Maharishis who were revealed with the Holy Vedas... I'm not trying to equalize Hindu prophets or seers with israelites' or arabs' nabi here. It is just to simplify the understanding. Of course we use the term Maharishis, Muni, Sant, Maharaj, Bhagavan and so on according to our holy scriptures to refer to our religious figures.
First of all, what does "nabi" means in arabic and what is the root etimology for the particular arabic word? as far as I know, muslims would divide the definition for their religious references into two which is known as the lughat (literal) and the mustalah (technical).
I had to learn Urdu as I lived sometimes in Pakistan for a project, they used smattering arabic words even in their Punjabi slangs  Last edited by vikramavardhana on 4-6-2014 01:51 PM

Answer my question first - Do you know the difference between Maha Rishi and Sage? If so, what is the difference?
I will state ONE simple fact in Hinduism - there is no Nabi or Rasul in Hinduism. Rishis are vurneable to make mistakes like everyone else as well, therefore they should be considered to be examples - good and bad examples.

Kerana kami tidak meminta cop mohor nabi Muhammad kamu dan imam Syafei atau imam Hanifa mengikut doctrine agama kamu, bukan? Whoa, it sounds quite serious. I'm sorry to hear that.
Well, I cannot judge them since our communities are not so much better than others too. It's safer to say that you've encountered differences of values or culture when you mingled with others. By the way, what is your ethnicity if you don't mind? We did not divide the society but the society simply works so since pre-historic era... There were many races who were downgraded in ancient India. They were of the higher rank in society although they were not part of the Vedic society. It happens because of their negligence in performing their duties in the society and in the universe (in this case, the Earth)

Sure, those concepts are not the concept founded in Hinduism.
Why are you answering for Truth.8? 
Anyway, you are right. Such concept doesn't exist in Hinduism. In Hinduism there is only Rishi which means holy men who have devoted themselves to Spiritualism. Only today, under the influence of Abrahamic belief system in India, we have so many new terms like Pundits etc. |

IF that is so, then WHAT do you expect to happen by answering for them? That they will develop faith?
The difference between me and you - I have came to an understanding that many humans in this World are not humans in true sense but animals in human clothing. Their bodies are that of a human but their soul is that of a pigs, dogs, cats and other animals. This happens because humans have killed many creatures before they could obtain enough spiritual energy to reincarnate as humans and at the same time, this humans go and produce populations in an alarming rate, so the World have to take the souls of the animals (which cannot be born due to mass extinction in the animal kingdom) and put it into human bodies.
Therefore, I do not expect them to have faith nor do I commit any actions where I could hope they could evolve spiritualism. It is a waste of my time and effects to educate this sub-humans.
