MBC welcomes back Goodbye Mr. Black

Why hello again, Goodbye Mr. Black! I’m glad to hear that the project isn’t dead after all, after SBS had dropped it from their schedule in favor of another drama, Remember. It was a surprise move, particularly since Goodbye Mr. Black had already lined up a solid cast, led by Lee Jin-wook (The Time I’ve Loved You), Moon Chae-won (Good Doctor), and Kim Kang-woo (Golden Cross).
Now MBC has picked it up, and while it isn’t common for a show to be picked up by one broadcaster, dropped, then picked up at another, it has happened before and I’m all for a show getting a second shot at life. Granted, I have no idea whether this drama will be good, but there was enough about the revenge-romance-melodrama premise to intrigue me, so I’d been sad when it got shelved.
Goodbye Mr. Black is based on a manhwa featuring a hero who’s betrayed by his best friend and lover, who then assumes a new identity to return and seek revenge. Lee Jin-wook will play that hero, and Moon Chae-won is the plucky young woman who pretends to be married to him to aid him in his plan. Their relationship eventually ends up healing him, but I hope not before he gets a taste of revenge — I don’t want him to lose his soul over it, but I always hanker for just a little payback to satisfy my bloodlust. Just a pound of flesh will do.
MBC will air Goodbye Mr. Black as a Wednesday-Thursday drama in early 2016.

gigih la 3 channels besar2 ni bersaing utk 3-3 drama yg line up mmg mantap2 belaka! kan kiter yg giler dgn kdrama pun meroyan melayan semua drama2 yg ada! hehehehehe
