My bad..xtau pun aku telco malaysia support 3.5G.. anyway I ate my word..'cos now I'm officially an Omnia owner!!

What can be said of the phone?..

We know how great the thing is so let's take a look on some deficiencies:

1. In bright daylight..yeah as u might guess..screen mmg pyh tak nampak..hampeh

2. Bateri? say standby time tanpa any application on..aku rasa around 2 days abisla..itupun dgn begitu byk power save mode yg dah diactivate..tp logikla with screen that big u aint complaining..samsung punya official figure is plain BS..tp tak mungkin sampai 450 hrs..still you on the screen and godek2 sket app tu ini...6 jam abis kot

3. Slot for stylus xde!!..so dangling all around the phone..tapiii....stylus nye very stylish, solid and better built than any plactic crap that u have seen with any other phone!!

4. micro SD not hot swappable..kena bukak bateri daa

5. USB tak standard..but still that's y the size is compact and the weight lowered ..it's up to user la

6. I've never use PDA before. so I might wrong on this.maybe Winmo based PDA lain mcm ni tp aku tak pasti..everytime on kan app kena close guna task manager ke? sebab bg aku tu quite troublesome even though u can find it at start menu

7. like any other phone..low battery means NO camera..but kalo aku tak silap bateri aku masa tu abt 40% still can't support the camera..Megapix-wise, it's 5MP anyway

so far that's it..I'll come back later with the pro's..which is..lots of it!!

Ok..aku tak tau nak stat dari mana..cos it's really been a pleasing experience using Omnia..estatic you might called it!

1. UI - contrary to popular belief, plus internet pictures.. it's quite an amazing UI afterall..kalo tgk kat intenet memang nampk cam silly dia punya interface dgn kaler warna warni tp bila you ada hands on experience..meleleh air liur nak bli wehh..

Tym bli tu aku bandingkan ngan Diamond..mmgla diamond nampak elegan ngan greyish black colour tp well sume wallpaper leh customize right? Tp paling aku suke Touchwiz tu bolehkan kite drag mcm PC biasa..very useful

2. Touchwiz UI - Touch screen capability quite superb.maybe tak mcm HTC yg leh zoom ngan pusing2 jari jek tp Omnia pon not bad ngan TS dia. swipe je. apetah lagi ngan 5MP tah bpe kali aku zoom baru smpi maximum pic tuh ..and don't forget..ada touchback tech lagik

3. Camera..5MP sume tau quality camne ..ada flash..walaupun kdg2 too bright..auto smile? hehe aku suke pakai cos once my wifey smile..."CLICK!"

4. Virtual keypad/keyboard etc..ada 5-6 pilihan yg u nak..phone keypad, keyboard, transcriber (fav aku sebab leh tulis pki stylus kat mane2 je) etc..pilih je mana2..keyboard dia mmg kecik kena pakai stylus..bg sape yg biasa ngan phone keypad maybe suke pakai md tuh.bagi yg nak better keyboard..well..this is winmo..install any apps yg support bluetooth keyboard

5. Call - I've been a Nokia user since forever..so the fact that Nokia has speed dial, (that I've used it to great extent) it's a great thing that Omnia has it as well..but sorry folks..no voice dialling..

Too much too say la bout this phone.so kalo ada nak tnya pasal any specific on this device mayb aku leh cite..But

Will i lurv it? Damn sure!

Will i recommend it! Absolutely!!

Plus..kalo nak compare ngan other TS phone say Diamond, Pro u can see the clear diff:

1. Processor - Omnia wins hands down (600++ MHz) compared to Diamond, Pro and even HD or EVEN Xperia with abt 500++ MHz

Albeit in ROM department, Xperia with 256 better than 128 of Omnia, but with some tweak it will be better or just leave as it is cos the higher processor power

2. Camera - 5MP.. not sure about Xperia.. but HD comes with 5MP but conspicously NO flash!!. while the other HTC product obviously with much lower MP. even iPhone has crappy camera and no video call.

But - whether I'm new atau tak habis godek Omnia, macam tak leh pakai second camera Omnia utk take picture . meaning solely n purely for video call..my guess maybe utk preserve dia punya 5MP tagline..

3. bateri -1440mH kalo tak silap..way better than other HTC product..diamond? 900mH je

Wah ok la kalau gitu dah baca positive review boleyla buat an informed decision ni. Hari tu pun dah play around with Omnia ni masa skodeng die kat digital mall. Cuma bab rega die tu yg buat nangis ni. Mmg sikit lagi nak keluar cik CC tu

Gi ronda2 kat lelong ada beberapa seller jual mmg lebey murah dr published rate (lgpun most prolly those are used Omnia), tp tu la mmg amatla teragak2 nak usha diorg

1. GPS lock.. how fast. Indoor/Outdooor
2. GPS application yang support.?
Klu OS WinMobile, GMXT, Mapking2007, IGO, Smart2Go sepatutnya takde masalah....

Yang tak tahan... hp ni klu takde stylus... mati kutu. Touch Screen tak berapa menarik
Pastu kena cari stylus gantung ....

Boleyla..tp yela lain org lain opinion right? in some department still ada room for improvement utk omnia and afterall the "Samsung" tag on the phone lowers the aesthetic value a bit compared to say "Nokia" aight? Tp..up to user la..bagi aku, fully satisfied ngn Omnia. Reason? Very multipurpose and capable sebab too much function and apps..

Em betul..sebab utama bengong sblm ni nak bli omnia atau tggu HD is dia punya TS. tp pas try dua2 diamond ngan omnia, rasa takde beza sgt pon walaupun TouchFlo mmg cukup berbezala, bagi akula.

Pasal stylus, aku tak pasti sebab aku rasa sedap je and prefer pakai jari..xde slot mmg mslh tp kalo ada pouch khas cam aku rasa takde mslh

Kat Digital Mall seksyen 14 PJ. byk option dlm tu pilih je mana2 shop yg berkenan. yg pasti survey sume and nego. aku dpt ngan rega RM2.7K plus ori pouch, ori specialized travel pouch (yg leh clip kat belt tu), 4Gb Sd, USB cable, handsfree cum radio cable except Tv-out cablel. add another 80 then u get Jabra bluetooth headset.

In other word I get all that much lesser than the retail price of 2799 for OMnia 8Gb! Even FMC via courts sells at 2899 for the 8Gb but with 8Gb Sd

Heheheh tu la ntah2 selisih bahu ...Tp ni nak tunggu lagi sebulan la assess perasaanku terhadap Omnia ni. Kalau mabuk kepayang gak gi la balik jelajah DM beli.

Take ur time on d GPS function tu, but once ur done, jgn luper sharing2 review kat sini yekk.

Another thing did u ask bout the Tv cable?Ader tak?kalau ader kena top up berapa yekk??

aritu jumaat so survey smpi tghr cos nk smyg.so sempat bargain ngan 3 kedai je. xsempat g atas pon. pengajrannye..gla survey sume n pastikan sume package ada. sebabnye 2nd kedai jual murah tp the catch tak de install software ..3rd kedai stat pd retail price 2799 tongek tul:@ ..aku bargain dpt 2699. campur bluetooth ngn clip pouch 2800 tp pouch bukan customised and takde magnetic

so aritu aku blila kat 1st kedai kat digi stall..kedai memula tuh..tp make sure next tym survey abisla kedai dlm tuh..takes time tp worth it ..ada rajin gla low yat maybe dpt lg murah..
