Actress, host and entrepreneur Neelofa (pic) says she is thankful for all the opportunities given to her to follow the latest fashion shows in New York, Harian Metro reported.
Neelofa, whose real name is Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor, said this after receiving invites from fashion show organisers.
“Alhamdulillah, I got to meet some of the famous fashion designers in the world such as Tommy Hilfiger.
“I also got the opportunity to meet with renowned hijab model Halima Aden and got her views and experiences on fashion designing and modelling, ” she said.
Prior to this, other local celebrities such as Jow Flizzow and Farah Nabilah had gone for several international fashion shows.
“Through the invites to the New York Fashion Show, I have participated in 13 activities, five fashion shows, dinners with designers and I have also tried their clothing in the display rooms, ” said Neelofa.
She added that when she was trying out the outfits by Hilfiger, the designer complimented her and shared his views on fashion.
Neelofa said she had also received invites to attend fashion shows in Paris before heading to Milan for another show.
