je 2 ekor budak muda yg jadi watak andy lau ngan tony leung tu.sampah gila belakon.

eddy and shawn yue ok per...i enjoyed their acting...i do agree that they're not the best actor.....

ada sapa2 dah tengok citer ni? jom kita sembang2 pasal citer ni...:pmuka:
i sebenarnya rindu nak tengok citer ala2 investigate ni...:love: dulu2 memang banyak giler filem macam ni... tapi sekarang takde dah musim citer2 gini..i tengok Departed ni di wayang pada hari pertama lagi.
memula i sangka Matt Demon tu jadi watak baik dlm citer rupa2nya jadi orang jahat.. maklumlah i dah terpengaruh dgn watak dia dlm The Bourne Identity. :love: bukan jahat la, juz dia tersepit dgn bapak angkat dia jer..dalam dilema la kiranya..tapi disebabkan nak tolong bapak angkat dia, banyak orang tak berdosa terbunuh, apa pon cerita kan...
anyway i suka watak Leonardo Dicaprio dalam citer ni... part paling sedih masa dia terkejut masa boss dia mati, berair mata jugak la tengok :cry:...
tapi sampai part tengah citer tu, i rasa boring jugak la... i akui citer ni agak boring gak la, cuma ending jer rasa best sikit.. at least citer ni setingkat best dari Miami Vice yang banyak sembang2 jer...bosan giler, nasib baik beli DVD jer :kant:
apa pendapat korang , best tak citer nih? i suppose maybe ramai kata boring kot.. :hmm: |

yg kata 'boring' tu orang yg tak cukup 'attention span' je..
tak patut filem ni dikatakan 'boring'. walaupun bukan filem terbaik dpd Scorsese,tapi aku rasa filem ni paling 'accessable' dlm byk2 filem dia.
anyway watak yg dibawa oleh Leo dan Gosling mmg berlawan.Gosling bawak watak yg lebih 'understated'/lebih bersahaja dan byk mainan emosi,Leo on the other hand lebih agresif,intense and over-the-top(in the good sense)
