The latest book yg ice beli ialah The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger.
I was expecting too much from this book- i thought it would have the charm n wit of Kinsella's books but boy i was wrong. To tell you the truth i find this book quite depressing. Cerita nie actually berkisar ttg kehidupan Andrea yg diterima bekerja at a glamorous fashion magazine and from day 1..dia nie teruk kena torture by her boss -mentally that is, sebab si boss - Miranda is one hell of a demanding woman.
Thank god i do not have any problems di tempat kerja..sebab kalau ya..instead of being a stress reliever..this would add to the pressure i feel.
It is reccomended for light reading but kita as manusia biasa rasa tertekan juga by this Miranda..altho she's just a fictional character..
Next time i'll just go for Kinsella's books.. |

I have finished reading "Mrs Dalloway" by Virginia Woolf and "Maigret Sets a Trap" by George Simenon. I'm currently reading "Fathers and Sons" by Turgenev concurrently with "Murder of the Links" by Agatha Christie  |

da abis baca This Heart of Mine from Susan Elizabeth Phillips ... sambungan dr It Had to Be You ... cita pasal adik Phoebe Calebow ... Molly Sommerville miss goody-goody who was bored with her life and did wild things to be imperfect... she fell in love with a football star Kevin but was forced to marry one another after an incident happened. the book revolved on how they coped with their marriage and found their happiness at last. ;) |

baru lepah abih baca Jemima J from Jane Green ... terlampau absorbed ngan buku ni sampai terasa mcm jemima lak ... :lol walaupun witty ... this book reflects so much on struggle that women face with weight problems and vulnerability with courtship and relationship ...sonok gak baca buku ni sbb saya terasa motivated pulak nak jadik mcm jemima yg kuat azam utk lakukan sesuatu dgn jayanya(in her case losing weight) ;) |

just finished reading 'i know this much is true'...forgot the author's name...maybe by wally lamb kot...best citer nie, about twin brothers (one of the oprah book club)...b4 this book, i read one book by john irving, tak ingat tajuk buku tu but main character in the book is owen meany...a bit heavy, i nearly stopped reading it...tp bila dah sampai separuh, mcm tak boleh letak pulak... lol |

Farisya..ice suka baca buku ni bila tgh gemuk..Ada motivation sket utk turunkan berat..well...much of it is fantasy ttp bila baca ttg jemima nie kita cam bersemangat sket. Jane Green is indeed very witty and Jemima J is one of my fav. characters & book..
Tapi the twist di hujung cerita yg tak tahan tue :lol [ marah ada..sedih pun ada] |
