pickup = dohc & sohc = takde beza sangat
ekonomi = dohc
torque = sohc

Depends on application laa... kalau nakkan keter yang power dan ekonomik, pengeluar akan pakai enjin DOHC... kalau nakkan keter yang tork dier kuat ataupun yang lebih murah sket untuk dibina, diorang akan pakai enjin SOHC laa (kos membina enjin SOHC lebih rendah drp DOHC sebab pakai 1 camshaft jer)...

Aku rasa pickup, torque, top speed  DOHC lebih baik dari SOHC. Reasonnya camshaft punya load factor. SOHC - satu camshaft operate semua valve. DOHC satu camshaft operate fuel/air mixture valves dan lagi camshaft operate exhaust valves.  So for DOHC, the camshaft response faster and engine can run at higher RPM  due to smaller load/resistance on the camshaft. Anyway ada byk lagi aspect lain yg kita kena tgk spt low end torque, high end torque, how flat is the torque throughout all RPM range dan lain-lain.  Kena buat dyno test dan see the result.

Tork ni dalam bahasa Melayunya ialah kilasan... senang citer, tork ni ialah daya memulas laa... dalam enjin, tork dihasilkan time lejang kuasa bila piston bergerak ke bawah dan menggerakkan crankshaft melalui con rod laa.

Macam horsepower, tork diukur dengan menggunakan dynamometer time wat dyno test. Ada 2 cara nak ukur tork, iaitu sama ada tanggalkan enjin dan ukur tork kat flywheel ataupun just ukur tanpa cabut enjin dari keter / motor. Cara kedua lebih tepat untuk dapatkan tork bersih sebab sebahagian tork akan hilang melalui geseran kat transmission system.

Tork lebih tinggi membolehkan kenderaan bawak barang berat. Sebab tu la tork lori sumer besar2. Dan tu gak la sebab naper tork keter Kelisa lebih besar daripada Yamaha YZF-R1 padahal kuasa kuda YZF-R1 tu lak lagi tinggi drp Kelisa.
